Cannot recommend Third Circle enough! Fantastic facilities at the studio and in my opinion the most competitive prices around the local area by far. I've had the absolute pleasure to record here a couple of times now and work with James who is an incredible producer and engineer. He has a ridiculous amount of knowledge and is honestly a wizard behind the desk, especially when it comes to drum sound!! On top of all of this he is just a really lovely dude who will always put your music first until you're happy with the final result.

Great sounding and comfortable rehearsal space and incredibly high quality recording studio. Independently run with passion. I’ve always been incredibly happy with the results of my sessions here! Lots of effort goes into the details to make sure everything sounds awesome! Convenient location and very reasonably priced rehearsals make it a great place to rehearse regularly. Highly recommend!

This studio is a real hidden gem. James the engineer's production skills are absolutely top flight - he's fast, accurate and extremely professional. He manages to get a sound that much more expensive studios would struggle to match. Especially brilliant at recording drums, but actually pretty damn amazing at recording everything else as well - and I mean everything - from musical saws to the sound of being dragged through a hedgerow in 3D, Third Circle creates fantastic sounds and consistently high quality. James goes the extra mile and provides excellent value for money.

With excellent state of the art recording facilities and great space for rehearsal too. Excellent service. I took advantage of the 'drummers' promotion. James is a first class engineer: uncomplicated setup (for the player), meticulous attention to detail, and most importantly the best drum sound I've ever heard in a Sussex studio... Extremely highly recommended.

My band recorded an EP here in the Autumn, four tracks in three days.
They came out brilliantly, really really happy. James was super-professional and got exactly the sounds we wanted, their gear was top spec, and the rooms sounded great. Really happy with the mix. Will definitely record here again.

My Band GLOVE have only record with James at Third Circle! Not only does he know how to record better than most people and most studios he really seems to care about the music, the band and all the people in it. You will be in safe hands. This guy is the drum man. He knows drums like no one else. The amount of time and effort put into just getting that sweet drum sound we are all after, goes above and beyond. I can big this studio up enough. Just try it for yourself.

Myself and my band have been using this very accommodating studio for a few years now.
Great, spacious, clean rehearsal rooms with top quality equipment.
Seconds from the train station.
I wouldn't recommend any other studio in the West Sussex area.
Also, speaking as a drummer, James is absolutely the go to guy for drum recording.

I have been using rehearsal rooms and studios to record in the brighton area since 2008.
Having recorded with James last year was the best experience I’ve had,such great attention to detail the end product of the recordings just sound fantastic.
Also used for a rehearsal space many times and I highly recommend for any band/musician.
All around lovely bloke, so knowledgeable will always use third circle for my musical needs.
Oh and a very reasonable price too!

The most relaxing environment and perfect for bringing your ideas to life. The engineer is the nicest, and easiest producer to work with and the live room has more than you need with high end equipment AND AIR CONDITIONING!

Excellent acoustics, great equipment, and natural daylight too! We keep coming back to Third Circle because we sound better when we play there. Being able to hear clearly what we are all playing makes rehearsals so much more productive.

Great rehearsal space, has good equipment and PA. The best band sound that I have achieved in a rehearsel room around Brighton and Hove areas. James is well organised and on it- if something goes wrong he will get it fixed or replaced asap. Very reasonably priced too. I totally recommend it!

We used to practice here years ago before it was Third Circle, having then gone to Brighton Electric and now back to Third Circle I have to say that it is an amazing place for both rehearsing and recording. A really nice space, always sounds great when we are practising. James is also super helpful when it comes to recording. We have done a few sessions here now and the result is always fantastic! Third Circle has to be one of the best value for money studios in Brighton!

I don't think any band, of any level, could ask for a better sound engineer to record with than James. Even if you're not quite sure what to sound like, he'll sort it out. And even if you do, he'll probably sort that out too. Fantastic sounding building/live room, great amps, excellent mic techniques and set up, and that sofa's well comfy too, god damn. Run by a top dude, mix architect and purveyor of thicc tones - GO HERE, you will not be let down !

Third Circle Rehearsal and Recording is really really great! James was so helpful in helping us craft our single and the sound we got was perfect - couldn't reccomend more! James' techniques are so well thought out, really focusing on get a great sound from the room, micing the drums up in a spectacular way (they sound beautiful) leaving little to do in mixing as everything already sounds fab!
