Friendly and family-like environment. The two women are especially very helpful and give nice advice. The prices are varied and I appreciate having a physical shop to have some conversation and build some kind of network with other pet owners.

Rude owner who is purposely unhelpful!
When my partner asked him where some dog chews were, he responded by SHOUTING!
Items are old in this shop too, as they have too much unwanted stock. Staff are always leaving and the owner is unable to retain staff. It's sad that all the helpful staff have moved on. One particular member of staff who has stayed on doesn't actually do anything and is unwilling to move and help a customer. I've now moved all our pet purchases to pets at home. Staff are friendly and helpful there. You'd think the owner is doing you are favour when you go into the shop. He doesn't value his staff or customers. Sad as it was a good pet shop years ago!

Never call when they say they will. Ordered a product in and ordered the complete wrong one after me waiting 2 weeks of being told it will come in in 2 days. Just bought my own else where so save the hassle of dealing with this store.

A change of staff can make all the difference. A year ago the reviews were reflecting the way the staff were but now the shop is tidier and such a nice atmosphere. A pleasure to shop and get the right advice. Keep up the good work.

They always give great advice. They have been great at helping with my cat. They have a fantastic range of products, often having stock that the Pets at Home store don't have.

Since the change of staff the company isn't what is used to be. Seen one member of staff following customers around randomly. Not what it used to be won't be going back. Some stock is also costing more then in a supermarket sometimes even double. It also says something when the owner of the business posts a bias review of his own company

Ordered raw dog food was told it would be in on Friday but it wasn’t but they had the incorrect number but could of emailed. Then I bought alternative food and toys And was charged double had to go back and get a refund but il have to go back again to get more food and the refund as it hasn’t refunded to my card.
