Never in my life have I seen a less caring Police service. Anytime I've called I get passed all over the place, and no one wants to help.
Someone below left a review about the non-emergency guy, and I couldn't agree more. Guy did not care at all, even though I've had my life ruined for months on end. Absolutely zero empathy. No wonder Police has so little respect these days

I had to go in to file a police report & criminal record check. They were extremely helpful while explaining how to fill in the forms and the whole time they were very patient and understanding.
I've also had to call a couple of times and they were nothing but professional and promptly took care of the NON-EMERGENCY issues. [There are a couple reviews on calling in about emergencies (drunk drivers); you should call 911 for cases like that. The police will try and get you off the phone as soon as possible so that you can dial 911 to report those.

I live next to a problem house with a lot of drinking and partying downtown, which was bad enough before COVID. Getting the police to do anything is like pulling teeth, and after weeks of getting away with it, the kids have only gotten louder and more obnoxious.
I have to presume the police have with stopped caring about the overwhelming, uncontrollable student population in town, or else some kid in that house is under daddy's protection.
Excited to be moving out of London in two days! Fingers crossed my taxes pay for a more responsive and community-oriented police force in the future.

I spent 3 days in holding cells and was refused nutigrain bars by multiple officers and they never called my lawyer in those 3 days ended up going to jail for the first time because of this lack of doodiligence would of went far the one guard also stepped on my shoe on the way in and just smiled and said keep moving its there excuse for not giving nutrigain bars was my shifts almost over pathetic human beings treating people less than human

They will go about to set up a dangerous situation. This can be something simple as waiting for someone to be placed back into an apparent negative situation, then breaking down the door to rescue said individual period this in my opinion, is a great waste of police power and brutality, and of course with Jeff Ordenue someone in the face. this again, did not lead to any form of criminal proceedings, only a charge based on what the police decided to do to a colored individual.
they will intentionally set up danger situations so they can either abuse their rights, or abuse and waste tax dollars. Maybe they think that in some cases they are going to get away with it. unfortunately for them this is not one of them.

I called to report a drunk driver who THREW a water bottle at me because we honked when he ran a red. Got sent to voicemail and do you think they ever called back? Nope. So that guys just still driving around drunk, not being held accountable for his actions. Great job protecting us =/

I called the traffic department to report the lights are out at Springbank Dr and Wonderland Rd the woman I spoke with was rude and didn’t care about anything I was saying, in fact she cut me off mid sentence and said have a nice day and said goodbye then hung up while I was trying to say something. WOW!
I witnessed a free for all the the intersection and no one was flowing the 4 way stop as they should have been , I asked if they could send a traffic officer to the area to direct traffic and possibly avoids some accidents. She said someone was already there, however I was there and there were no police.
All she needed to say was she would look into it and make sure it was taken care of!
She is someone who shouldn’t be answering the phones because she has no people skills! Shame on you

The front disc officer was very nice and helpful, the staff inside were easy and patiently helping.
They don’t have visitor’s parking, you have to pay for parking on the street close to the building or you arrange for dropping off.

A little bit obsessive towards their previous clients, however they are fairly accommodating and consistent. Rooms are pretty small and dirty, cold and bright- but you tend to get given the same rooms each stay. Wouldn't visit again thought, overbooked me by a long time.

Condescending, wipe their hands clean as soon as they can, literally do not care about the public at all and will take 30 minutes to show up .
My car was stolen and everything inside it was taken and when I called to see if they had any new information the file had been closed. I have this city. I don’t trust the police and I don’t feel safe in my home .
Thanks for nothing , in my opinion they’re just as bad as the people committing the crimes

I waited for the walk single at a main intersection to cross as I'm crossing, there are 2 cars waiting to turn. Sign said walk so I have the right of way the car in front of the cop car nearly hit me as I was crossing looked at the driver like are you paying attention. Sure enough I thought the cop behind would have pulled the driver over for coming that close to hitting a pedestrian, but nothing I was in shocked that cop would let that kind of driving be tolerated I guess the city of London police force has no respect for pedestrians. Or eye exams are not mandatory. That cop behind that driver should be ashamed of him self for not doing his job.

I’ve been in the process of changing my name, and getting a police record check has been harder than it should be. I brought in what I thought to be the correct forms, and I was laughed at. They can’t print you the right form, even though they have it. I called to clarify what form I should bring, and I was told to call the info line again which has none of the info I need. I am simply just looking for “bring in X form”. I hope in time that your system changes, and you are able to help the citizens that pay your bills. The actual police I’ve dealt with through living in London have been helpful and considerate, and I want to point out that none of this is any officers fault. I simply just hoped to receive more help inside of the office.

I reported a problem, no solution, no effort in help, I understand when you Express a concern they send officers to ones home to show they care.. but let's face the fact, they don't, theres funding provided by our communities for mediocre service at best, this is the worst service I've ever experienced and I'm sure I'm not alone with how I feel, london police do not help at all, this is how I feel and there needs to be a huge change.

Certainly came off quite bored as though any irrelevant waste of time I may mention up could only ever amount to an increase in his utter boredom.. - Oh but on the contrary dear unenthused yawner of our local "constabulary".

Well I hope you are happy. It is Christmas time again, and of course I was spending it alone. Why? Because I have no family left. I was accosted and beaten by the police, and accuse of apparently assaulting some women I met on the internet? This of course is found to be not true, but because of the legal embarrassment, and financial attachment to the situation, I of course will be spending the holidays by myself as a pariah. I certainly hope this was the reason and orl resolve the London police were hoping for, because you have certainly done your job. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you all.

Had property stolen from me and went to the foot patrol for help as they were the closest. They acted like I was making their lives hard and they were really doing me a favour. They failed to do anything even though I told them where the person was. I was lied to and not helped.

This was not a great experience. The cop tried everything he could to make me go away but I just wanted to file a report just to have the incident on record. It was a really eye opening experience, I always grew up thinking cops were friendly to upstanding citizens and would try their best to help someone out. Especially if they are scared. I just hope one day things improve and instead of being scared of a cop I can wave and say hey, how are you?

I called them last week to report a suspicious car at the north London dog park . They blew me off. I returned 3 hours later to see broken glass where the car was. I feel like it was a waste of time contacting them and that's a shame.

Police presence is non existent in South London ( White oaks). my community has called multiple times in the last few months about Trespassing, Driving under the influence and street racing. No one ever shows up and this continues to be a problem for us every night.
Update, Girlfriend called police to report people in our parking lot drinking and driving, the dispatch told her that they would do nothing because it's private property , then had the nerve to tell her that " maybe she should find another place to live" are you kidding me this is how you train your officers?The Criminal Code of Canada applies not only to public roads and highways but to private property as well...

I usually don’t post rants but I have been pulled over 14 times In London Between January 2019 – April 2019 this is harassment as I am in London for school originally from 15-20 mins east of Toronto and have only been pulled over once in 3 years until I come to London
I have been thrown in the back of a police car at 12:30 in the afternoon and told to do a breathalyzer
I get pulled over driving around for no reason, I even had 2 jobs lined up for the summer that I denied/ quit as I was tired of getting pulled over 14 times within 4 months
Get questioned on what I do for a living, how I afford the car is it bought cash, financed or leased if I own the car etc
Well on the 14th time I received a ticket for a plate cover April 20 2019 so today (July 30 , 2019 ) I went to court for the ticket I was able to get it reduced. That officer David Ewing who I went to court against and he’s the one who gave me the ticket in the first place. He stood in the Courtroom with a smirk on his face the entire time and once court was over, I paid for my ticket. Then headed to my car started the car and put on the ac as it was a sunny hot day, I then sat in my car for a couple of minutes and set up my Bluetooth for my phone – car. I exited the parking lot , I got pulled over not even a second with being on the road. I notice it is DAVID EWING again. He tells me that i was idling too long as they have a 2-minute rule in London if the temperature is between 5 degrees – 27 degrees. I didn’t even know this law existed as I am not from London and the fact that I was wearing a dress shirt and dress pants, so I let my car cool down a couple of minutes before driving. well I went on the weather app and it was 27 degrees feeling like 31. So he takes my license and registration and goes back to his car which is idling by the way and I sit there for about 10-15 minutes while he writes me a ticket for “NO PERSON SHALL IDLE A MOTOR VECHICAL FOR MORE THEN 2 CONSECTIVE MINUTES”.
He was waiting for me to leave and was going to pull me over for anything. After the fact,
I went to the staff SGT M’Creedy to file a harassment claim against David and when I go back to the courthouse David is in the parking lot yet again so obviously he is targeting me and harassing me just left to pull me over then go back to court
