Mechanic was decent enough to reopen the garage on a Saturday afternoon to help fix an issue with my Lancer that would have been problematic for my drive back all the way to Scotland.
Very kind & friendly staff (not forgetting the cat either).

My fuel flap wouldn't open so I couldn't get petrol. Bill Lock was the 4th place I'd phoned and unlike the Hyundai dealer in Basildon where I bought my car who had nothing to offer ( can you believe that?!) I was told: bring the car round now, we'll have a look. In 30 seconds he fixed it, no charge! I'll definitely go back there if I have a problem.

Amazing service, the best. I'm in my 50s so obviously I have had a number of cars (and my husband the odd van) and we have gone through a number of local car mechanics, until we finally found Bill. Bill Lock is hands down the best no-nonsense car mechanic you will find. And in addition to inexpensive & fast car/van repairs - you can tell that he also is just a genuinely nice person.

I have had my van & car serviced by Bill Lock's team in Grays for the past 10+ years. Bill always goes the extra mile to help + he knows his vans & cars and he's pragmatic, meaning he does not make you pay for work you don't need done. Work is done fast and to a high standard. Wouldn't go to another mechanic if you paid me to!!

Went to see bill on a Friday as my car had decided to chew up its water pump and another garage was not even interested to see my car for 5 days he came and collect my car stralight away the next morning he called gave me the price and what parts was needed.
By Saturday afternoon my car was all done and running great,I have to say I was amazed at the great service and great price I will now have all my car maintenance done at bills and would recommend him to anyone who wants a trustworthy garage

They looked over my car and then advised me how much the work would cost to be done they also give me different options as to the work could be done. I found the advise very helpful and honest and i would definitely use them again.

Had my Brakes and Service carried out at BL Autos they were professional but friendly (as I can feel a little intimidated going into a garage) .I went originally for a second opinion they told me what needed to be done and kept me informed of any change to this. The were very good on price and saved me money from the previous garage quote. I will be using them in the future. Nice people to do business with.

I've been using BL Autos for years for my car, they are always really helpful and friendly. As they are quite near to the train station, I drop off my car in the morning and pick it up on the way back from work in the evening as they are open late. The customer service is really great all the way through and I always recommend them.

Hi All,
I would not recommend this garage to my worse enemy. They just rip you off and then laugh in your face. From small repair to big repair or change any parts go to any other one. Ask about the warranty, don't pay until you see your old parts, maybe have time to ask if you can see the labour in progress, otherwise they may say have done a lot and they just put some oil on the rust, and charge you thousands. Be carefully with your hard worked money. Thanks
