All the team at Northdale have supported my daughter and I brilliantly over the last few months as our lovely moggy, Marmite, fought with cancer. He lost that battle yesterday. The kindness and help given by everyone was well above what I could have expected. The care is just so genuine. Best Vets ever!

Great group of vetinarians who offer a really lovely, caring service from a very professional surgery with quiet area for the pets that need it. Our tiny fur baby loves it there, look at this for a happy face. Plus, in these trying times, they are very covid aware & work to keep everyone safe :)

I've been taking my cats to Northdale vets Worthing branch for years now, and having a very positive experience each time. I've been well supported by the team when we were going through hard times with a terminally ill kitten. I'm happy to be able to get appointment slots available after work or on weekends.

Excellent fast service that inspired confidence. My pet terrier had those arrow-like grass seed-heads embedded deep in both ears which is potentially very dangerous but the vet saw her quickly at 8am in the morning, had to sedate her but within half an hour had removed them in a most efficient and professional way. He was also very friendly, had the human touch and it was obvious that he cared so thankyou Northdale for creating a very happy dog once again!

Visited the vets yesterday for my cat’s booster vaccinations. We waited outside as per the ‘new normal’ . There was a gazebo and chairs. I felt my cat was actually much more relaxed by this as she didn’t realise she was at the vets!!
As always the staff were very friendly and vet excellent. She came out relaxed and purring! What could be better?!

Please be careful taking your pets here, SOME OF THE VETS WILL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO CHARGE YOU FOR RANDOM PROCEDURES WHICH COULD HARM YOUR PET. My mother and I took my cat in because she wasn't eating (turns out she had a cold). Our usual vet (who is very good) was on holiday so we saw somebody new. This other vet is the one I am writing this review about, in the hopes that nobody loses their pet to an unnecessary, ill-advised procedure. The vet felt my cat's stomach and said she felt a tumour. The vet was adamant that what she felt was definitely a tumour when we asked if there were any other possibilities. My big mistake was making it clear that we would pay for whatever was necessary as I burst into tears. The vet suggested we put her on steroids at £50 a dose or operate to remove the tumour. I asked if we could first get some tests done to confirm it was cancer and the vet did her best to discourage me. The tests cost around £300 but this would amount to less than a course of steroids or an operation. I insisted on getting the test done and it was all clear. When questioned about her previous certainty that there was a tumour, the vet said that perhaps the tumour she felt was "just impacted poop". Then, here's the worst part, the vet insisted we get a biopsy done on my 12 year old cat to check for a tumour, even though the scan and the blood work all showed that she was healthy. This biopsy would cost about £1500. Note that a biopsy on a 12 year old cat is a high risk procedure that would likely kill the cat. The vet who actually conducted the tests told us that my cat was perfectly healthy, contradicting the woman who was insisting on the biopsy. Whilst I am sure many of the vets here genuinely care for the pets they treat, there is at least one who doesn't so please be aware of this if you come here.

I have just left this veterinary surgery and signed up with a new one as my animals were not treated very well on numerous occasions. There are a few lovely vets there however there is one specific vet who in my opinion mishandled my animals, and has no bedside manner with them or owners. Shaking my cat out of her cat box when she was dying and lifeless and pulling my chihuahua up by her lead as a means to pick her up after pulling across the car park when she was going in for a paw that was bleeding and painful. I wrote to the surgery to complain and they has completely dismissed the complaint even after seeing video footage of the event. I’m extremely happy that my animals won’t be returning here as their health and well-being is of upmost importance for me. Unfortunately this one vet has ruined Northdales reputation and I will not be recommending them to anyone.

First outing since lockdown and was really anxious as I'm in the vulnerable category. Waiting room reorganised for social distancing and hand sanitiser everywhere (that incidentally smelt vile). Measures in place to keep staff and customers safe. Vets amazing as always. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. Thank you all xx

I personally am not happy. For the first time I brought cough cat, they couldn't understood what he was having and prescribed PAIN medication.
On 23 March I brought my cat because there was something on her nose and I told then that she is very thin, they removed what was on her nose and they just asked me if she ate and saw that she really lost weight and that is. They did not measure her temperature, did not test her blood, told me to come back to June. My cat will not be alive until then (as it is). How an pet will lose 1/4 of his weight in 3 months and will not be tested immediately - complete irresponsibility. After two days of reading, I learned a lot about my cat's problem and when I told the doctor that after the age of seven, cats should be tested for a regular blood test, he replied that they are not required. Yes, they are not obliged, but if they knew the breed and if they really cared, they would. Yes, they did blood test for her, but after telling them that I had consulted with other doctors abroad and what they had told me to do. I do not think that their colleagues from abroad should tell them what to do. By the way, the overseas doctors ONLY DESCRIBED the symptoms in a messenger without examination, she was correctly diagnosed with which I went to Northdale. Isn't it funny?
Extremely disappointed ......!
I have one more cat (with health problems) and I am worried if I need help for him.
I'll give you a advice ...
Dear Doctors at Northdale, expand your knowledge of breeds. Each is different.
And remember the most important thing - NOT ALL IS MONEY !!!!
First you have to be human and save lives after being a doctor - no matter what!

The staff are always super friendly, and clearly adore animals. I get good advice, and am listened to by the vet if I ever have any concerns. We've been talking our dog here for four years now, and he's had regular check ups as well as emergency and routine procedures. They've been great in all cases.

Always a warm welcome. Everyone from the receptionists, nurses to vets are kind, understanding and sensitive to individual situations. Treatments and costs are discussed so you are fully aware of what is to come without any nasty surprises. Nurses and vets listen to your concerns and are always reassuring. My cat Ken is always treated with great care and affection. A really lovely team.
