Just wanted to add another positive review for this place....let my 8 yr old have a jam on an electric guitar, whilst we spoke banjos! Excellent customer service. Very friendly. Welcoming, and appreciative that not everyone is an accomplished musician. We'll be back.

Great shop, great equipment, great staff and great service. I bought my £1400 electric drum kit from here back in November 2011, and I've yet to have anything go wrong with it. The guy who served me throughout the whole sale, was one of the nicest guys I've ever met, and even delivered the drum kit himself to my house. Even if I've bought more sticks or whatever in there, they often give me some sort of deal as they respect that you spent a lot of money in their shop! Like I said, absolutely superb - couldn't recommend better.

They lock the guitars up. Major fail for people who want to buy guitars. Less experienced or good players (like me) find it excruciating to have to ask to try a guitar. Take a leaf out of Wunjos book, you'll sell more guitars. Promise.

If there was a 6-star option I'd select it without hesitation.
Greatest staff on the planet, all really cool and can help with anything. Prices are as much as 50% less than some local stores and they don't give you any dirty looks when you take up the studio or ask to try out more guitars and amps. I choose to an hour-long bike ride to go to this store rather than walk five minutes to the Abingdon one.
The only problem is that you can't stop going back!

I am enormously greedy, and there is nothing I like better than scoffing grub. When I went and shopped at this store, I was so delighted with the staff, service and deals, that I felt the kind of euphoria that I normally only get from eating a pork pie with a hard boiled egg in the middle. Fantastic place and people. My only regret is that they didn't have a pie counter, as I spent a whole ten minutes there, and so was beginning to feel a bit faint through lack of nourishment.

The shop is small with so many instruments. At fist sight you see a total mess. But when you look closely you can see the order. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me buy my audio system.

Great place. The store has a huge selection and great service. Met a great guy called Jon there who helped pick out the right bass for everything that I was looking for, from price range to size, and helped me test it out. Without his help, I never would have found out that the Squier VM Jaguar SS bass is probably what I should be saving up for. Will definitely see me in there again.
