Got a good deal on a Tundra 2 weeks ago. They have a great selection. I would have given them a higher rating but there was a small plastic rear bumper piece that was missing (prior to purchase) that they said they would replace and cover. Instead though they made me actually purchase it out of my own pocket, after the purchase of the vehicle. It was only $68 but I felt a little lied too. Therefore the lower rating, so buyers beware.

Rep promised to give us a deal and a lower price than was listed if we came in at that exact moment because it was "end of month". The sales manager refused to lower it even one cent, in fact they ADDED $4,000 in non negotiable reconditioning and a 6 month warranty. He said he would not budge on the price because it had been looked over top to bottom by his shop and staff and this is why it was non negotiable. There was water inside the headlights and the car was FILTHY. I highly doubt anyone did more than spray it down with a water hose.

Patrick Kemp got me in a new car the day I showed up. He got me in a new Corolla with plenty of room for my head and legs, and at 6'3" that's nice to have. The car is great, and I love the way it drives. The Bluetooth speakers, proactive safety features, and 40mpg make it a great car for a long drive. The "Maintenance Required" message appear on the display related to tire rotation and oil change. I did not have an appointment but since I was going through Weatherford that day, I just pulled into the Maintenance Bay and asked if I could get these services done. The answer was "Yes" they could take care of it. There was another car in front of me, but they would get to it as soon as possible. I went to the lounge and enjoyed the HGTV show that was on the TV. In about an hour, my Highlander was ready and I was on my way. I appreciated the prompt service I received, even though I did not have an appointment. In the past I have always made an appointment for service, so I really appreciate their accommodating attitude for this service.

Great place, went to look at a truck that unfortunately was sold right as I got there. They were very helpful in helping us find what we were looking for and keeping it in the price range that we wanted. Ask for Blake Garrett, was super respectful and would bend over backwards to make sure you leave a happy customer.

The owner of this dealership is running a scam operation. Buyer beware. The listed prices are not the sales prices despite their listed disclaimer. And I quote “Price excludes TT&L, Registration, Insurance & $150.00 dealer documentation fee. Any other fees or charges that are allowed or prescribed by law.” So what gives then? Why tell a lie? They add an extra $4,500 to the sales price above what is advertised. Some would call that false advertising. Others may call it lying. You are all fair warned!!!!

Found a great deal on used family car, we test drove and took it home that day. Their financing got me a much better interest rate than my credit union did and the process was smooth. The detailing on the car was a bit rushed but I was there until closing so I understand. Eduardo was very nice and everyone was nice enough to wear a mask during our visit since we chose to wear ours.

The dealership tacks on a mandatory service package called shottenkirk care for $1k-3k dollars on every car. This is a deceptive bait and switch tactic to get you in the door. She is the best service advisor I have encountered at Toyota dealerships in five states. The service at Shottenkirk seems better than when Durant was at this location in Hudson Oaks.

BAIT AND SWITCH! We drove 1.5 hrs to test drive a car, and we were ready to buy, but then we were told buying a $3000 “care package” was mandatory. They said they would not sell the call at the advertised price and that even with the $3k added on it was still below market. They said they understood why we didn’t like the surprise fees, but that’s just the way it is and everyone does it. We left upset, total waste of time.

The advertised price is to get you to come it the price is 5 to 7 percent higher. I went to buy the car they advertised; I was willing to finance or pay cash. Their advertised price was $56,524 plus TT&L, $150 dealership fee, and registration. Taxes would take the price to $60,056, add fees and registration, and the cost would come to $60,300 roughly. I was ready to pay that, but Terry, the manager at Shottenkirk, said no, the price was $64K. Terry then told me it is just an ad and does not need to be accurate.

I buy a used Dodge Challenger and almost paid in full as my down payment, they refused to negotiate price even though on the phone they said the price is negotiable they also started to tag on their care package that they refused to not let me take off. I really wanted the car so either way I paid for it not even 30 days me owning the vehicle about two weeks my transmission drops while on the highway so I called the dealership and I told them what’s going on and they say the warranty that they sold me will cover for the replacement. I was relieved but fast forward a week later I’ve come to find out the vehicle had no catalytic converter‘s and my warranty is voided, they had never told me that there was no catalytic converter and they sold me a warranty that was completely pointless because of the modification to the vehicle. I called them to tell them what is going on and I have now been playing phone tag with them for over a week and a half with no progress and no answers of what is going on or how they could help me in anyway.

Incredibly nice salespeople with nice cars, but the price you pay is WAY above the price they advertise online. I wanted to buy the car. It was advertised for $12,000 online. But, when they came out with the final out the door price, they were asking $16,000 because of their extended warranty (mandatory) and “shop fee” (mandatory). I’m fine if they have some fees, but I would have appreciated knowing what the pricing would be before going to check out the car. That bringing said, we negotiated down to a more reasonable price that better aligned with KBB, but it was still $3,000 above the price advertised online. Pricing honestly isn’t terrible compared to market rates, but reality did not meet the expectations set by their website.

Brian the finance guy was honest and upfront about the fees and didn’t put a lot of pressure on us to buy extra services we didn’t need. The absolute best customer service representative I’ve ever dealt with. I called last Friday to get 4 new tires put on my car. She answered the phone and was extremely jovial and kind. She had to order my tires, so said it would be a few days...she called the next day and told me the tires had arrived!! I was at work, so I couldn’t have them done then, but I went it today to have all the work done. Did an inspection, oil change, new tires put on, and an alignment....all in under an hour. She was also extremely friendly and welcoming. She new my car when I pulled up to have my work done, and called me personally to let me know when my car was ready to be picked up. Great professionalism and customer service....highly recommended

I bought a used Highlander here. It was used but still cost a good amount. The salesman had said he would check to see if it had an extra key. I never saw the salesman again after I signed paperwork. I got home and realized the Highlander had no floor mats and the sunroof was messed up so I called back and never got a reply. I’ve bought many cars from here before it was Shottenkirk but will not any more. It seems, as if after I purchased, they really didn’t care anymore! When I finally spoke to manager Dan, he didn’t seem to care either and said the vehicle was sold AS IS. He said that I could pay for another key and to get the sunroof fixed. So buyer, be sure that you inspect everything on the inside of a used vehicle because once you drive off they won’t care about you and won’t fix anything unless you pay for it.

Beware! I will try to keep this review short and professional. I did not have any issues with the employees at this dealership. However, their sales policy is awful. Found a car online with a reasonable price (still on the high end according to KBB) and called to set appointment. Drove 4 hours to see the car and buy it. Then, the sales pitch. They add $3500 (approx.) to the sticker price for some BS protections etc. These are in addition to taxes, title, and registration. Additionally, they are "mandatory." I have purchased several cars and never came across this type of nonsense. It comes across as very dishonest. If they would have just published the actual sticker price online I probably would have purchased the vehicle.

The advertised price of a vehicle was $33,684.00. I called to both confirm the cost and the truck was available. However, after trying to negotiate with the sales manager, a back and forth prices that took multiple phone calls, and most of my day, the “best” the sales manager could do was $39,000.00. They have thousands of dollars of hidden fees that they will not negotiate on, and do not tell you up front. “Shottenkirk care” and “Reconditioning”. Throughout this process, I had to call them multiple times, even thought they assured me they would return my call. At one point, I called and asked to speak with the sales manager. The salesperson, was extremely rude because I would not give him a bunch of info on why I wanted to talk to the sales manager. Eventually he put me on hold, with out telling me, and the call was eventually dropped after about 5 minutes. Danielle Smith, the “internet director” accused me of setting an appointment wit the sales rep, Blake, then not showing. Which is 100% false. In fact I drove all the way to Weatherford from Arlington because I thought I would be getting a deal on a vehicle. Instead all I got was a waste of a trip, rude sales personnel and management, and lie to. These people are 100% liars, and use unethical sales practices.

This dealership lost a definite sale from us today. We drove from over an hour away to view two Jeeps, one of which my husband had an email from the director with the price they would sell it for. When we got there, the price was already up over $2,000 and then once we went to talk numbers, we were hit with about $4,500 in "hidden" dealer fees! When we questioned the price we had been quoted in a personal e-mail, we were told that the director was just trying to "make a deal" that day. Apparently, they didn't want our business today and will never get it in the future! I felt bad for our salesperson as he was a stand-up guy! We went back to Rockwall and purchased a Jeep! Don't waste your time here! Peace out! ✌????

Where do I start? I found a use Camaro on their site that a friend living out of state wanted me to look at and drive for possible purchase. So I called and spoke with a salesman name Travis. I told him I would be there in about an hour since I live an hour away. He said ask for him. I arrived met him and explained what I wanted to do. He took my ID to make a copy and came back with Terry I'm assuming he's the manager. He asked again what are my intentions. I explained again and saw his demeanor change. He said they can't hold a car for a month. I said where did you get a month from? My friend is waiting on me to say this is the one. She has a credit union check in hand with a preset amount waiting. The purchase was to be a surprise gift for her husband. I guess he didn't believe me because he then said they don't except out of state checks. I realized then that he didn't want me to drive the vehicle. He kept saying it's the end of the month and this car will not be here. Well I just checked and it still is 2/8/21. I would like to hope that the color of my skin wasn't the issue but I will have to call it like I see it. I'm a 55 year old military vet not some thug off the street but that day I felt like the latter. I can only hope that this was an isolated incident but Mr. Terry seemed too comfortable with his comments. Needless to say I told my friend to look elsewhere. The experience I had at Shottenkirk showed me that we still have a long way to go as a country when it comes down to profiling.

I'm not one to post reviews... but I felt obligated as I've been searching for a good used car for a few months. This place is definitely not the place to buy used cars as they're incredibly hard to get a a hold of phone or email. Dealer fees at this place are a joke...unless you want to pay 4-5 thousand extra in fees ( B4 taxes and title) . Don't waste your time go elsewhere.

I drove two hours to see a vehicle listed for sale. Vehicle met my expectations. I was prepared to purchased at the advertised price but they were not willing to honor the price. There was an additional $3,500 added to the price listed for Recon and a ding and dent package I did not want. The general manager declined my offer to purchase at the advertised price. Not the experience you want or expect when purchasing a vehicle.
