Nemita (apologies if I spelt your name incorrectly) has done a blow dry for me twice now and I have to say she is amazing. Not only does she listen to what you want she does it in so quickly. I am very fussy about my blowdrys but she gave it volume, bounce and it lasted me for 5 days and it still looked Thank you - Highly recommend!

A wait of only 10 mins (I went to triple 2 cafe next door) and one great hair cut later, and I was done! I've never had a bad hair cut here, and I've been visiting for years. The price is extremely good. Really friendly stylists too.

Thank you for the care and attention I received today at Celly's, Western Road: consultation, wash, colour, cut and finish. Everything was perfect! The head message alone is worrh a visit! At Celly's you will get an outstanding service for a small price. The staff are incredibly skilled and creative, and I am always impressed by how much attention they pay to their clients. Worried about C-19? Don't worry they have measures in place to keep you safe during the pandemic. You may have to wait a while so bring a book, read a book or meditate. The wait will be worth it!

Good value for money! £11 for each service. Once you've been here you just can't ever pay expensive salon prices again! And the other salons are nowhere near as friendly and approachable?

I was a bit sceptical having read some of the reviews but in my opinion they were totally unjust. Ofcourse you have to wait for your appointment, how convenient though knowing that you can just drop in and get your hair cut/coloured or blow dried on the same day. I had a lovely man called Arnold who coloured my roots. He took time to listen to me and suggested and was successful in achieving the result I was looking for. The coverage is amazing with not a grey hair in sight. The happy staff, a nice cup of tea, a great hair colour, lovely wash and fantastic blow dry and straighten. I will definitely be going back.

1.service is the worst in the world. The blonde lady basically told me to go away 3 times. I did try to go there 3 times in 2 days she kept saying it was busy and when I asked how long is the wait more or less she was very very annoyied and just replied they don’t give times. She proposed me to go to the Hove salon, literally meant to tell me “I am tired to work please leave”.
2.they don’t accept cards. An hairdresser in 2018 doesn’t accept cards. it Is unacceptable! I would like to know why..........
Is a franchising so no good,clear reasons to not take cards.
3.cheap but not so cheap. They treat you so badly you may expect the price is very low but actually colour,cut and blow dry may more than £40, similar to other normal hairdressers that treat you as a customer.
My advice is look at prices on line first then compare it to normal hairdressers in the city and if it’s still very convenient than give it a shot but be sure you will be treated like they are making you a favour to do your hair.

The hairdresser trimmed my dry hair. She didn't cut it shorter as I wanted but just took out some strands here and there. The result being that none of my friends believe I got it cut at all!
One star: at least she didn't ruin my hair, but I'll need another "proper cut" soon :(

Went in for a haircut this morning - wasn't expecting to be seen straight away and sure enough there were about 6 people in the waiting area so I asked the receptionist if I could do some banking in the time it took them to be processed. The reply was: "If it's 5 minutes, then yes. If more than 5 minutes, then no." When I enquired why, she explained: "Because I have written your name down (she hadn't - all she'd put down was CUT). Well, excuse me - with parking at a premium around George St, surely it wouldn't have hurt to let the customer come back in half an hour. Had been to Celly's before (not right before Christmas) and was always pleased with the service & quick turnaround, but after this I don't think I'll be going back. There's plenty of other hairdresser's around & in fact I did find one that let me do my banking and come back in time for my haircut.

To all staffs.
Need to learn how to treat customers. wasting my time to talked to Arnold who has been doing my hair for a while and tip him 5 pounds for his service. if you refused to do my hair should have said it on the phone when i asked what i need to be done. should not wasting my time to go over there. and repeated same the words as all your colleagues said to me and decided do not want ro do it. it is disgraceful.

Walked in and asked for a colour, trim and a blow dry. They asked if I had my colour done here before, I declined and mentioned that I had in Celly's Brighton before. One of the ladies said that she was going to check on the computer and asked me to sit down. I waited for 45 minutes at which point I was told that my name is not on their system and I cannot get my colour done. It would have been nice if they checked straight away and didn't make me wait all this time. Not very professional! Would never go there again, time wasters!

DONT GO - asked to get my hair cut about 2 inches off and they took 6 off , I now hate my hair. They also cut my hair very wonky meaning I have to go back to a different hairdressers and get more hair off. I’m very angry

I suffered prejudice, due to my Afro hair, I waited an hour, one of the officials told me that he could not answer because he was leaving, so two others were pushing each other and nobody did my hair. they were looking at each other and saying that they would not do the service.
