It maybe cheap but there's some good stuff in here! Prices are creeping over a pound in quite a lot of instances but taking everything into consideration Poundland represents pretty good value. Thurmaston store (near Leicester), is a good example, it brings back memories of Woolies, (I'm showing my age)!

Get pretty much everything here for house, kids , cleaning , with added bonus of a clothes section at the back with some nice fashionable stuff, that washes well too. Its really helpful for people who live on a budget even though these things can be low priced they are awesome quality. Don’t fear to shop here.its a big poundland really spacious has self checkout tills and as well as a pep&co section at the back with amazing styles and clothes even has school clothes and shoe

Its a good outlet for lots of things one can buy start from one pound to two pounds..I myself like to go there always first before going to Asda..for price comparison and some stuff u can get in poundland but some get from asda..

Marshalled entry to the store, hand sanitizer also on entry. Lovely wide isles and good stock levels. Social distancing markers throughout the store and all tills screened. They really have gone the extra mile.

Very disappointed to see a member of staff behind the till today with his face mask pulled under his chin. When we asked him why he was not wearing one he replied that he didn't have to because he was behind a screen. The screen is open at each end and the packing area is in between the two screens leaving the customer less than half a metre away from the till staff. Very irresponsible
