Tow was coordinated through my membership/insurance - Hagerty for specialty & classic cars. Jay arrived on time as promised (approx 1 hour from dispatch) with 2 appreciated calls to update on ETA. Truck was a flatbed and detailed pictures were taken of body work & wheels before the classic was loaded onto the bed. Followed me to the service centre and dropped the car off directly in the bay. Impressive service from start to end. Would recommend.

Just got my car towed from here...driver was super nice and professional. Honestly got an amazing price, called several places for quotes and these guys gave me the price of $200. Car broke down by Bay and Front St so super busy intersection. Drivers name was Chris and he did a great job. If you can call ask for Chris!

It is never a good day when you need to call a tow truck but I have to say that my experience with SSR towing was very pleasant. I made a call for qa tow truck at 10:00a and by 10:20a the tow truck arrived. Chris is one of the most professional and nicest human beings I have ever met. I know my vehicle was going to be in good hands once he arrived. He had my vehicle hooked up in no time and delivered to the auto shop before 11:00a. There was was reasonable and Chris is outstanding. I will definitely recommend this company in the future.

I had to use this company provided to me through GM roadside assistance and I wanted to state that the tech Joseph arrived earlier than the expected time and was very professional and friendly and made the towing experience as enjoyable as one could be. Good morning avery one guys Warning Warning I get towed my cube van with SSR Towing company to unload the truck the driver damaged my truck drive shaft.The driver name is Christopher...I will NOT recommend!!!!! this company , I contact the company manager he said how is that possible it's a 12year experience driver, so they promised to take care but after no body answers the phone pictures below.

This is the worst experience we ever had with any towing company. Buyer beware and please save your $$$. The tow truck drivers rip you off. We called at 10 pm Cos we were stuck with no gas. The dispatcher said that the tow truck was going to be with us in 30 mins and will bring ten 10 litres of gas. But the tow truck driver came 90 mins later and did NOT bring gas but was harassing and forcing us to be towed away to a gas station 50 miles away. After we insisted that we only wanted the 10 litres of gas he left us stranded and never came back. We waited for 2 hrs and called another tow truck company
Buyer beware of the scammers at this SSR tow truck company and never call them.

DO NOT USE! This is a scam company. I was quoted $100 over the phone, and when the driver shows up an hour later, he makes a big deal about how there is a little bit of snow at the end of the driveway (which I quickly cleared for him), and because of that it was going to take 45min-1 hr to get the car out, and so price was now $200. I was skeptical that a little bit of snow would make this take an hour, but I didn't really feel like I had a choice since I needed to get the car to a mechanic that day.
It ended up taking 5-10 minutes, as you would expect with a regular towing job.
I said we should stick to the orginal quote, since it hadn't taken extra time, but the driver refused to consider that since he "had already called it in" (as if I care about that).
I called to complain, but the person said I should have just declined the job if I didnt want to pay double the original quote. If I did that, I would have wasted an hour between the initial call and when the driver showed up, and the car wouldn't have gotten fixed that day. I think they have a good understanding how they can trap customers like this with bait and switch pricing.
Also, it's December in Toronto. Maybe consider factoring snow on the ground into the quotes you give out?

Absolutely the WORST experience possible. Everything about my experience with this company last night was terrible and NO ONE should have to go through this.
1) Operator on the phone promised 30-45min for the wait (ended up taking over 90min for the truck to arrive).
2) Operator also said it would be 70$ even, while the tuck driver kept demanding MORE MONEY.
3) I needed a full Battery boost / charge, AND THEY SHOWED UP WITHOUT CABLES !! Truck driver said "its busy tonight, i forgot'
4) The driver tries to charge my car with a small portable battery boost for literally 3/4 seconds, then looks at me and says 'your car is broken, you'll need a tow'
5) Tow driver REFUSES to do anything else and demanded payment in full. Told me to "hurry up, i don't have all night for you" when i was getting my wallet.
6) AFTER charging me, and putting his gear away- the driver gave me his PERSONAL phone number to call him later to tow my car. (Claiming if I call the SSR towing place again it; cost me more and he will personally do it for cheaper????)
After refusing everything he offered, I asked my neighbour to connect their car to mine with proper jumper cables and after 10min my car turned on!!!!
You showed up to a vulnerable situation, TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME, and then tried to discredit your own company, and CHARGE ME MORE. This company is PATHETIC and should not be legally allowed to provide this FAKE SERVICE. 0 STARS .

RUN AWAY! Complete Pirates of the road.I called and gave a complete description of my truck, make , model, year and weight.When the driver came he said it would be $250.00 instead of $180.00 to be towed 10 km because of the trucks weight.I told dispatch the weight when I called in.The driver also offered me a beer that was rolling around the floor which I declined.The result was no tow.

Demanded we pay cash even though that is illegal. When I brought that up the dispatch said yes they know about this law and are trying to fix their machines. That is not the customers problem especially when ordering the tow truck this information was not disclosed. The older man that was sent was very helpful and professional.

Sweet talking thieves. I went to change my front brake pads on a Dodge Grand Caravan. I was quoted $150. The technician broke the calipers on one side because he used a hammer on it. He also damaged a rear wheel bearing which I got to know after I drove out. The break job cost $650 instead of the $150. Hanif didn’t even advise to change rotors and didn’t offer to share the cost of damaging the caliper. Not only that he said the caliper was $200 when it actually cost less than $100 as advised by an honest mechanic. These guys are pure dishonest creatures. Be very careful dealing with them.

Place is a complete scam and overpriced. Tried to charge me $430 for a tow when they said it was supposed to be $250 + tax on the phone. I had to pay via etransfer and then they STILL charged me another fee through credit card. Horrible service
