Great staff prices spot on for a local store and very handy with a post office.
You will find most things you are looking for and if they are not in store John will be only to pleased to get them in for you .

The shop it's self is fine but the lady working the post office is abrupt, unhelpful and always finds a reason not to assist. I've had 3 separate negative experiences with her and won't bother again. The post office in Newark is less convenient for me to get to but they always help with no issues.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!
THE WOMAN BEHIND THE POST OFFICE COUNTER IS THE MOST ARROGANT CREATURE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE ON THIS EARTH.
DOES NOTHING BUT CHASTISE AND PATRONISE AND TRIES TO STEAL PEOPLES JOY.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS SHOP AGAIN AND I SINCERLY HOPE SHE IS AS UNHAPPY IN LIFE, AS SHE SEEMS TO BE, WORKING BEHIND THE COUNTER.
I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD. DISGUSTING!!

I shop regular at this shop,it's OK post office awesome but I find papers are always late cash machine has a 1.00 limit on the machine and he sells me too much green monster... Lol

John is always welcoming and happy to chat. Very much a village shop and part of the community. There’s usually beer and wine on offer too, so pretty much a lifesaver!

Have shopped here for over 2 years, albeit reluctantly due to the surly man usually on the till. However he surpassed himself for rudeness last Sunday & I will never shop there again. I wished I'd had the courage to just leave the purchases on the counter & walk out, in hindsight. I accepted higher prices as it's a corner shop. But now I'd get a taxi & go elsewhere or do without.

Twice now I've brought milk that was a out of date, I know I didn't check the date, but I shouldn't feel the need to when the shop should take out of date stuff of the shelf.
Wasn't until my partner poured it on his cereal and took one spoonful and spat it out again!
It's a good job I didn't put it my babies food!!
