My 80 year old mums washing machine broke whilst we’re on lockdown, she
was worried that nowhere was open to get it fixed or buy a replacement.
Spoke to Nigel at Allentown Appliances who arranged for Craig to come round and have a look at it.
Craig practised proper social distancing measures at all times,wearing a mask and gloves.
Craig diagnosed the problem straight away and advised that a new one would be her best option.
Ordered a new machine with Nigel at a very competitive rate with free installation, they even take
your old machine away all included in the price!
I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the area looking for great friendly service
and reasonable prices.

I called in to the shop and after speaking to a knowledgeable member of staff I purchased a washing machine at a price that included delivery, fitting and removal of my old machine. There was a slight initial problem after fitting but Craig came within a few hours. He was friendly and efficient and rectified the problem. I highly recommend this company.

Really happy with the service. Rang them up for a washer-dryer that didn't seem to be heating. They gave me a worst case estimate for replacement of the heater elements.
Came out the next day, tested the heaters and found no problems, identified a cooling fan as seized, cleaned it up and got it moving again. Charged us only a call out fee. Very happy.

Just called the shop this morning to enquire about a call out to a washer dryer that had a fault. Explained the situation to him and he talked me through it over the phone. He also added that if I couldn't rectify the problem myself he would come out and look at it for an exceptionally reasonable charge. We followed his advice and the fault was rectified immediately. Saving me money and a new washer. Thanks very much!

Good place to get your Dyson vacuum repaired or serviced.
Took our DC25 in because the head had stopped working, including a switch. The shop fixed it for £60.
A quick look on Amazon shows that the part costs between £40 and £50, so pretty good value overall.
My only gripe is that it look well over two weeks to get the vac turned around and a bit more communication in between would have been appreciated.
Still, friendly, helpful staff and would definitely use again in the event of a vac malfunction!

Excellent Service. Needed a Washing Machine belt in a hurry after all the other spares shops had closed. They had what I needed, didn't rip me off and had the part ready for collection at bang on closing time when others would have shut up shop and gone home.

I have had quite a few items from them and you know I will be going back to them. They are polite and when they deliver they give you a time they are coming. I will be going back to them if ever I need anything electrical. They are cheaper than anywhere else and wont go anywhere else.
