Good range of equipment at affordable prices. More geared towards the caravan/glamping side of the outdoors than hunting/survival. Good selection of tents and also work gear like hi-viss and steel toe caps

Went tent shopping at Winfields Outdoors - Measham, and we were not disappointed. Great assortment of tents across different size, budgets and configurations all pitched outside to have a good look round. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable without any pushy sales pitches. We were lucky enough to have Stew look after us and go through the various pros & cons of several different models, whilst dealing with any queries we had. We eventually ended up buying the Vango Keswick II TC 600DLX Air Tent, can't wait to go and test it out now!

Nothing but amazing things to say about Winfields Outdoors in Measham. The shop is clean and well set out and they have a great selection of goods. The tents setup outside are brilliant to wander around and well looked after. Seeing them all set up and being able to walk around them all really helps in finding the right one for you. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Stuart (Stewart?) the manager, who went above and beyond with helping us to get our perfect tent. Cannot fault them or thank them enough. 5 stars for sure, I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Shop full to bursting with camping kit and clothing so plenty of choice.
Covid arrangements are a bit suspect they should have separate in and out doors snd some thought needs to be given to flow around the shop very hard to distance. When we visited the shop was quite busy but someone decided it was OK to do a training talk about walking footwear to a number of staff in the middle of the footwear area blocking two aisles standing in the area normally used for seating while you try on your shoes, not very smart. Consequently we walked out without purchasing.

Never dissappointed before ... but very restricted choice of Walking Boots in my size
Got sorted ... but more variety of choice would be good
Especially in a product like walking boots...very little in my size ( UK 10 so not outlandish!)
But did get sorted

The original experience was positive with tent arriving on time. I have since had a few issues with rips in the tent. Winfield agreed to return it to the manufacturer but I have now been trying to arrange it since the 2 September.
They have closed their phone customer service support despite increased sales and only working on emails but do not respond.
Managed to get someone to call me on the 2nd Nov who was going to sort it all out but, once again, not heard anything back despite weekly emails asking what is happening.
Hate having to leave reviews like this but left with no idea how to get in touch with Winfields to resolve this. Such a shame as only minor issues with the product that could have easily been resolved.

Great place for outdoor clothing and camping gear.
Well known brands like Jack Wolfskin, Regatta, Weirdfish, Bergheus, Outwell etc.
The sale rail has some really nice items, not just the rubbish that most stores get rid of at the end of the season.
There are customer toilets and the store is wheelchair friendly, although I can't speak for the toilets as I didn't use them.

It’s with great thanks to the store manager helping us with a recent issue and replacing our tent .we were all for giving it up After our 1st experience in years ,but With his expert advice and no quibble exchange were off yet again .we cannot fault the service from him wished I worked there So considerate and very very knowledgable and just a big thankYou for the tips and his patience I’m sure we’ll be in spending again very soon .

Drastically let down by an online company and this store saved our holiday being ruined, by putting aside a 100l coolbox which we travelled from London to collect.
Store was very helpful on the phone and while instore maintained covid rules, and staff continued with their helpful service.

Had a very successful visit this morning my wife has rheumatoid arthritis in her feet so needs very specific boot types. As usual very helpful staff came away with two pairs of boots and numerous other items, there is alway a great choice and a personal service by people who know what they are talking about ????will always keep going back, many thanks guys ????
