Had to replace a dead battery on my motor and called ahead to double check they had stock and were doing fittings in these weird times , luckily they had stock and promptly installed by new battery.

4pm Saturday headlight on my van went out and I had an early start Sunday morning dashed to Wilco and as per usual they had what I needed not only that they upgraded my lights to xenon bulbs which are far brighter and better and for small charge fitted them while I waited. Thanks guys you never fail to deliver, great knowledge and advice

Could not fault them! Called them at 8:30 this morning to see if they had a tyre that’d fit my car and the gentlemen said they didn’t but he would get one in for me today. Arrived at about 12ish to get it changed and there was a small wait as they were busy but they told me what cars were ahead of me. Got my tyre changed quickly and even ordered in an extra one in case I needed it! They advised me on another tyre that needed changing as well. So so friendly, chatty and they have kept their shop/workshop Covid safe! Well done :)

After all the years I have been using Wilco I was very disappointe that two young lads behind the counter didn't know what 'plug lead' was or 'HT lead' in the end after following my description one lad came back to tell me I meant ignition lead. Then I was told it is sold by the meter, when I asked if it would be a generous meter as a meter would probably be a bit of a stretch for my needs was told it is sold by the meter exactly and I wouldn't get a millimetre over. So I left, went down the road and got a generous meter.

Great service, good range of tools and specialist equipment, consumables and parts service are very good, but the consumables range is sort of budget - could do with expanding their ranges to include at least 1 higher end product. For example, they only do bottom end oils. No Mobil, silkolene, shell etc. Great if you are "just doing the job", not so good if you need good quality. Basic tools seem a bit pricey, and the budget range is a bit Mickey Mouse. I understand that the customer drives the market, but I can't see the issue buying a case or two of Silkolene/Shell/Mobil as it has a pretty long shelf life ????

Would like to say that the guys at fast fit on salhouse road are amazing ,they always go the extra mile for the customer and I always find their appraisals to be honest,by that I mean you go to some places and they try to sell you things you dont really need. I send both of my children there to have tyres exhausts and batteries. I was there on Saturday morning as the back box had separated from my exhaust on my Mitsubishi,they could not source the part required so after a short discussion they agreed to weld it for me .words cannot Express how pleased and relieved I was especially as this was one of their busiest days of their week ,I have been going there for years and will continue to do so .so thanks again guys
