After not even booking an appointment I repeatedly was forced into a call out. Which I had cancelled twice. The man was rude, did not imply any of the checks that the company exercised. All for nothing. Poor customer service and lacking in empathy. I would not recommend for elderly customers or people who struggle to say no, as they will railroad you.

I had a new cable 2 boosters one on the Ariel 1 on the back of the television £274.00.The signal lasted a couple of weeks,I made a appointment on the 27th of August,I was told the appointment would be the 2nd of September am,waited in all morning on sign,phoned after 12.00 I was assured that he was running late.16.00 I phone again,they said we sent you a text at 15.22 to say sorry can't make it today,phone and make appointment for tomorrow,I made a appointment for the next day 3rd for after 14.00.I phoned at 14.15 just to make sure that they were still coming.Not today was the answer your appointment is for anytime on Monday 7th.I am fuming.THEY ARE A CON Only interested in new customers.Im contacting Trading standards,I don't think this is acceptable.£274.00 is a lot of money for nothing.I have had a bad signal now for weeks

Rung up for a ariel fault on fathers ariel,said 90 pound to fix 130 to change for a new one,so agreed to visit the next day,engineer came and changed ariel,my father is 85 and they ripped him for 445 quid,there is no way on this earth that ariel is worth that amount of money, 100 at most for parts and an hours labour,avoid like the plague,total rip off merchant's. Update.after complaining to company got 155 pound back,still expensive but better,they would be a lot better charging a reasonable fee,instead of overcharging in the first place,would never use again.

Probably not the cheapest, and certainly make a VERY good profit on the fitting of the equipment. BUT - they were very responsive and polite. So what: I paid a premium for someone to arrive same-day, pretty much within 45 minutes of me calling about Freeview Terrestrial Channel availability on my BT TV box. (This has been going on for months, and re-tuning over and over would produce 0-16 channels, if lucky). Luke arrived, very confident, gave good advice about dispensing with existing signal booster if I was only really using terrestrial TV in one room. Fitted new loft aerial. Maybe 30 minutes work. 144 channels now. Wife will be happy. That's the main concern. You can highly likely get cheaper supply/fit, but I wanted prompt service and resolution from pleasant people, and that's what I got.

I needed an aerial connection in my spare room. There were a few options on how best to achieve this. I called HDS at 10:30 to ask for help, after just an hour their engineer John arrived kitted out in his PPE. We discussed the options and agreed the best way forward. Two hours later and the job was complete. Awesome! I can not speak highly enough of John, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and meticulously clean. All this at a very good price too. Would not hesitate to recommend HDS.

Phoned the office on Saturday and was told someone would call on Monday to give us a quote 10 am Dave arrived and we said what we was wanting dave gave us a quote and said he could carry out the work today we agreed to have the work done 2 and half hours all work done and to a very good standard would definitely recommend this company and its employees????

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have cancelled and rescheduled a total of 7 times in less than 3 weeks! Unbelievable attitude when speaking to technicians on the phone when querying why they’re not coming yet again (genuinely tried to pass blame onto us subtly), cannot be trusted at all. They just tried to rebook us for the 8th time but we’ve decided we’ll go somewhere else now. The ladies on the phone have been nice enough but that’s unfortunately masking the shoddiness of this company. Save your time and use a different company so you won’t be messed about. AVOID!

I had bought a new tv for my bedroom but couldn’t get any freeview. Visit arranged. Got a phone call saying the engineer would arrive between 30 minutes and one hour. This was 11am. I had hospital appointment in afternoon so has stressed the need for morning appointment. An hour and a half later I phoned to ask where the engineer was. Told he was ten minutes away. Half an hour later he arrived sat in his van for ten minutes He checked the Ariel lead and said I needed a new coax. £75 plus vat. I said no way that’s ridiculous. The office phoned me and finally agreed on £50 plus vat. Still a lot but better than original quote. Knowing I was in a hurry he was on his phone for ages He said he was on to his mum inSpain The guy was friendly enough but so messy !! 1. Drilled the existing hole leaving a mess on windowsill and garden table 2. Asked to wash his hands in bathroom. Used toilet and left seat up and screwed up towel and flung on radiator 3. Gave him a drink which he left on garden table 4 Left both gates wide open 5. Sat on my bed in his work clothes whilst he did payment and receipt Not sure if the price was reasonable or not. Seems a lot for a bit of coax and deduct time he actually spent doing the job maybe twenty minutes a high hourly rate. Won’t use them again but reading some reviews I got off lightly

outstanding fitter- Billy Hicks. His first day working for the company. Awful weather conditions snow/ sleet on slate roof. Went to great lengths to sort out the signal problems when re-fitting aerial to new location. Top bloke. Thanks

Charged £142.30 for a part costing less than £20 (checked later) half an hour indoor work....The part wasn't at fault in any case as the problem still persisted afterwards and over 2 months later still does!!! Rip offs

They cancelled first appointment.. Then a engineer arrived said I need a new splitter, without even going on the roof.. I asked the engineer how much it would be he went to his van. A lady called me and said 102 pound plus vat... Rouge traders comes to mind.. Avoid...

Appaling service. Failed to turn up, rows with unprofessional and rude staff to arrange another visit and engineer who falsely claimed I needed a new satellite dish when a simple repair was all that was required. After final straw of huge quote and demand for 50% deposit if I wanted work done next day (not same day despite their claims) and I sacked them off. Got a local pro in instead who did the work in 10 mins at a tiny fraction of the cost that Home Digital Services wanted to charge me. Avoid, you have been warned.

Your review Chap arrived looking scruffy, in a Garage Installations van. Told me I needed a new dish and would work out a quote in his van. He merely posted an A4 price list through the door and returned to his van. While I was wondering exactly what I was going to need from the price list, and how much it was going to cost I had a call from Head Office. When I queried why they were ringing from Nottingham, when I thought they were based on the south coast the chap was very rude and said he was sick of 'people like me querying everything when they were risking their lives, and had so many people to see'. He said the driver would just leave me a quote and slammed the phone down. Then the driver just drove off!

The man turned up on time as expected and fitted an aerial. What I'm not very impressed by is that the cable wasnt cut to the correct length, the excess being drapped along the roof. Also I was expecting the old aerial to be taken away, instead I found it laying in the garden. For the price I paid I really think the service could have been better.

Rang company yesterday, some1 was straight out(lucky me), he never even looked at my aerial, told me I need a new 1 and some1 would ring me in a minute or two while he waited outside, some1 rang and tried to take advantage of the lockdown situation, told me the aerial I needed was going to cost me &£294 plus vat, told him I couldn't afford that and he started telling me his engineer was going to start and asked how much I could afford, told him I need to speak to my oh and he wouldn't give me a chance to, kept saying if the engineer drives away he'd take the deal off the table, he was extremely rude saying you just can't help some ppl so I hung up, turns out I didn't need a new aerial mine had just come out of bracket and was fixed by some1 free of charge, disgusting company trying to take advantage of what they thought was a middle aged vulnerable woman, KEEP AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL COMPANY!!!

Arranged for the engineer to visit after 2pm. Promised a call or text one hour before the visit. No call, no text. Enquired at 4pm. Promised engineer was on his way. Called company at 6pm and asked why the engineer couldn't text me to let me know he wasn't coming. Simple enough you would think. Offered an appointment next day but I cant afford to waste another day. All that was needed was a text.

Unfortunately I've had an experience very similar to that of many others. Rang 1st thing Monday morning & was told an engineer would ring before attending. 14.45 no phone call so I rang them & was told they worked til 16.30. I had a call at 16.35 to say they wouldn't make it so I booked for the following day 15.40 I had a call to tell me engineer was on the way. Today is Thursday & I'm still waiting no call text. Needless to say I've had someone else do the job. Avoid this company

KEEP AWARE..!!! Rang & made appointment there said would ring 1 hour before hand got a call around 10am saying engineer would be a hour. No sign of him waited allday no sign. Absolute disgrace . My mam is a 80 year old pensioner so had to have another boring nite without any tv ????. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID.

Absolutely appalling service! An engineer was able to come out to me 5 days after I called to book an appointment. This was for very simple job to remove an old tv ariel which was damaged in the wind and loose. I was given no appointment time and no rough job estimate. However, I was aware this would be a simple job to remove the ariel. The only reason I could not do it myself is due to being pregnant. The engineer eventually turned up at 4.45pm, he was very unprofessional and seemed very inexperienced. He stated there was no possible way to get to my ariel without scaffolding, which he said would cost a minimum of £120, plus the price of the actual job, which he remained unable to quote. He continued to tell me that my roof and tiles were in a terrible condition and that if anyone were to try to go on the roof, the roof would simply collapse. He then attempted to call his boss, who he stated would not believe him about the condition of my roof/ariel, before leaving having completely wasted my day. I immediately phoned another company who came at 08.30 the next day and removed my ariel, without scaffolding. The entire job took no more than 20 minutes including setting up, cutting up the old ariel and disposing of it. I was charged £45 and this engineer commented on the very good condition of my roof and tiles, stating no work was required on the roof apart from cleaning the gutters. My strong advice is not to use home digital services. They clearly try to take advantage of customers and hugely over price/ over state the work that is actually required.

The very best service that I have ever had. Phoned at 8.45 to get garage door repaired needed new cables and pulleys by 11.45 job had been completed and door working as good as new.The engineer who did the job (Jason) is a credit to the company .I would recommend this company 100%

Booked an engineer to replace the satellite dish or fit a freeview aerial replaced satellite dish attempted to tune the box in could only receive German channels the engineer left. 1 week later still no joy on getting anyone back to sort this out I’m on the 5th or 6th cancelled appointment. !!! They rang again to cancel and stated it’s going to be next week now!!! DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Spoke to this company before 9.00 am this morning, specified that only at home in the morning told would 'definitely' come out this morning. Mid morning call that Toby and his boss on way (haha) still waited. Called company at 12.45 as no one had arrived and told Toby and his boss would be at property within 15 minutes - after 20 minutes no show called again. Obviously they were not going to arrive spoke to someone who said that I was a 'slot in' and that they would fit me in on Monday. Sorry, but would rather pay more than wait around since 9.00 am for an appointment which was not going to happen.

VERY helpful & personable young man (James G) called as arranged for quotation for outdoor aerial after years struggling with poor reception in my first floor flat. I can suffer from anxiety and get very stressed at times with workmen etc coming to my home but James put me at ease and was understanding of my situation, resulting in me getting aerial installed quickly & efficiently same day, highly reccomend .

Booked at 12pm....said someone would come in the afternoon....rang back at 2pm and 3pm as it was getting dark...but no one registered I called at 12pm and booked???? Anyway at 5pm...pitch dark outside realised no one was coming .. Called back to be told engineers don't work Sunday so had to organise for another company to come Sunday ..won't be using these again ...not happy.
