Booked car in for vibration at idle, they plugged in scan tool which I had already done and said there is nothing wrong and fleeced me for £70. I suggested that the engine mounts maybe at fault. Instead of checking this they just said they could quote me for replacing them. I picked the car up and I have just examined the mounts and they are the problem. This place is useless for fault finding. Use a old school mechanic who doesn't rely on a scan tool.

My breaks had been playing up for weeks, was told to use this company by friend who actually received wonderful treatment. Unfortunately mine wasn't anything of the sort. My breaks had been playing up for weeks, and Les who initially was a very polite refined gentlemen, soon changed his tune when he told me he was going to charge me storage as I was self isolating due to the current pandemic. I refused this charge as I had already paid £475 for two break pads, ridiculous I know. Les became very ratty and told me if I didn't pay £19 a day storage he would take me to court. I will never use Les again, arrogant man.

Tried to overcharge me for a service back in 2013. When I questioned the difference in what they charged and what was currently showing on their site they had no explanation and refunded me once I threatened to speak with the company directors. Was also told I desperately needed a new clutch and quoted a ridiculous amount. Well.... 7 years later and the clutch is still in situ. Jokers

Wish I had read these previous reviews first! Yet again the 3rd customer to be struck by terrible service and guess work! Took my car in to have some diagnostics done to help resolve a smokey exhaust issue. They came back with an option to replace the exhaust temp sensor even though I told them it was an injector issue? After having my car for 5 days and with no courtesy call from them on when the work would be completed they charged me nearly £450 to plug in a new sensor and guess what the issue was not resolved! I was so angry when I came to collect the car I asked for the diagnostic report which they struggled to print off and included info on another persons car? No code to say the temp sensor was faulty and I asked for the old sensor back which was checked out later and proven to be in full working order! What hurt the most was it's a part that you can buy online for £25!! The car was filthy and not valeted, plus the manager showed no compassion for the crooked service they offer customers. Just saying well we have done the work and are still cheaper than main dealer?? They even tried overcharging me by £60 on my card but I pulled them upon it! These guys will simply do anything to get a big bill from you and have no expertise or value for customers interests. I hope all people who read this take notice.

Easy. Accommodating. Cheap. They however did not properly replace the front lower grill trim piece but it's hardly noticeable. If you need a cambelt change and full half life service I got it for £675

Failed to diagnose a issue with the Navigation in my car, almost left me £1500 + Vat out of pocket, for something that wasn't even the problem. Imagine i did go ahead ? Had my car for a entire week, fobbed me of with excuses on top of excuses, every time i rang they had a different story. Technicians claimed to have removed seats, lifted carpets and checked wiring looms, Yeah right! On top telling me they did a software update, all in all for £75. The amount of labour involved to do all the above is not justifiable for the little amount you charged and it included a software update. Oh gosh! This garage is only able to carry out basic servicing and nothing else, there are very limited Landrover/Jaguar specialists in the country. These guy's are just as bad as the main dealer Service centre in Hainault. Clueless, Liars and Rip off merchants!

Took in Freelancer 2 with a whinning rear hub, identified as shot wheel bearing, replaced bearing, wheel hub assembly and back plate, parts, labour and vat came to £600. Which is cheaper than the rear dif it could have been at 1600+! Friendly helpful staff. Cheaper than a main dealers.

Great experience. Highly recommended. Had an issue with the parking sensors not working on my Land Rover Discovery. Spoke to a mechanic friend who suggested ALL of the sensors may need replacing, front and back which would be very costly (8 sensors x £100+ each plus labour!) Took the car to Les Pauls who diagnosed that the sensors were fine but the loom (wire connecting the sensors) was damaged and needed repairing. When they tried to repair, they realised the damage was too much and ordered a new loom. Also replaced brake lights. Total cost around £250. Job done :-) and also dropped me home and to the station in between. Would definitely go there again.

What can I say that other people haven't said before. I never trust garages at the best of times and I really wish I had read these reviews before I took the car in here. our car has been in les Paul's on and off since July. Eventually (fingers crossed) and a whole lot poorer the problem has been sorted out. I am sorry but I definitely would Not recommend Les Paul's in a million years.

This place is an absolute Joke.. For a so called Jaguar specialist they don't know their head from their tail. Rip off prices and multiple attempts to diagnose an error. Put parts in that are not needed and call themselves master technicians! Worse off than it went in before.. Stay away from this place and do yourself a favour..

If you value your car read this and stay well away. They had my car stressed the hell out of me eventually fixed the issue, later I now have loads of water leaking coolant issues I never had before I gave it to them. Madness! Spent £400 fixing the damage they were the last people to have my car at that time I'm 99% sure not just a conincidence.

Unfortunately wasn't a good service. After I left the place, at the gas station someone noticed that one of my front tyres was low - turned out to be 19 Psi and the other one was 39 Psi. Should be one of the basic checks they do at the full service and mot?.. The breaks became a bit squeaky, and the next day the handbrake got stuck, so had to forcefully drive car forward to unstuck them. Their reply to all that was that they didn't do anything to the brakes, and that I can come back any time and they will check them (no apology of course). When I came back however, I was told that they have no time and I should come back if it happens again. In addition, they forgot to fill out the service booklet even though they ensured me they did (partially my fault for not checking straight away..) They all seem to be friendly and nice, and I was offered a lift to the station while they were dealing with it. Won't come back - price wasn't cheap for such a bad service either..

50% cheaper than Franchise Dealers and you can see why. Took my Range rover evoque in as it had a traction warning light appear. They charged me for a diagnostic test and they couldnt find anything. Then told me i would be without my car for a few days and said they would need to check the wiring and there would be a cost for this - no issue here. They then eventually decided to call land rover and they said its a known issue and they just needed to upgrade the software which fixed the problem. Had they went to land rover in the first place i would have spent 50% LESS than what i ended up paying. 2 months later i called as i had a warning about a valve sensor in my tyre not working, after calling twice and being told i would be called back i havent heard anything. awful service, not knowledgeable, will NOT be going back here

Don't know what's with the negativity... Went here for a locked boot due to broken wires for my X-Type and I haven't managed to get in it for about 2 months. Local Jaguar quoted me £144.50/hour for a 4 hour job not knowing what they were doing and Les Pauls did it in 2 hours as well as answered a couple of other questions I had with the car. I drove about 40 miles for this and if I have a Jaguar Specialist problem with my car again, I'm going back here 100%. Top service, very polite and very knowledgeable.

Staffs are very unfriendly, bought the car in for MOT, it failed my MOT and asked me change multiple components which are fairly new. I went to another garage to run the MOT again the next day and it passed. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I bought my XKR from Les Paul back in 2008 and they have serviced it and mot'd it since. I have never encountered anything but professionalism. I have had the odd bit of work that has needed to be done and I have usually had a call from Kevin within a couple of hours from droppingnthe car off outlining the problem along with the likely cost. I would thoroughly recommend the team.

I have very bad experience with this Garage, My car was there for a timing belt service i got the car back with broken air flow pipes, missing screws battery housing wasn't closed properly, I went back there and spoke to the manager, HE SAID THERE'S NOTHING HE COULD DO ABOUT IT - SUCH USELESS. Worst Service Experience ever, If i had known, i would have gone to Land Roverfix/Service Centre and get all the issues resolved at a dearer cost rather to get NOTHING resolved at dear cost. They have no idea of the nature of issues with the car, RRS that is, Everything they did were guess work and quoted me on the guess work only to come and find out that they guess work they carried out didn't fix it, already charged me £2000 and then to come again and say to really fix the issue, it would cost another £2000, what a disaster! I am never going to recommend them for fixing issues with RRS maybe to service it, they might carry out a sterling job by following a manual, what a load of rubbish.
