I have put 3 of my children through this nursery, everyone one of them has been well looked after. I receive lots of support and guidance and i see my children develop once they start. i think it takes a village to raise children and this is my village. Children have strong bonds with the staff and are warmly welcomed. Staff are always available to talk to if i need too and the nursery itself is always clean and tidy I do not know how the girls do it but they do an amazing job!!!!

I have worked at this nursery for the last 4 years, after leaving 2 previous day nursery very quickly - where both the working conditions and the level of care given to the children where what i believed to be sub-par. When interviewing for Angelz i instantly fell in love with the vibrancy and home like atmosphere it provided. Since day 1 i have always refereed to the nursery as a "Tardis" because it looks small from the outside but when you enter you see 2 extremely large floors which cater for all children needs and a very big garden space which is secluded from all of the town centre. When you are inside the nursery it is almost impossible to tell you are within the city centre as no noise is detectable-- Maybe that is just because the children are laughing to loud? :) When i met the owner i was intrigued by her experience she had with over 30 years experience in education. At this moment i knew that this was the home for me to learn and grow within my practise. Over the years i have been sent on so many different training courses to help better my practise and the owner/manager is always giving help and advise when needed. Children here are always the highest priority and by creating the most loving team i have ever been in this become so easy because the atmosphere is always calm and free from negativity. We offer fun and engaging activities which are always tailored to meet the children's age and stage of development and the main interest of the child. I love working at Little Angelz and i plan to be here for a very long time. I have been able to see children begin with from 4 months old and seeing them learn and grow and leave us to go to school at 5 years old. the bonds we make with these children are so strong and vital for them whilst they are within our care Safeguarding is always one of the highest priorities and we are known for having the strictest, air tight policies for people picking up/ collecting which means children are always 100% safe at all times

My granddaughter attends this nursery 3 times a week and is always very happy when I collect her. She is always telling me about the trips she goes on and about all of her friends at nursery. The staff are lovely and helpful and I have seen remarkable progress in my grand daughters learning, attention and behaviour since attending 6 months ago. Keep up the good work guys!

My child has been attending this nursery for a long time and I have only good things to say about the staff and the management. They really do the extra mile for both parents and children. Periodic trips, home cooked and tasty food, great boundaries and rewards system. We parents spend time in the nursery and are welcome to observe the staff who are always helpful and find the time to comfort, advice and support parents! I am very happy with the nursery and as they have an open door policy I think other parents should go and have a look personally. Ofsted rated this nursery good with outstanding features and I totally agree with them.

After working in many nurseries over the last 10 years, I can without a doubt, say that Little Angelz Day Nursery is the best! The staff are extremely dedicated to their work and the children. You can see this from the reaction of the children. I spent 3 years working daily with the team and meeting so many wonderful children. I still go back and help out as a volunteer and the team are like a family to me. The nursery is bright and colourful, the fabulous new renovated garden is spectacular and the hard work the team put in is really amazing. I've always believed in never working in a nursery, where I wouldn't leave my own children. I would have no worries or qualms about leaving my children in the care of Little Angelz staff. ????

Me and my partner recently came to view this nursery, we arrived at roughly 11:00 with no appointment so i was worried they were not going to be able to see me and i needed my child to start the following week. When we pressed the button to allow us to speak to the nursery we were very soon able to enter after someone had verified the intention of our visit. I was greeted by a member of staff who was very warm and inviting. She told me she was able to see us straight away and began to show us the nursery. She was able to talk about everything to do with the nursery and answered all of my questions. This is my first child and i was very nervous about leaving her in a nursery but this nursery made me feel at ease straight away. we arrived without notice and all the children looked so happy and confident, one ran up to me and my child and said a friendly "hello" i am now excited for my child to be started, i was reassured by the CCTV system that is in place and by how friendly all of the staff seem .

My daughter has been attending this nursery for years..the staff is really friendly and helpful, my daughter really enjoys the messy play and the homemade food, the environment in the setting it’s really friendly and my daughter always looks forward to go in and play. it is also in a great central location and the crèche session allows me to being able to drop my daughter and enjoy some shopping without having to worry about her being bored. I would definitely recommend this nursery to my friends and family’s any day... keep up the good work guys!

I went into this nursery to have a look around before registering my son. The nursery looks small but inside it is surprisingly HUGE. The rooms are bright and you can see how well the rooms are set up and the amount of activities they have. The staff were all very friendly, taking the time to talk me through all the work they do and reassure me as I was nervous about leaving my son for the first time. I was very pleased with all the work they do and how well you can see how your child progresses. My son has been here for 2 weeks and has already settled in so well. He is loving the new Frozen photo booth here and all his favourite superheroes in the entrance. He looks forward to nursery every morning. Thank you to all the staff here. My son loves Little Angelz

Lovely little nursery in town, it's nice to see family run nursery in town where children are more than just a number like quite often found with chain nurseries. My wife and I are very happy with our sons progress and he has just left this nursery to go to school in September. I will definitely be back during the holidays as he loves nursery very much and is sad to be leaving. The staff are lovely and friendly and welcoming and my son always talks about Ashley and Baldeep. Thank you Little Angelz!!! :)

After Ashleigh showed me and my partner around the nursery a couple of times originally. We found it to be warm, friendly and inviting, so we registered our child with them. He’s been there a few months now and I like that they learn things here and that it’s not just play time. You can really tell that all of the girls care about child learning and development as much as their safety and well-being. Ashleigh is really good at keeping me updated with his progress, as I am anxious about leaving him when I go to work, but I know he’s in great hands! Thanks girls, you are actual life savers ????

I am a secret shopper based in Coventry. I visited this nursery twice in the last 5 months at different times to ascertain the standards of work and the conformity to the national expectations. The first time I was greeted and showed the nursery by a professional and chatty employee. During the visit I met some of the other staff who were friendly and at ease. I noticed the cleanliness and the colourful displays and the vaste amount of resources. I counted the correct child:staff ratio in all the rooms I entered. My visit started at 11.50so I saw the children rearranging the rooms, sitting at the tabl s waiting for their dinner singing and being entertained by the staff. At the end of the visit I stopped outside where I was lucky enough to meet an employee on her break who offered information about the practice. She said she was happy to work there as she was offered many training opportunities, she was taught the best practice and the staff and the management were supportive. The second visit was last week when I went as a new parent looking for a space for my child. The experience was once again positive. This time I visited at 4.30 pm and met a few parents to whom I was introduced to. The general consensus is that the nursery provides excellent care for the children. One mum informed me the staff helped her children to eat regular and healthy food and that this had been an ongoing problem in their family. She was happy about this and she highly recommended the practice. After the visits I feel happy to recommend this little nursery where the passion and the nurturing is obvious just by walking in and observing the practice. I visit many nurseries as a part of my profession and I would definitely bring my child at Little Angelz if I lived in Leicester.

I have just finished a 4 week voluntary placement here at the nursery as part of my nursing degree. My university asked me to write about my experience at the nursery and my overall time there. I've loved it. The kids are charming and friendly. The staff are so warm. The job they do is amazing. Dont ever say nursery nurses are glorified babysitters. Even my assesor has observed the dedication and care the staff put in. Thanks again, Little Angelz. See you again in 3 months for my next placement.

I promised Ashleigh I would write a review for this fantastic nursery so I was shocked seeing the anonymous review left last night on here by an ex staff! I will only say haters will be haters and any successful place that goes out the way to help and support people will get the odd unhappy staff or parent! My daughter has been attending Little Angelz for 3 months and I have also been in volunteering as I needed a placement to complete my childcare qualification. The staff are professional, caring beyond words, the management are always in and ready to help explain and support anyone. The nursery operates at an outstanding level and not only when inspected. If a staff is not happy I believe it is because they feel they are unable to operate at the expected level! As a parent and as a nursery nurse I would recommend this place to everyone and I will continue taking my daughter here after I complete my placement! Haters will hate but just walk in and you will feel the love and passion of them all... and of me too.

I popped over to this nursery a few weeks ago to view it as a potential nursery for my daughter. It was suprising. Stepping inside the door was like stepping into Dr Who's Tardis. From the outside it looks tiny. Inside? HUGE. My daughter was hooked before she even got to the top of the stairs, a member of staff came to check we were okay as we had taken so long naming all the superheroes and peppa pig characters on the wall! Inside it is very bright and well cared for. There was a nice amount of children, who all ran to greet my daughter. It wasn't too busy and all the children seemed very happy. The staff were very smiley and welcoming. Most impressed by the sensory room! Beautiful, natural resources! A lady called Ashley showed me around and you could tell how passionate she was as she explained everything about the nursery. An indian lady then geeted me and smiled as she was helping a child go down stairs to the garden. It was all so friendly and quite easy. I was ready to sign her up, took forms away with me. Unfortunately, my job relocation means I'm moving a little too far away but my sister is looking for a nursery in a few months time so will send her your way! - Sara

I would highly recommend little angelz nursery to my friends and family. My daughter joined the nursery at 9 months old on my return to work, Myself and her dad were both very anxious about leaving her and viewed several nurseries to which none we felt happy with. Whilst waiting for the bus I noticed the sign for Little Angelz and called the telephone number to arrange a viewing, I was told they have an open door policy. As I was outside I called the buzzer. I was greeted with a smile by Ashleigh who showed me around the nursery, She was very helpful and polite and answered all my questions. I then booked settling in days for the following week, my daughter settled in very quickly and has made a great bond with all of he staff and children. HSince starting 7 months ago my daughter has learnt and improved in many ways including sign language for various words which she now uses on a daily basis! The staff are always polite and helpful and I could not feel more comfortable to leave my baby knowing she is being well cared and looked after.

I came over to the nursery with my wife and my son to veiw the nursey I have recently moved over to Leicester from Nottingham for a job, upon entering the nursey the lights were dim and the entrance was cluttered with pushchairs the signage was left as a trip hazard, but i was able to tell that the staff and managers did try their utmost hardest to keep the entrance child friendly. Once we had reached over to the top of the stairs, we were all greeted with 3 very friendly faces, 1 Spanish lady who said hello to both me and my wife and well as my son, 5 mins later we were greeted with 2 other girls with headscarves on who greeted us and complimented my son and wife. Whilst looking around the nursery reception area, i looked into one of the rooms and i had heard a staff member telling a little boy because he snatched, she then told the boy to sit but as usual the little boy wanted to play she then grabbed the boy by the uppers arms and almost slammed him into the floor, in many ways i was shocked as well as disturbed, the lady then came out of the room whilst i was sitting into the chairs and unprofessionally told one of the girls wearinf headscarves on because she took to long in the bathroom, the staff member introduced herself to us and came to my attention she is the assistant manager. Once i came home i toldy wife what i saw, this left me asking why she'd do that or she was just having a bad day. My wife was adament that we ring the local council and put in an official complain. I thought about this and realised that the council may not investigate. I have now put in a complaint to OFSTED and they will get back to me within a week. My overall visit was good due to the 3 friendly faces we were greeted with, the assistant manager just left me worried. Other than that it is a bright nursery with lots of potential. Thanks Christopher

We had a very negative experience with this nursery a few months ago when I came to register my little daughter. The assistant manager was very unfriendly and rude and sent me back home with her due to a timing misunderstanding. I apologised and was happy to continue with registration however we didnt feel welcome and they never called again to rearrange for a new setting. We have been to many nurseries around Leicester and this one was by far the worst! Staff and management need to be trained to treat both parents and children in a better and friendly manner, despite their work circumstances. We did not feel it would be the right or safe place to register our daughter there as a result, despite the fact that we are only looking to register for the short creche sessions, nothing major. But from the start, it wasn't a very positive welcome & experience!
