I used the click and collect service, it was very simple and very easy, the item was ready for collection minutes after me ordering it. The was staff was friendly and helpful. My only issue was other items in the store seem to be a little hard to find.

We love to have this reasonably big Homebase relatively closed to home. You can get lots of DIY, gardening, lightning and others. So pleased to have it reopen after some long!

Came to this Homebase with my mum to get 10 bags of bark and not a single person helped us carry them. It’s like once we paid they left us to do everything - also had to ask for a trolley (not sure how they expected us to carry 10 x 40kg from the shop to the car park)

Visit was mid morning and very quiet. Parking easy and no queuing to get in. Obviously a major re-stock going on so some aisles not accessible. But shelves pretty well stocked and staff really helpful. Bit confused about charges for parking - wasnt sure if this was active.

It is nice place with reasonable prices and your week always find a parking. Staff is not very helpful as they always busy in something and have no time for customers. It would be good for you to always do your research before you enter.

Ordered items via click and collect, price of 3 items as a multi buy was £12 but came up incorrectly as £12.61. No option to buy in store as items were £4.75 each in store and no multi buy option. Had to visit store to discover this as no information on website to say on line offer only.
Collected within 45 minutes of purchasing on line. Easy to collect. My only criticism was that assistants mask kept falling below nose ....

Really friendly staff who let me in each time with my dog! Very knowledgeable when like me, you don't know the first thing about DIY! Only slight thing for improvement was that when I was coming to get spray paints, you rarely had more than 1-2 bottles of each which doesn't go that far at all.

There is an apparent assumption that no one cycles to Homebase because there is no cycle parking space - someone else was having the same "fun" trying to decide where the least risky / safest place was. Once inside they had everything I wanted to buy but I was hoping to look at some bathroom cabinets but couldn't find any...

Unhelpful staff in the store. I asked a team member on the shop floor about an item and they told me to take it to the checkout where they could look up the item. The lady at the checkout was very rude, spoke loudly (in an aggressive manner) and wouldn't let me finish my sentence ans kept talking over me. She said she can't help and I should either pay for the item or queue again for customer service. So I did! Customer services man asked about the incident but seemed disinterested in offering an apology or suggesting how my complaint can be dealt with. And I didn't get the item I wanted! I get ot that everyone is fed up with lockdown but there is no excuse for rudeness or being unhelpful in a retail environment. Especially as stores are threatened with online shopping.

I like this Homebase store because you can find most of necessary items for your home here.
Though it may not be as big as IKEA or B&Q but it has almost everything which you need to maintain in your home from decoration stuff to gardening or kitchen and bathroom furniture.
It has lighting section too alongside building materials too.

Plumbing bits&bobs display is awful - not customer friendly at all. You can't see easily what things are. Items for different pipe sizes are intermingled. It needs a total rethink. Homebase should take a look at how BAUHAUS (European DIY store) displays stuff.
