Very bad experience.
I've ordered an item in January and haven't received it even after 7 weeks.
I've called the company 3 times to get na update, emailed support team at least 6 times and even didn't get an answer on my emails.
I can tell that this company has real issue with customer service and will lose many customers if they carry on like that :(
However, today I was lucky and spoke to someone who was a bit more helpful and helped me to get the refund.

Ordered a Stihl leaf blower online, it hadn’t arrived late afternoon on the day expected so I contacted the customer services and spoke to a lady who was most helpful, pleasant and witty she confirmed my order was on the way. Half an hour later the blower arrived. It started easily, is now in regular use and was bought at a most competitive price. Great!!

Avoid this company, took well over a month to receive my items and only after opening a case with PayPal. Very poor response to emails for delivery update or refund requests. It seems to me they take your order knowing they have no stock and then place an order with their suppliers, hoping they receive it quickly.

Ordered on 11th Jan and 10 days later have heard nothing even after several phone calls, emails and Facebook messages. Payed with PayPal so case opened which has had no response from the company either.
If a company is out of stock, a message to let me know and a refund is all good. No harm, no foul. Why a company would be so incompetent or just so untrustworthy as to take peoples money, not send the goods and let them have to go through the rigmarole of obtaining a refund is beyond me.
I suppose this is why they can’t afford to have anyone man their Facebook messenger, pay the email hosting company (my email bounced back as the support email is no longer valid) or answer the phone.
In a climate where there are lots of small businesses struggling and it is up to everyone to help them as best they can, it’s a shame that companies like this damage consumer confidence in them.
I won’t be buying from this company again and urge others not to either. However, I will be keeping an eye on how long it is until their website disappears leaving more room for legitimate, trustworthy and competent businesses to take their place.

Not even sure a one star rating is even appropriate. Hugely disappointed. My father received a product that was faulty.The company was informed by a phone call followed up with an email by my mother & a further email that I sent on their behalf! The response stated several issues that the fault could be? “Sales executive “ offered for us to return it over 300 miles to then be tested at their workshop! As he had “A FEELING” it could be fuel related? Seriously! The customers who buy items are quite often extremely educated individuals who certainly do not need such a ludicrous response! The consumer goods act clearly states if you receive an item that is not in working order then a full refund or replacement would be sent out. Policies on London tools website clearly states customer satisfaction, yet it seems I have a sales executive that not only wants to educate my father in the mechanical workings of the tool refuses to replace or refund and is clearly stalling for time. How embarrassing for the company! No apology given, extremely unhelpful and clearly uneducated on policies and procedures relating to consumer law! Disgusting customer service!

Send the tool to repair as it’s under the manufacture warranty in November 2019 . Still waiting for the tool send back.

bought a stihl strimmer from london power tools 3 years ago. the strimmer (a corded electric stihl fse 81) didn’t turn on when it arrived. sent it back same day but seller returned it as repaired instead of replaced new or refunded. I disputed the return via paypal but no dice. Seller was rude and completely intransigent. The strimmer subsequently failed and the motor burnt out. bad product bad seller

The best in London, the staff are very helpful and know what there talking about. The tools thay supply are highly rated for quality and reliability. I highly recommend as they can match or beat other deals and know when retailers are just doing deals to clear old stock.

London Power Tools were the cheapest suppliers of this particular model I could find, particularly with the Twitter voucher code and the free 42 piece screwdriver set.

This is how a company should be run - I'd be so proud if I owned it
I ordered a Stihl trimmer on Tuesday 30th June - delivered on 2nd July but that's just detail
I wanted some questions answered - I rang them - answered just as second ring went - the guy on the other end was excellent - he was slightly worried at first I was trying to order by phone as it's Internet only - but that was sorted - he was on the ball knew the answers and oh so different to the clown companies I sometimes deal with
The order went through on a web site that actually worked (yeah some don't but I can't name them!) I was advised almost immediately about delivery and etc etc (a sharp contrast to clown company 1 who didn't reply to 3 emails and had not contacted me for a week - jokers)
The delivery driver rang about half an hour before he delivered to make sure I was in - brilliant) and he was efficient and pleasant when he arrived
Buy from this company with complete confidence they are a credit to themselves and if I could give 10 stars I would
Oh and London Power Tools & fixings were cheapest too

We ordered a Stihl leaf blower and then to make up to free delivery, a couple of stiff hand held brushes and a pair of scissors. Their despatch team opened the Stihl box, jammed the brushes and the scissors in and then re-sealed it and sent it. Obviously, Stihl didn't design their box with space to put other products in, so the leaf blower, which was intended as a gift, had small scratches on it from the brushes being forced in around it and we also had to unpack the box to pick out odd bristles and bits that had fallen off them. Their response to my complaint wasn’t very satisfactory, either. Not recommended.

I wanted to place an order with LPT but before I did I had a few questions, Johnathan from LPT answered them all very promptly.
The item in question was at as good a price as I had seen on the internet and cheaper than most.
I placed the order with them and it was delivered free of charge the next day by Post Office Parcels.
An excellent standard of service and will use them again in the future.
