A Better Way Towing has been helping us as property owners for at least 3 years now. I’ve had vehicles left on our property due to construction workers and new tenants of condos going up in the area and they were prompt in getting the vehicles. We have been in business at this location for over 15 years and ever since the new condos starting going up, we have been experiencing a lot of unauthorized parking on our property. We already have limited space as it is and don’t have room for any extra vehicles on our property. It was frustrating, but A Better Way Towing was there for us to take care of that. I highly recommend this company. Thank you Arthur and team!

I’m reviewing as a property owner. I’ve encountered a couple of vehicles left on my property for days and months on end. Total ridiculous. They were unauthorized trespassers on private property. I left notes on those cars to warn and gave them chances to remove before towing but nothing happened and seasonal debris kept piling on the cars. So I contacted this towing company to remove the vehicles from my property. I’ve since put up signs to deter such individuals and for those individuals to know who to contact to retrieve their car. I endorse and trust Arthur and his team enough to name them on the custom made parking warning signs. Having looked at their reviews below whether they’re good or bad it would all look good to a property owner knowing that someone professional and responsive would be lifting all the troubles off my shoulders. Easy peasy! If you don’t want to encounter such company then don’t illegally park! I gave 4 stars as opposed to 5 stars as it’s my honest opinion and every business is run considering all factors such as priority, scheduling, and availability which I totally understand. In a perfect world it’d be 5 but in reality it’s at 4 with room for improvement and 4 is good enough for me to endorse and create customs signs for. Also side note I’ll be selling the property in a couple of months but the signs will still be up for the new property owner. I trust they’re in good hands! Keep up the good work Arthur and team!

Used A Better Way to unlock my car. Dispatch sent me a truck within 15 minutes. And my car was unlocked in less than a minute. All money are worth it, counting it was freezing cold outside. Recommend them to use, good guys, they know what they are doing.

Just finished a hard long day of work, and the only thing I wanted was to come home and have a peaceful dinner. That was when I realized there was an unknown vehicle parked in my spot! Tried to contact everyone I could think of who could have parked at my spot, but no luck! It was a Sunday evening, pitch dark, there was no way I could have knocked on every household to inquire who parked at my spot. And so I resorted to calling A Better Way Towing company. Tim arrived with his assistant in less than 15 minutes. He handled the situation professionally and treated the vehicle with care. Very impressed. Highly recommend this company if you are ever in a desperate scenario.

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! If you read all the negative reviews you’ll see the owner blaming the customer, or calling the customer a liar. No type of apology or attempt to rectify the situation. Just watch his response to my review. This company also comes up under Richmond Hill Towing when you do a Google search. I was not aware when I called that number that it would actually be A Better Way Towing that shows up to my home. I’m not sure why the business has two names, maybe something to look in to. I called them to help me tow from my home to a repair shop 400 meters away. They charged me over $350 for what he said was loading the car on the truck and the use of a dolly. I told him to put the car back on my driveway because this amount was absurd for towing to a place down the street. He said it will be $300 to take it back off the tow truck. while he is still in front of my driveway!!! $300!!! It must have took him about 10 mins to load my car on the truck. I would rather have pushed my car the 400 meters barefoot in shorts and t-shirt, through the snow, in -14 degree temperatures than be taken advantage of the way this company did. Robbery!!! They are not good people. I don’t know how they sleep at night knowing they take advantage of people this way. They purposely do not disclose the price up front and says he told me the price on the phone...do you seriously think if you said “this will be a $350 tow” I would have said “ok, please come rob me”.??? He held my vehicle hostage on his truck with a threat to tow to the junkyard if I didn’t pay. They are breaking some laws here. Avoid them like Coronavirus, stay far away. Forgot to add that I called another tow company because I had to get another tow from that repair shop to another repair shop 2 km away . $100. dolly included. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Wow! Honestly the best towing experience I have ever had. My car went into a ditch and I couldn't drive it out. I looked up reputable towing companys, and I lucky came across A BETTER WAY TOWING. And thank God i did. They came in under 20 minutes, and the tow truck drivers name was Arthur. What a gentleman he was. Very polite and professional. Saw the situation and told me the best options to get my car out. So we ended up winching my car out of the ditch. There was alot of mud and I saw that Arthurs shoes and jeans got muddy but he was so relaxed about everything. Even made some funny jokes to make light of what would have been a stressful situation. He later towed my car to my mechanic's shop.Their service is outstanding and super professional. I use to have a bad impression from tow company's and tow truck drives but after my experience with A BETTER WAY TOWING and Arthur, I can honestly say there is A BETTER WAY TOWING.

Get an actual price from them if you plan on using this company... Called in and they said it was $250 for the deposit and the tow shouldn't be "that much"... I'm still trying understand how it can cost you over $2500 to tow a van to a place that is 3km away...
Yea we were forced to use insurance because as soon as your driver loaded up our van it became $2500 if I wanted my van back...

Update: Your response shows your type of business etiquette, and speaks volumes of how you treat your customers. My in laws were also there and can attest to the price being told after the car was out, and it was the highest of the range given on the phone. $350 with tax $395 for 45 minutes of work? You know you took advantage. That’s all I have to say.
scumbag tow truck driver charged my wife 350$ Plus tax for a 15 minute winch. Not even a tow. She called me and informed me the price. I told her to cancel the driver but she decided to wait as they told her the driver was on the way. As she called them back an hour and half later after waiting. They said if she cancels the tow, we will still charge on her credit card. On top of that they only allowed cash. I work in the automotive industry and tow truck drivers like this should not take advantage of the people that don’t know better. If you guys are looking for a Tow. I highly don’t recommend.

Called this company when a wheel fell off our vehicle. Google ratings seemed pretty good. My wife was driving and I was away at a conference so I was communicating with Arthur for my wife.
He arrived at the scene and quoted me what seemed to be a steep price but what choice did I have? My wife was stuck I needed someone to help her. He towed the vehicle to the nearest Canadian Tire and then tried to squeeze my wife for cash even after I had given him my credit card number.
As it turned out, the vehicle could not be fixed at Canadian Tire and had to be towed to a dealership. We called someone else because Arthur just rubbed my wife the wrong way. The second driver did the same job and drove a longer distance for a quarter of what we were charged by Arthur. Now of course, we knew we had gotten ripped off.

My friends car got towed from a parking lot. It was quick service so i wont complain. Only issue i had was the excessive fees to get the car back. It was hefty for someone who drove a pretty old car. Our fault for not paying for parking, just wished the fees were a little more reasonable for a stupid decision. Didnt bother pleading a case because the guys seemed a little intimidating. Atleast we know now.

Recently got my car towed from this company and I had a bad experience. I parked in a parking spot where I exceeded the time I was allowed to park at the location. However to retrieve my car back it was 520$. This is an exceedingly high amount for simply disobeying a parking rule, and not obstructing any other law. The man I dealt with on the phone was not compassionate and was rude and said he would not confront me if I did not present whole payment in cash upfront. His tone was threatening and said how only I alone can pick up the car and no one else can come with me. Very concerning and definetly not a good way to deal with someone, especially to someone you just towed their car from.

this guy operating as a mafia setting up some one in the strip malls to split the money with the building owner and he forcefully tow the car damages it and treatening people for heavy price for towing 10 km 250 dollars storage money and police clearance money 150??(which no York region police is aware of)
only better business bureau or Markham chamber of commerce can help to close this kind of people from hearting others cars and mentally torture them

Arthur arrived to save the day! He promised to be at my location within 25 minutes but he actually arrived in 15. Thank goodness because it was hot (37 degrees) and I was stuck just before a very busy intersection in full sun and a black car!
Arthur had my car hooked up within 5 min and we were on our way to the mechanic.
He's a very friendly guy and we had a nice chat about food and life during the drive :)

On the Sunday of the last Canada Day long weekend, my car wouldn't start after I ran into a Tim Horton's in the Dufferin and Langstaff area of Vaughan.

I called a bunch of tow companies, but Arthur at A Better Way Towing, was the only one that returned my call and could help me.

He gave me a time that he'd be there and was there a few minutes early!

He gave me a price for the hook up and the price per kilometre to get it to my mechanic. Even before he picked up the car he calculated the total cost and I was aware of it. I appreciated that. There was no pressure, I knew exactly what I was being charged before the tow!.

Most people only meet tow drivers during bad stressful times and as such, their impressions of others during these times are made through the haze of the difficulty they are experiencing..

Arthur was extremely helpful, kind and reassuring ....... and he played very relaxing 'ENYA kind of calming music', which was what anyone stressed out would gladly welcome.

This company has Over charged and got sued. Apparently they do that to all customers and till this year noone looked at the details of charge and their illegal over charges. FYI, anyone who previously used their services needs to follow up for reimbursement. Complete scam. Please read your charge details before payment. The owner will try to threaten you by calling you or by replying here providing false statement. But have your documents ready and do not listen to him. Contact me if you have any concern as I am getting many inquires about this. This is Canada and companies cant charge you based on pure lies.

My transmission blew while I was in the 407. I googled “nearest towing company” and Better Way Towing had the highest customer service ratings with Google. Being broken down by the side of the road is very stressful experience. I called and spoke with Arthur. He said he would be there in 30 minutes. He was there is 15 minutes. We actually had a nice discussion on the way. He’s an intellectually curious guy. He has a good attitude...he chalks it up to his meditation practice. Everything was up front cost-wise. I’d use him again for sure.

BEWARE! Like many others who have written negative reviews, I too am guilty of not reading the reviews before contacting this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are impossible to speak with, hold your vehicle randsom unless you pay the astronomical fees...completely dishonest thieves . Taking legal action against them. Read the reviews, the owner has a bogus story for every frustrated customer like me. Plenty of reputable towing companies out there, don't throw your money away with this one.

For anyone needing a towing service, go to Youtube and search, [Driver says tow company charged sky high fees to return car]. For anyone who got towed near Wonderland, contact the police and file a report like what 680 News says on Youtube. The news on Youtube says this company illegally towed 60 cars without the parking lot owner's permission to make $500x60 = $30000 on 1 day (Canada Day). Called a better way towing after my work vehicle broke down. They showed up with in 20 mins. Now my work truck has issues so I need a tow regularly. This was by far the best experience I've ever had. 9/10 tow truck drivers smoke 10 cigarettes with the windows up ! Trucks are disgusting and drivers are not interested in conversation. A better way towing trucks are clean, drivers friendly, and help turn a bad experience into good afternoon. Thanks again !
