I changed to Grove Lodge because my previous vet expected to diagnose my dogs complaint from my description over the phone for the same fee - not being a vet that wouldn't have been very accurate.
Telephoning Grove Lodge we went over to their car park, they took Millie from the boot took her in for examination and treatment. Very friendly and efficient

They offered my dog exceptional care. This is the first time she has become ill and i found them to be reassuringly professional, caring and communicative. One of the vets even came out to see me to check on my dog after her walk. I would not register my dog anywhere else.

Very unimpressed with the whole set up. But firstly I was given a time slot then told it was gone, redirected to another branch promised a text with directions and reminder of time, didn't get this. Luckily I had a lift or I would have been stood outside in the freezing cold with my very poorly cat, if it had been raining it would have been hell. When I did see the vet, outside it was windy the mask/distance made it almost impossible to hear or understand the instructions re tablets. There should at least be a shelter. I will not be returning.

I have been with Grove Lodge Vets for many years now. Firstly they saved my Cocker spaniel Poppys life when she was treated by another local vet which. by an antibiotic given to her caused her to get pancreatitis.
She lived another 8 years.
Our new Maltipoo Honey and Cat Molly have been very well looked after. All the vets and staff are absolutely wonderful and I would have no hesitation to recommend them.

Vet was very nice, I was just surprised to be charged £47.90 for a follow-up on our pet rabbit, she had a lump drained a week ago, this was to check the wound, £47.90 seems a bit steep for a short consultation.

We have used Grove Lodge for many years. Our dog has 2 rare conditions plus an ongoing third. The first condition started when he was a year old and thanks to Jackie is back to full health. He is a rather nervous dog (having been rescued) but has great rapport with Jackie and quickly trusts any other vet we see as they all are so great with him. We have no problems getting appointments at a time that suits us. As I am retired, he is rarely left alone but he goes regularly to a lovely daycare facility to socialise with other dog's. Despite being a large dog, we have to limit his exercise due to his first condition so here he gets to run freely, otherwise walks are on the lead as he can run and run otherwise. Understanding his condition is important not only to us but Jackie went that further mile to get him on the right treatment and giving us advice.

The receptionist, vets and nurses are all welcoming and understanding. They treat both myself and my pet with respect. Katie is extremely nervous but this is taken into consideration in dealing with her. We are kept informed as to what they are doing. A nice and friendly veterinary surgery

We saw Stephie who was brilliant. Really thorough and knowledgeable. She rang to see how our old boy was getting on with his medication a few days after seeing him. She gave us options of treatment and no pressure for procedures. Couldn't recommend her enough. Very kind and caring.

Recently I had that unenviable task of ending my dear dog's life. Weimaraner Cleo and I were greeted by sensitive and caring staff who made this awful moment less horrific. My dog was just 8 years old but had been well looked after by this Surgery all her life. Thank you all at Grove Lodge, Tarring. Bx

My dog loves going there she gets lots of cuddles and treats, they are all very friendly and always answer any questions. My dog has just had an operation the aftercare was wonderful and i could phone them 24/7 if she had any problems.

The worst service I have ever experienced. The receptionist needs to work in Morrisons not a vets she had as much compassion And bedside manner as a worker in pound land ( and that's being generous) We had to put our old poorly beloved dog to sleep and her reaction was as if we were checking out of a cheap hotel let alone just saying our goodbyes to our dog. Get a grip grove lodge your rooms were filthy surely cleanliness costs nothing ( clearly you weren't busy!!) the vet turned up late with no regards to us being totally mortified that we were having to make the hardest decision ever ( putting her to sleep)
I totally would NOT recommend this particular branch its AWFUL and has left us feeling upset and angry ???? Use ARUN VETS they are amazing wish we had
