I’ve been with Zen for 14 years and they are fantastic and I’m only a residential customer so not spending a lot. They win award after award and are always top of any customer rated tables. Here are a few reasons: Like for like their charges have never gone up and they promise that while you are a customer the price you pay will not change, it may even go down and has done for me. Their customer service is wonderful. I rang with a small issue and spoke to someone at once. I thought the matter was closed as it was most likely the problem was at my end. Later that night someone called me to chat over the problem as they had been investigating. He was on the phone for ages, explaining the problem – it was a rare intermittent problem at my end and he obviously cared more than me. A few months ago, I rang for advice about a more up to date router. I bought and installed my current one myself. They immediately offered me a new, free router, as I have been a loyal customer, it arrived next day. I had fully expected to pay, so I gave the money I would have spent to charity. An ageing neighbour, who I also got to use Zen was having problems. So I rang Zen on her behalf. He spent a lot of time deducing that the problem was likely to be her very old laptop – he spent simply ages helping me to check it out and configure it the best way possible and it was nothing to do with Zen.

Excellent broadband. Proud to support a local company. I was with one of the big 4 prior and I was always going to leave, but ended up breaking contract early due to no connection most of the time. Joined Zen after reading a " Which" article, and looking at you tube vids of the MD. I like the philosophy. I was still apprehensive until I got my broadband set up. I have had no issues, the broadband is great, and I emailed the MD directly to tell him so, and got a reply same day. Well done ???? Not the cheapest, but sometimes " if you buy cheap, you buy twice" . Personally, I'm delighted.

Great ISP and they support net neutrality so I've always favoured them over other ISPs. They also have superb customer service with staff that are allowed to be themselves and help their customers as they see fit. Being one of the tech guys to family and friends, I always recommend Zen. Just go and check out customer reviews for the other ISPs you might be thinking of using; most funnel money in to marketing over customer service, and are against net neutrality as it benefits them financially at everyone's expense of freedom.

We switched to Zen on the 22nd February, we had a confirmation email telling us they were working on sending our router out to us and would get a dispatch email soon. Its been 16 days and we have had no more contact. We have sinced moved house and have no internet and are having to hotspot off our phones which is making working basically impossible as cannot do video calls or a call without a lag. I have rung your phone number twice a day minimum and have been on hold for over half an hour every time. Really bad start when switching to a new provider and really concerned why we haven't had a) our router b)any contact c)cant make contact. Please can you rectify?!

Have been with Zen for broadband and landline now for several years. Recently upgraded the router to a Fritzbox as part of the contract and the every room service which has much improved the signal quality and speed around the house. We had a couple of problems and each time getting through to tech support took between 3 and 10 minutes which I think is superb considering everyone is in lockdown - when you get through to tech support they are excellent - I run a tech helpdesk myself and would gladly hire any of the tech staff working for zen - they have excellent customer service skills, excellent tech knowledge and really know how to deliver a great customer experience. They diagnosed the issue we were having with broadband using a test from their side and also gave helpful advice in simple plain English. Well done Zen - if you keep up this level of support and reliability we wont be looking anywhere else! Thank you to all your team.

We have just transferred to Zen from Sky. I remember Zen from quite a few years back now when they supplied the Internet service for our small office. I also remember how highly our software and computer engineer spoke of them. So becoming thoroughly sick of Sky for various reasons I thought I would change our service over to them. The switchover date went fine with no issues whatsoever. The Fritzbox router arrived a week or so before and set up was straightforward. I needed to speak to their customer service staff about a direct debit issue and got through quickly and was dealt with courteously and professionally. We are achieving download and upload speeds broadly in line with what was quoted for the service we have chosen. The cost is about £18 cheaper than what Sky were offering for their faster broadband package, which didn’t better by much what we are achieving with Zen. At this stage all we can say is we are delighted with the service that Zen are offering us and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others

What has happened to Zen? I've been trying to arrange two relatively simple changes to my landline telephone number and a change in my domain tag since 4 August 2020 (nearly seven weeks ago) and still have no confirmation that these requests have been acted upon. I understand that remote working might be a factor due to the pandemic, but the lack of communication from a company that specialises in this area is pitiful. If zero stars was an option, I would have selected it based on my recent experience.

you can not believe the issues we had with this company since we hired them. We can not leave zen because we had 1 year contract but in fact internet never worked properly. they always made quick fix and issue is back few hours or days later. if you leave a review on trustpilot they will report it in order to get it removed , and that is why they got only good reviews so PLEASE BE AWARE they not provided a good service, for us always being a nightmare and also when wanted to leave Zen a manager call us and told us we dont have to pay any fee as we made 15 claims of not working internet in 7 months of contract!!! more than 2 per month!! so they were agreed to not pay a penny but now all is different and they are claiming us 83 £ for ending our contract earlier!!! so we will make formal complaints seeing they said one day one thing and next day a different thing so be aware about that, we are living around Camden and not working on this area!!!!!!!

Sub-standard service. We've had a fault open with our G-Fast line for nearly two years, and not a single person at Zen knows what G-Fast even is. We pay £52 a month for terrible quality internet (minimum 2 drops every hour) and they refused to let us drop down to the band below despite the fact they fully admitted that G Fast wasn;t working properly and they have no diea how to fix it. Since Richard Tsang handed over the reigns of his company to a corporate Money Man in 2018, the entire company has gone to pot.

I've been with Zen for many years. I joined them because although they weren't the cheapest option, by all accounts, they hd one of the best records for customer service. And they've always been helpful and responsive. I'm a dyslexic and technophobic OAP, which means that I find most technology bewildering at best. When Zen sent out an email a day or two ago essentially telling customers to let them know if they're having problems, I emailed to say not only all of the above, but that I was diabetic , with a dying computer, having trouble trying to get food delivered and that if they were needing to lower the level of their service in order to ensure that they could meet this increased demand, I could find it very difficult. Imagine my surprise that a) my email actually reached Zen, and b) a lovely Zen staff member called Kevin just rang me to see whether I was all right. I was absolutely astonished, and incredibly grateful. I'd give Zen 10 stars if I could. Friends have often said to me that they have a much better deal on their internet service provision, and I always tell the that they may have a cheaper deal, but it's certainly not a 'better' one. Zen have always come through for me.

Just became a customer of Zen after signing up with their £29.95 Fibre optic package. Received FritzBox router right on time, and was switched exactly on the date promised. The setting up of the router was probably on of the easiest I have ever done, and I have done quite a few. The router itself is excellent and of great quality. Within an hour of installing and going on the internet, my speed increased eightfold for download and my upload by fifteen times. By my perception, Zen has hit the nail well and truly on the head with the service they provide, specifically their focus on the customer. This is even more obvious when compaired to my previous provider. I sincerely hope Zen continue on this path.

Attentive and friendly support. No matter how obscure our question, the Support Team had the answer and showed amazing diligence in sorting out any issues we had. Contacting Zen was straightforward we never, in over 20 years, had to wait more than a brief moment whether we were calling from London or via Skype from overseas. This of course is probably owing to the robust quality of the software in the first place (which therefore requires less support) but without doubt also to the training and professionalism of the Support Team who answered all questions immediately and solved issues every time. Customer for over a year. They are overpriced, have slow speed (worked for a month to try and improve), Bad Customer Service (tried cancelling and was met with very irritable staff), Dated Customer Portal (hard to navigate and slow just like their internet speeds). Very dissapointing.

Check the speed regularly...I've been paying for 60+ but NEVER get over 20. Very expensive service. We are leaving for cheaper, faster FTTP from Virgin. I have no idea why they get awards, though they are for various things that no doubt are based on customer surveys or clicks or whatever. It is a very pricey provider and I see no reason for their premiums.

Expensive, Slow, Poor Customer Service, Dated. Expensive, slow speeds, poor customer service, very dated web interface. Was told Fibre wasn't available when moving house and they put me onto a broadband contract for 1 year. After checking sometime after Fibre is available but through other providers. Rather than roll my contract over when moving house they started new contract locking me into it. My new Broadband connection was under 2mb download most evenings. I was promised 20mb. Worked with tech support for almost a month and did not find a solution.Gave up. The web portal for managing your services and account is extremely dated. Rude customer service on phone. On one occasion the lady ended up saying "I cant help you mate". They advertise themselves as putting customers first but clearly this isnt the case anymore. Avoid.

I was with Zen for years with my business website. But after they leaked my personal business information and account information I decided to leave. They have since cutoff my business website and emails and are delaying my domain transfer due to a back log even though this takes seconds to do I beleive I should be priority due to their errors.

Zen have always provided us with reliable broadband for our small business. Recently they responded very kindly to a situation whereby an error on my part resulted in a early termination fee from a phone line transfer to Zen from BT. Zen listened to my concerns (thank you Saffron) and were kind enough to waive their fee. This has made a tremendous difference to us as a small business. I can recommend them very highly.

Really dissapointed with Zen, I have ordered a new phone line and broadband on the 20\11\2018. Despite waiting in all day for engineers on 4 occasions I am still no further forward with the order. I now have to wait untill the 14th for an update. This will be the second upate I have waited for. Zen, if your reading this, this is piss poor customer service.

The broadband is fast and reliable. Yes it's a little more expensive than the larger suppliers however that's fine with me as you get better service from the connection itself to the fact you speak to people in the UK who have the ability to use their judgement and experience to assist with your query rather than the script you get with other ISPs.

The problem is that although Zen resell these products and service they are ill equipped and certainly under-trained in dealing and supporting them. The knowledge gap is an immense chasm on these products and is astounding. If you don’t know how to support them you shouldn’t be selling them. I have reflected on this a fair bit as you will understand, and the problem is that reselling a mobile phone service, Zen really are just like one of those little mobile phone shops with no real power to actually do anything. In essence they are glorified order takers who earn a commission for getting the sale but bring no real value. In fact, by using Zen you are in effect having to use a raft made out of splintered wood with no oars and rusting spiked nails sticking out to get to the other side of the river where as EE have the boat that would have taken you to the other side and kept you dry on the journey if you’d gone direct. Their so called “wrap around service” is the snake oil salesman you pay before you see what you are crossing the river in. They are severely under skilled and ill-equipped for dealing with this situation and although management might have this ideal in their heads, in reality it is just a pipe dream.

Zen are in my opinion the UKs number one ISP. My connection has never gone down in the four years i've been a customer. Ringing customer services you speak to people who know what they are doing and are able to advise you correctly. You get what you pay for and Zen give you an excellent service.
