BEWARE: Brought a Toro Timemaster 21811 from WGM / MowWithUs, 1st mower delivered with dents, scratches and scuffs (pictures available) returned the mower and WGM delivered a replacement. 2nd mower delivered with similar scratches and scuffs, (pictures available) raised issue with WGM and received the below: Thank you for pictures. I asked Peter Atkins, our Warehouse Manager, to open up two new mowers that arrived from Toro today. They all showed more or less the same marks that you have highlighted in your pictures. Peter’s view is that they are cosmetic and will not affect the integrity of the machine. Clearly these marks are happening in transit from Toro to us. We have contacted Toro to inform them but they currently have no further stock of this mower. Toro UK will not accept any responsibility, accountability or ownership that they distribute poor quality products, these issue are surface, however worryingly what is happening on the inside, what disasters are waiting that cannot be seen.

The chaps here are ALWAYS friendly no matter how inept I am at not understanding the tools and gadgets my husband asks me to take to them to get fixed. We always have a laugh and they are very helpful with a can-do attitude!

Rip off merchants do not touch them with the proverbial barge pole, mower broke after one mow sent it in for repair and as I had had it one year they try to sting me for £220 service when they sold it with 8 year guarantee, officious and cocky salesman in breach of everything he promised when he sold it to me, sharp practice of the most despicable kind. I would rate them no stars but I cannot post this warning without pressing one!!!

I bought a Honda lawnmower in February. I used it three times and it developed a fault. Since then I was told there was a nine week wait for repairs. Now finding it impossible to contact them by phone. However, the fault has now been resolved so I'm happy again...

Disinterested sales people. Tardy and expensive service. I bought several items of Stihl garden machinery from these people over the last few years and I have often wondered why I have bothered give them repeat business (local I suppose) but wont be going back. Service and repairs seem to be conveniently close to the point of being more sensible to buy a replacement which is compounded by the fact WGM are almost always more expensive than competitors. I pointed in my last visit that I'm a returning customer who I can't wait 5-6 weeks for a repair and perhaps I'd consider a replacement but that item can be sourced at over £60 cheaper at HSS retail in Woking they just don't make any kind of positive response and go silent. There is no interest in keeping your custom. You have a choice of waiting ages for expensive service or pay over the odds for the item required at this company, Most recently I just bought the part myself and fixed the machine on less than 10 minutes costing £32. The alternative was a £295 replacement (which I didn't really need) or a £120 repair 5 weeks later. Not good enough in my personal opinion. Buying the spare part was easy if I am looking for positives. I can't understand how this business survives but maybe customer service isn't a necessity in this sector.

We bought a mower via another branch of WGM. The mower experienced a very silly minor problem. A call to the Winchester branch where they abused taking to closer Suningdale branch. We received prompt and friendly welcome and an on the spot remedy that involved fitting a new linkage pin during a few minutes waiting. I passed the time observing two sales staff advising customers. Precise accurate, descriptions of mowers with no hard sales pressure, the only friendly pressure was re making sure the customers needs were assessed and met. Great service company.
