Iconic pedestrian crossing, excellent photo opportunity for any Beatles fan! Watch out, drivers get irate as they slow down, but then realise that you're only posing for a photo rather than want to cross the road. :)

The worlds first purpose built recording studio. It’s played host to some of the most important recording artists of the 20 century and continues to do so to this very day. I was lucky enough to take a tour exploring every aspect of the place, from the recording studios to the little bar situated right in the heart. A great experience!

What more can be said. It's a legendary recording studio and deservedly so. The walls are adorned with pictures of artists and films (they do soundtracks) both old and new; look out for the "Guardians of the Galaxy" still. One of my favourite music studios I've recorded in.

Great experience to go there inside the studio. A dream of a life realized The history of popular music is here. Listen and touch the pianos directly, without amplifier, just you and it, in an intimate moment. The same ones used in many Beatles music. Unforgettable

Pure nostalgia for those of us who grew up on The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and the Rolling Stones. The studio has gig tickets and the shop next door has a decent collection of Abbey Road recording memorabilia.

Super crowded and many cars during the afternoon, I recommend going really early. I went around 9am and there was no one.

We only stopped by for some photos and to walk the zebra crossing. Lovely little shop with tons of great items to choose from. Thought about buying a Beatles album, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend £16, so I bought a £25 shirt instead.

Just visited the shop since the studios rarely allow visitors. There is a great variety in items to shop - mostly Beatles memorabilia. Don’t forget to get a snap from the famous zebra crossing!

There is construction so it is hard to see the entrance but inside is real cool. There is so much history - images and memorabilia from important musicians. Don't forget to read the graffiti wall and snap a photo in the famous crosswalk.

So you can’t actually go into the studios as a tourist. You can, however, dodge traffic and get your picture on the zebra crossing out front (quite fun), write on the graffiti wall (take a colored Sharpie), and buy souvenirs in the gift shop next door (highly recommend and I’m not even much of a souvenir buyer). All excellent experiences. Although the studio isn’t open to the public, there are people going in and out, so you might even see someone famous. We did not. As far as we know. Definitely worth the short tube ride and walk if you’re any sort of Beatles fan. And even if you’re not, St John’s Wood is a lovely area of town with quaint, tree-lined streets.

Nostalgic, however you can't just go in and look around. Small gift shop with Beatles mugs and other stuff. Be careful crossing Abby Road it's a little harder than people think and I kept forgetting to look right.

If you're interested in music history this is quite an experience. Events here are rare and quite expensive but still worthwhile - sitting in front of the mixing desk in the studio 2 control room isn't something you do every day!
