Yes Dav, Baldocks most senior technician has sorted a problem on my Renault Vel Satis, he is not just a 'mechanique par exellence' but a pure and BRILLIANT engineer. Thank you Dav and Baldocks of Wivelsfield, you all have the right attitude.
I could have gone to Wilsons Renault Epsom , no fear, they always use excuses, do not know what they are doing and charge through the roof !!

Appalling let down like Nicole. Do NOT trust this garage - after driving 70 miles to see a car via appt made only 2 days earlier the grim sales asst Victoria told they had sold the car!
Not even a phone call. My mobile was available but she said she sent text which I would not have seen and was too late.
Confirmed my poor view of dealers - this was more like Arthur Daley than KIA!

It was a pleasure to deal with Peter at Baldocks from start to finish. He even came in on his day off to take me for a test drive after my wife has dealt with him earlier in the week. Buying a car can be stressful but Baldocks made this a great experience. I would recommend Baldocks to anyone looking for a great quality car at a great price.

I did not have a particularly good experience trying to purchase a car from this garage.
Tom was quite pushy from the start- ringing me up to ask if i wanted to put a deposit down on a car I hadn't even seen or driven yet.
I then had 1 test drive with my husband and we discussed that the car was out of our price range but that we liked it. There were some issues with the car at this point e.g. door handle sticking and car getting stuck in reverse- not a great start for a test drive! These were fixed by my next visit.
I then arranged to have a second test drive 2 days later- with a view to buying it if there was going to be some movement on the price. (The salesemen made it seem like there would be some negotiation to be had). Whilst driving this time, a warning light came on- which couldn't be explained either. We also got lost on the test drive because the salesmen does not know the area!
At this point I was hesitant about the car but still liked it and was interested to see if I could afford it. However, the negotiations were very unprofessional and put me off completely. There wasn't really any movement on the price and I was accused of wasting this guys time because I could not pay the full price for it (even though I had been honest from the start about having a lower budget). He actually directly told me I had wasted his time. As if I was giving up my spare time to test drive cars just for fun????
He was even trying to push me to pay for the rest of the cost with a credit card- which I didn't want to do. The car was not worth that much money anyway!
After all of this, he then just got up from the desk (did not even shake my hand) and left in an actual strop- like a teenager!
I have had many encounters with car salesmen over the last month or so and no one was rude like this. I couldn't believe how he had spoken to me.
I would not recommend buying from this dealership after the way I was treated.

My partner went to look at a car on Saturday afternoon, he really liked it and asked to reserve to car so I could go and look with him on Sunday morning. As we were on our way to buy it first thing on Sunday, we got a call from Jack who told is they had sold the car which we had asked him to reserve?! There was no apology or heads up. We'd already got a quote for the insurance on the car and told another dealer we weren't interested.Terrible service.

Got my cars first service here under the Kia service scheme ie you pay on new car purchase either 3 or 5 years worth of servicing.
Having previously had my old kia serviced here i knew what to expert....but things can change....fortunately the standards had been maintained and all was very good indeed.
Pricing is transparent and explained, i have never yet felt that any unecessary work was undertaken or advised.
Reception staff are polite and helpful.
I believe you can arrange a wait service or get a lift back home from them as i do, leaving the car with them, they then contact you and usually offer a lift so you can pick up your car.
Incidently my car has always had an external wash on pick up...nice...

They did my mot. They said a brake light had gone. I know it was working when I dropped it off and it was not working when I picked it up. I know this because the car has a bulb warning function on the driver information system, which I checked for malfunctions as I dropped it off. Also, they quoted £150 labour to replace a broken coil spring. I questioned the quote and they told me it was a labour intensive job. I know different. Jack, remove wheel and it's 's 2 bolts. It took me less than 20mins start to finish on my drive. For a garage with a ramp it's less than 10 mins guaranteed. £150 for a 10min job? This is the type of thing that unscrupulous businesses do to fleece people with no mechanical experience.
Do yourself a favour. Try somewhere else.
BTW SE Tyres did a rear coil spring on my other car, which is rear wheel drive and much more tricky, for £40. They did a good job too.
