Ordered 3 medium cod, 2 chips, plain and cheesy fish cakes to feed 3 adults and a hungry tweenager. Big pieces of fish, plenty of chips in 2 portions for 4 of us. Well impressed with the homemade fishcakes they were huge, think the cheesy one was our favourite. Will definitely visit again if we're this way!

A nice local fish and chip shop in Portslade old village. Nice park near by to enjoy your food. The food they sell is very good. Nice staff. The place always has customers. Best fish shop in Portslade by a long way . Local store nearby to buy cider from. A win win situation.

The best fish shop in Brighton/Hove/ Portslade area. The food is freshly cooked, not at all greasy and tastes amazing. The staff are really friendly and have excellent customer service skills. We’ll def be back soon!

The fish and chips served here is up there as one of the best in Brighton. There's the option to have breadcrumbs instead of batter, which is delicious and the chips are always perfectly fried. It's obvious that the owner takes pride in his restaurant as the quality is consistently high and much improved since he took over. Other items on the menu such as the fish cakes, mushy peas and pies are also excellent. They even serve gravy if you like it Northern style!

Have been going here for some years. It is the best fish bar around. But have very recently up the prices quite lot. Shame. Buttered rolls don't come with butter. And some staff are rude.
