On Wednesday night we thought we had a puncture on a rear tyre as the pressure kept going down. Woke up to find the car telling us the tyre was reading at 12 Psi instead of what it's meant to be at 31. I took the car straight to Tanvic, waited for about 30 minutes for them to come back and say nothing was wrong with it and they had got it back up to 31. Drove home to find it dropping again, reaching 23; so took it back and waited another 45 minutes for them to say the exact same thing and that nothing was wrong with it.
As I got home the pressure was 28. Within an hour and a half it had then dropped to 18 Psi. I had to then drive to work going on what they said about nothing being wrong with it. Within an hour of being at work it was completely flat. Took the car to my car dealership this morning (Saturday) and they managed to find a puncture within 10/ 15 minutes. Was a complete waste of time taking the car to Tanvic and very dangerous telling me I could drive it when something was clearly wrong with it. Don't think I'll be using Tanvic again.

Very poor took my x5 for new brake pipes as quoted for by the mechanic. 9 days later after countless attempts of bleeding the brake and there diagnostic machine going down and putting the car into a safe mode and wouldn’t start. Ended up taking it to another garage still no go then I need a new mater cylinder which they fitted at there cost but car still doesn’t seam right and I don’t trust them to be able to repair the car. Will be out of pocket now cause I’ll have to take it some where else and pay for there mistakes very poor tanvic

I went in at Half 8 in the morning to ask about getting my front tyres replaced.... I was told to come back at Half 1 so I did but when I came back I was told " oh actually we might not have your tyres as we work on a first come first serve basis" so why didn't they tell me to come back sooner?? In the end I was told that they might be able to do it if I just leave them my car and pop back in 3 hours so I just took back my keys as that's not good enough and not what I was initially told... I also asked if they could change my windscreen wiper and was told " errr dunno, maybe" really unprofessional staff. Avoid this place

Took a car in for MOT & service as well as replacing an exhaust part they had suggested needed replacing a few months earlier. Now the part doesn't need replacing, but suspension needs attention?! Worst of all, despite paying for a service, fluids not topped up, including coolant, and tyre pressures all over the place at 35, 31, 26 and 24psi. Both of these should have been seen too. Makes me wonder what else they missed. They have offered to re-service - fair enough - but not sure if I can trust them.

Booked an Mot which my car failed so I took it to another garage because it was cheaper the what Tanvic quoted me so went for my free retest and the mot man st wasn't happy with the headlights on my car as they said it was a blub issue so I took it back to the garage I used and all it was the beam paten needed adjusting from right to left as it look like they was set up for European driving from the previous owner of the car so get them sorted and got shown by the garage and how they fixed them on there mot light box and got the beam paten correct for an mot so took it back again for a retest at Tanvic for the mot man to failed it again saying there still not correct so I told the man on reception I seen my headlights get adjusted correctly and explained what the problem was with them and all I got was well there not right on are machine! But not only that I noticed the next day that one of my washer jets on the bonnet was pushed up out of it correct position so I had a look and the mot man had left his screwdriver in my engine bay so when he shut my bonnet it broke the plastic grill the washer jet sits in and of course its the same size screwdriver that is needed for the adjusters for my headlights so no wounder there not correct the mot man was fiddling with them.
Will definitely never use Tanvic again, very disappointed and I can't believe the cowboy mot tester!!!

Credit where due.
I have just had four tyres fitted to my Volvo S80. The staff were courteous, helpful and professional.
Their cost was the lowest of five quotes I had obtained and the fitting / balancing was carried out quickly and efficiently.
I will use them again.

I had the misfortune to try using the Loughborough branch today. The website clearly states that the Loughborough branch does motorbike tyres, when this actually isn't the case. My son's motorbike had a puncture today, so with a great deal of logistical juggling, he dropped it at the Loughborough branch on his way to work, then later, I went into the branch to sort out the paperwork etc. The manager was quite rude and dismissive, and was adamant that the website did point out that the Loughborough branch does NOT do motorbike tyres. As he was quite so rude and unhelpful, I certainly won't be using Tanvic again for any of my vehicles. Additionally, I would suggest that Tanvic review the misleading website as it is plainly INCORRECT in stating that they do motorbike tyres. This caused me a lot of additional work. And also perhaps the manager might be advised to actually look at the website before he gives his forceful opinions as to its correctness or otherwise.

Took my e46 bmw 320ci there as it seems to be one of the few places in Loughborough that actually do a proper 4 wheel alignment. Happy with results, didn't take long and my car goes straight now :) bit steep at £60 but was expecting to pay around that for a full 4 wheel align

Booked an online appointment. Put in details of car involved. Arrived at Loughborough Depot and it seemed clear that no-one was aware of the booking. Left my vehicle only to receive a call two minutes later saying they could not do the job. Will not be using this place again.
