Everytime I go into the shop for fish I always see dead fish in the tanks , or fish on the verge of dying I just think that if your trying to sell fish and have a good standard of fish the dead ones need to be removed right away. I’ve had tanks for over 15 years and my dad has kept them for over 35+ years. I know it’s not a “ fish only “ shop and the staff obviously have a lot more things to do but even a counter in the fish corner would take a lot of stress of the front staff, having to wait for a person to come over , get the bags and try and net the fish out with a net then write the code of the fish on the bag , then take the bag to the till takes time. I’m sure there is someone who specialises in the fish corner and maybe they were not in today but I’m leaving my review to maybe help or improve the circumstances of the fish. The ammonia the dead fish leave in the tank especially if they are left over night could be fatal to other fish. Hope this helps.

A nice big store. Very friendly staff and very tidy shop. A huge selection of dog related products but not so much for cats although still a good selection. Live fish, guinea pigs, rabbits,hamsters etc

Yeah it's a lovely place for all you're pet needs. The staff are friendly and helpful, there's plenty of parking on any given day and the price is competitive. I only really go there for my cats stuff so don't really know what the other services on offer are like? But locally I've not heard any bad things. ????&????

The small pets section is very poorly stocked (as usual before the pandemic even occurred) and the staff didn't seem too bothered about restocking the shelves or helping out when I asked about a couple of items I needed for my hamster... I will stick to the pets at home near Croydon in future, the staff are far more helpful and the store is well stocked!

Very nice place, profesional staff, kindly refusing my intention to buy a fish as I wasn't going to be its owner (was planning to gift it to someone who only has a female of that kind). Although it was a bit frustrating at first, I came to understand their point of view in no time :)
One downside: not a single smile in sight.

AWFUL DO NOT TAKE DOG HERE TO GET GROOMED. Explained my dog is scared hasn't been to groomers before,they didn't know what they was doing. Rude staff done nothing but tell me the manager needed to be there but they went home. Why wasn't they booked to cut my dog as I already explained to them on phone he was scared. They sarcastically said sorry over and over for there mistake and didn't even offer me my 15 pound deposit back as they couldn't cut his hair.

The place is disorganised, with stock missing or of very poor quality. Some of the staff members wore no masks and clients were allowed to go in without wearing any masks either. Physical distancing wasn't respected either. Well, at least the dog was allowed in and he enjoyed a pee.

Atrocious but polite experience with the vets. It took 3 phone calls to get a decent amount of information from them and they seemed intent on informing me about a national emergency. Would probably be better if they closed until it was over.
However........Excellent experience in the store. The staff were helpful and friendly as well being informative. Would return for the shop but not the vets

My little one has been going there since a pup and he’s now 6 years old and I just can’t fault anyone there. Always helpful, always friendly and always with a smile. They even booked my little one to see the vet in 24 hours amid this pandemic has been needed antibiotics and to tackle an infection. Amazing!

Unhelpful and don't have a clue about anything they sell if I am honest. They don't care about the animals I have been in there and animals have no food and water the animals are dirty with little food. And they think they know stuff about animals nope better getting a book or going to the vets. Standing around waiting for someone to help or to ask someone something no one around. Horrible queues at certain times of the day with only one member of staff manning till. Where are the staff.

I always love this store because it's big and airy, plenty of space so you can shop comfortably and move around nicely even in busy periods without feeling you're bumping into people. The people at the cashier are always patient and friendly - it also has pretty much everything that's on the website I've tried to shop online but always know I can go here to find it and see it in person if I'm never not sure. Long lines for the lockdown at the weekend but the guy at the door is friendly, and no animals are out In lockdown but before lockdown it was cute to see all the animals preparing for a new home xx

One of the bigger stores with big selection for pet needs. The store didn't have what I was looking for (discontinued in store) but the staff member did try see if there was in other stores. Landed up getting alternative. Also tried the groom room again. The Groom room is a massive improvement since last time I came here. The new management seem to really want to get this salon back to how it was before. I tried this salon again since hearing better feedback from couple of friends after having bad experience with the previous staff who didn't care much about what they were doing. The staff member with the pink hair was very welcoming and friendly. She reassured me my dog would be well looked after and enjoy the experience after I had hesitations given previous experience.
I was more than happy to rebook another appointment with her when asked and my dog took a liking to her. She certainly knows her stuff and displays confidence when explaining the different services.
Will start coming back here for sure.
