What you expect from a Sainsbury. Entry/exit system is okay but could be better organised. At the moment entry and exit cross so not much point in having them segregated.

Sainsbury's is a very posh Tesco's. Sells le baguettes instead of bread. Worth a look, but yellow labels ain't a patch on Morrie's or Tesco.

Good Sainsbury's which is usually stocked well. I love the fact when I shop there, there isn't many people or maybe it's because of the covid pandemic keeping everyone away at certain times. I have found that doing the self scan shopping you do get stopped quite a lot for checks. I'd say at least 2 times in my last 4 shops so I stopped using that and went back to the old fashioned way using the till and having a chin wag with the checkout staff.

The store is the same as any other, but the ratio of parent and child spaces to others is completely off. If your going there with a child, expect to not find any spaces.

Parking good but shop very crowded.very difficult to keep safe distance from everyone. It's a nice shop well laid out but I didn't feel safe.

Felt safe. Could buy food for several weeks ahead as sell eat buy dates were good which is important. Means I can stay at home rather than worrying about having to shop too often. Thank you.

I always shop at Sainsburys in Melton Mowbray. My last shop was yesterday 1 April. I bought some hot Cross buns dated 2 April. Today I wanted to use them and to my amazement they are dry and stale. Not at all what I expected from the usual Sainsburys good quality baking.

My eldest accidentally took my sunflower lanyard out of the car so I went in with my baby and mask in hand. Putting my baby in the trolley I put my mask on but due to my claustrophobia couldn't have it on for more than a few seconds. The lady outside in a face shield, sorry I didn't get her name, could see I was struggling and was very reassuring and calming. She allowed me into the store even without my mask and was just an absolute gem helping me calm down. It was around 10:15am this morning and I'm gutted I didn't get her name, but she is a credit to your store!

Usual high standard of cleanliness. Friendly helpful staff. Good covid adherence, only negative is more empty shelves than is expected. Had to chose alternative items . Not what one would expect. We have to travel a good distance to shop so a bit disappointing.

I ordered an Argos item to collect from this store, and to be honest the store needs sorting. I could not see any signage for the collection point so queued at customer service only to be told after a 15 minute wait that the collection point was the fish counter!!!!!!!. Doubt I will use the store again for argos bits. overall experience very poor.

Was disappointed there were too many people in the store. This affected the2 metre distance in the store. There was a manager in store at the time, but he didn't make any changes to ensuring safe distancing. And safety for its clients.
Hope this is rectified immediately.

I have found that Sainsbury's supermarket stocks a wide variety of products. But unfortunately tend to be on some things more expensive than most other supermarkets. I find that I can get most every thing just as good form Aldi or Lidl considerably cheaper.

Probably the best Supermarket in Melton Mowbray. Freshly baked bread sells out quite quickly, so don't leave it too late if you want something from the bakery. That said, the fresh rolls could be a little bit better, they don't meet the discerning approval of my every so slightly fussy daughter!

Scan and go problematic. Wasted 30 mins while staff tried to correct problem and it was up to me to suggest they rescan an entire shoppingtrolley.
Many items not priced.
I watched yesterday as staff stood around while a couple weighed a newborn on the digital scales that people weigh their fruit and veg on! During a pandemic! Hardly hygienic.
Regularly do not have stock, even when showing they have it in the warehouse. Too many self service tills, while other tills unmanned and staff stand around talking.
Out of date food on shelves, so poorly managed stock control.
Unable to contact their customer services online and no phone number made available, hence publicly reviewing as this is the only way.
Glad they are there but they could do so much better.

Sainsburys was not so good this visit. I think they need staff to tidy the shelves rather than keep filling the toiletry aisle which seems to be a constant source of annoyance.

Always shop here. Safety is a priority and the staff only allow so many people in to avoid congestion. Good variety of products and reasonable prices.
