By far best place in hayes to go for a wheel alignment. £30 at pitstop using the same equipment as KwikFit but better service at far more reasonable price!

Very genuine and reasonable garage. Had taken my car in for four wheel alignment, not realising that the type of car I own just needed the front wheels aligned. The guys could have charged me for four wheels, but they choose to be honest and just charged me for the front wheels alignment!

Absolutely awful service, won't be returning. 1st issue - they totally ignored the jacking point on my Tesla and jacked the car up from the 400 Volt battery! This is totally unacceptable and potentially has caused me £20k of damage to replace the main battery in the car, I clearly pointed out the rubber jacking points to lift the car from yet the employee of this establishment shoved the jack under the car and lifted it from the High Voltage Battery. Clueless. 2nd issue - when repairing my tyre they didn't even tell me they were not going to do a proper repair, they charged me for a "temporary repair" and told me to go elsewhere to get it properly fixed/replaced after completing the work, making me feel obligated to pay them for something I asked them to do properly and not a patch job. 3rd issue - when refitting the wheel to my car they didn't even torque the bolts! They simply used the Impact tool to get the bolts on, without torque-to-spec. I asked the employee (different employee from issue 1) to use a torque wrench and I was ignored. This is completely unsafe as you don't know what torque has been set for each bolt, some cars require 120nm, some 150, some 170 etc, these guys do not care and their attitude towards other people's safety is appalling as these nuts holding the wheel to the car could come loose if under tightened or they could have stripped the heads if over tightened. 4th issue - I asked for the tyre to be inflated to 42psi as per the manufacturer specifications. This was ignored and again their "one size fits all" psi guess o meter was put into use to input a random number in and get the tyre onto the car forcing me to go to a nearby petrol station to fill up the tyre pressure to remove the tyre warning light on the dashboard. AVOID THIS PLACE!

I visited Pit Stop Hayes today for a suspension arm ball joint replacement and 2 new front tyres as both my brother and dad frequent the garage. However, due to being let down by another local tyre repair garage I was skeptical. Boy was I wrong!! I was welcomed at reception when I dropped my car off and was later called to discuss changes to the repair having inspected the issues before they went ahead with the job. They later called to inform me my car was ready for collection and again I was greeted in reception and informed of the repairs carried out. They not only kept me informed throughout the day but didn’t carry out any unnecessary repair and only did what was needed at a very reasonable price. I feel confident that the service I received with regards to the repairs was sufficient and overall had a very pleasant experience with the garage.

Called for a quote on a part worn tyre and a member of staff (not the owner) tried to over charge me from £70 to £80.Have used them in the past but something like this just breaks trust. Going to Hounslow Tyres instead for the higher price as they haven't tried to rip me off and stuck to their price.

I had my brake discs changed and a little while later, I noticed shaking while pressing down the brake paddle at higher speeds. When I went to these guys they said the pads did not suit the discs, whereas Jay who own the shop approved the pads in the first place..they never accepted liability.

Tyre puncture repaired fine, however on motorway vibrations were felt which is a sign of not being balanced. Went back to ask if balancing was included when a tyre is removed to repair a puncture, was told it was. Went to ATS for a second opinion and the tyre when checked on the rotation system was way out of balance. Sorted at ATS and car drives smooth again. Rush job at pitstop

I did MOT for my car last week and it was decent enough. The only issue is the place to park even if you need to go and speak with them for few mins. They gave appointment quickly and did the MOT within an hour. People at the reception could have been more nicer though.
