Disgusting how the staff here treat the people in need, nothing but bad reviews that son back two years which ironically is when the i speciation from the Quality Care Commission rates it under ‘requires improvement’ and would have no doubt been given an action plan to which clearly hasn’t been adhered to given how people are still being treated. It’s at the point where I myself have had to contact the CQC again with a complaint due to the way my partner has been treated has fallen in to the categories of which they received bad scores in. Constantly telling people they will call them back. No calls Constantly saying a certain member of staff will ring then back. That person is away Constantly telling people that the Duty will ring then back. The duty is the person that’s off meaning they have no duty. Been told to ‘hang on until Monday for medication prescription even though they were told the medication would last until Saturday afternoon (this is Friday evening) Been told the consultant will look in to medication via the diagnosis and yet no call back ‘Dianne’ will be calling Tuesday. Nothing Wednesday. Nothing Thursday. Away Friday. Away Following week. On annual leave, although she’s supposed to be the duty yet again leaving the place with no duty. This place needs some serious improvements and sharpish, with luck the CQC will be looking in to things with a stern outlook, I will also be updating my report to them to let them know just how things are carrying on and how when they were told the CQC has been contacted for everyone’s sakes including the bad reviews they seemed to not care at all. This place needs new staff, staff that care or closing down.. Ironically I was sent to this place in my early teens. Still waiting for a reply after my first appointment over a decade later.

Last 4 Years have been difficult. As a System User Since 2008 I have experienced care from different area's ( Mainly Leicester ).. Prior to September 2018 I would Rate Dale Bank View as no more than a 1 star. But now it is no longer using Locums things have improved for me. Today I rang up with a problem expecting a fob off. But no..I was promised a call back from the Psychiatrist secretary.. At this point I thought, No Call back, Not a chance ,, 15 minutes Later I got a call back from the secretary.... Explained my Issue. Again I expected that was as far it would go. 15 Minutes and the Psychiatrist rang me.. He went through options and Issued a medication script, which was ready to pick out within the hour. I am gob-smacked.. I honestly never thought I would post a Positive review. Please keep up this level of System service. You can always turn a negative into Positive the secret is maintaining this cycle.. Fingers Crossed only time will tell..

Supposed to review... they never do. They don't send out appointments even when repeatedly calling. Told to phone crisis team... who ignored me, too. My doctor called them and magically the crisis team contacted this unit and got me an appointment with a locum within hours. According to staff they don't have a full time psychiatrist and sometimes not even a locum. If you need help... these won't help you. I've contacted lots in their chain of people who repeatedly referred me to the crisis team. Useless.

Waste of space...don't offer a service if you can't back it up.

No full time psych since Nov 2016. Locums that don’t read your notes before they see you, then don’t listen and send incorrect information by letter to your GP. Complaint submitted not received any feedback. Got spoken to as if I was stupid by a member of the mental health team, full of excuses as to why appts are cancelled. Everybody knows things are difficult in the NHS but constant excuses become tiring after a while. Worst mental health team I’ve had to deal with as a patient. They used to be good. Now they’re appalling.

This used to be such a brilliant place a couple of years ago. Ten days and 3 messages left so far and no call back - although it did take 3 months for a response last time. My Patient Experience complaint has been delayed for over 6 weeks now (presumably they can't get hold of anyone either). No medication review for almost a year. Very bad spell over the last ten days now over leaving friends and family distressed. Not sure what the purpose of this place is anymore. It's horrible being completely ignored and left with no one else to turn to.

Absolutely diabolical. I was contacted via letter months ago with an appointment date and time, and I had to call to say that I couldn't make the appointment as I was relying on a busy relative to take me. Why do they just assume you are always available?! I've now been waiting for months on end for an appointment, and nothing. My social worker has called on several occasions to follow up with them, and nothing. I think it's a disgrace that mental health is still put on the NHS' back burner, and those suffering seem to be forgotten. No-one takes you seriously unless you have the cash to pay for private care. I've had several crisises during this wait and I'm constantly being fobbed off with excuses by these people. I am at my whitts end, and this will probably end with something final happening.

If you want a appointment expect to wait 12-18 months, then when you do finally get one they cancel when you turn up and don't bother making another one
