I definitely recommend this garage. They’re very professional and quick. The full service is actually a full service - all filters changed, properly checked the brakes, oil changed, full scan with diagnostic tool and full check of the vehicle. When I collected my car they showed me all of the old parts that where changed. Unlike the old garage I’ve been to, where I’m pretty sure that many things were done only on paper, from these guys I left confident that my car was properly serviced. Will clearly go back there for my next service or for any other mechanical issues that I might have. Five stars. Keep up the great work!

Very good service from the team. The owner took time to thoroughly inspect my newly purchased vehicle (which had a 48 hour return policy) to identify potential issues as well as those faults flagged by the computer and explain what these meant, costs to remediate and his recommendations. This service has potentially avoided a few thousands is expense such as for new timing chain, flat tyres and oil leakage clean. Thanks for your help.

SCAM - be aware
After first visit I gave 5 star review which was for service and MOT, even though after the service my car broke down on the way to scotland within a day, as I thought that was due to other issue which may not have detected in servicing.
I had to visit the garage second time due to issue with car not heating, Ali told me they have found the issue that heating switch unit is not working, so temp he has switch the sitting on the heating - manually and need to be changed the whole heating switch unit as that switch is not working. So I have to find replacement from used market and the whole heating switch unite need to be changed.
After I purchased heating unit, I called Ali if I can come to get the switch unit changed, which he told me that would need around 2 hours of labour so I have to leave the car at the garage and come back later to collect. I got suspicious on this, that why it would take that long, so I watched some youtube video to find out how to change the switch unit myself and I found from there that its a fairly easy job, so I tried to change myself when I open the top layer of music system to look in to the switch unit, to my surprise I found out that the switch is working perfectly but the metal wire which need to be attached to switch is removed so its not working. Then I realise how Ali was trying to fool me by asking me to purchase the whole unit when it was not required, I Just had to fix the wire to be attached on back of the switch and it started working fine. For me who have no knowledge of Car repairing took hardly 10 mins to fix it, but Ali was going to charge me for 2 hours labour plus he wanted me to supply new switch unit.
This is a clear fraud, I can imagine he would take for labour work but cheating customer like this when its a simple job and asking people to spend money on things which are not need is scam. It's not done. I will never visit this garage again. Ali fool customer by talking nicely and explain the internal working of car but as you don't know much about Car engine, you will always agree that what he is saying and that how he fools the customer. I have attached some pic with this to show how the switch unit I have fixed.

Great customer service and speedy work. The level of communication was great, too. They sent me an email confirming my MOT booking and whilst I was picking up the car they said they'll remind me via email next year (soon to when it's due to expire).
My first time at this garage, but will definitely be using them again.

Came across them and decided to give it a go after seeing all the great reviews on google. Always excellent service from the team and make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Free hot drinks on offer too. Service is quick which is always a bonus. It's hard to come by a garage with a teams who are always honest and upfront with you and appreciate and value repeat business.

Great service from Ali. Fixed an urgent issue with a van door which is essential for my business. It was a relatively easy fix for him (as an experienced mechanic) as such he did this complimentary. Which was a huge surprise and very welcome. Excellent service and I will be returning as and when needed for all my vehicle needs. Thank you again guys.

I recently had my MOT carried out by them and I’m happy with the service. Ali was very upfront about everything from the problems that need fixing and the price on each item which is really helpful. He also took time to make sure I understand what the problem and gives you time to decide to carry out the work. I visited Ali to get my car checked over as the overheating light had come on. Ali took the time to give it a thorough check, explained everything so that I fully understood what was being done and even how an engine worked! A proper eduction. He then recommended what I should do next. Unfortunately what I needed doing had to be done elsewhere. I would definitely go back to Ali in the future should I need anything else.

I was looking for somewhere to do an Oil Change and GS Garage Services had great customer service and was clear on price. Very friendly and professional on arrival and car was ready at the time agreed. Garage experiences for women (because it's still a sexist industry!) can be quite frustrating and so this was a good experience and I would return again.

Excellent service from Ali for my MOT, quoted £75 to do my Van MOT and few fix ups. He competed all work and refunded £10 as the bulbs replacement were not needed. Honest individual and I’ve been here 3 years now, I must say very efficient and professional. Work done recommended highly honest to his word.

Took my car here for the first time today as recommended. As a female, I am a bit skeptical about using new garages as I have been ripped off in the past (parts changed that wasn’t required, extortionate prices etc)
I was very pleased with the service received by Ali. Excellent customer service and he explained everything to me in great detail. After leaving my car feels like new.
I had a full service for a very reasonable price, plus asked him to complete some extras. Everything was finished within the specified time and I was kept informed.
I was shown all parts that was changed etc. Ali is a thorough mechanic and my service and after care did not feel rushed and the issues with my car was explained in a way that wasn’t incomprehensible.
Thank you Ali, great service received. If I could give you more stars I really would.

Just to have extra money, without serious reason not letting cars to pass MOT, absolutely not professional at all. For a small leak on nearside rear absorber putting "Fail". I knew about the problem, i was told on the last service but explained that it was not serious. I crossed all EU with it and had no problem, but for this guy's it is a reason for fail. Not recommended. Do not go there guys, they will fail you just to get extra money .
P.S. I went to a VW service and they confirmed that there was nothing serious with the shock absorber. I had to spend time and extra money just because someone wanted to make extra money, but didn't expected that I'm not going to use their services. If you know them no problem, anything will pass, even not starting car. But if you are going for a first time they will use words in low like "serious leaking shock absorber," rather then slight leak and "recommended to fix it", not necessary but this could have brought more money for them. The bad thing is no control from anywhere. In this pandemic situations to do this, absolutely unnecessary!!!!

I called the garage up the day I wanted to visit and was able to book a slot straight away. I met up with Ali at the time and he was professional throughout. I had a slight engine problem and he was able to diagnose and check up the issue very quickly. He was also able to provide good tips for my car and was able to fix it handily.
I was especially happy as I have had some unfortunate experiences in garages nearby and this one gave me the confidence that they knew what they were doing and was really helping their clients. Will definitely come back for future check ups whenever I am in the area.

I was a bit wary of choosing a garage as someone who's new to owning a car and didn't have any local recommendations to go on, but I chose these guys based on having the best reviews within a couple of miles of where I live, and so far I'm glad I did! Service over the phone and in person was friendly, professional and efficient, and they checked out an annoying electrical issue with my ancient Toyota the same afternoon before thoroughly explaining the problem to me, recommending I get my battery changed under warranty (when they could easily have just done the work themselves and charged me for it), and refusing to bill me for their time.
I'll be back if I have any other issues and/or for my next MOT, whichever comes first!

Sent in my VW Transporter to get the electric windows fixed. Fault was diagnosed quickly which involved fitting new switches. Ali advised getting a VW specialist to fix it because of the programming required. Labour, diagnosis and advice for no charge! Thank you G.S Garage

My car was overdue on my MOT. So I called around a few garages local to me. Came across GS garage and got fitted in within 2 hours. On arrival at garage was welcomed with a bright smile by one of the mechanics. From start to finish the service and professionalism was immaculate. Will definitely make this my go to garage. I looked at a few places to get my MOT done as it was overdue and saw the reviews for GS Garage and they seemed positive so opted to take the car there. They were able to fit me in straight away. It required some changes to pass. They were super helpful explained in detail what was wrong and showed me what the working part should look like that needed replacing. It was really reasonably priced and fixed within 24 hours. Very impressed with the service - will return next year and would definitely recommend.
