These guys are completely useless. My vehicle was broken into and a bunch of tools stolen. Next day I found items on kijiji that were clearly mine, all by the same seller. They told me theres nothing they can do because I dont have "proof". They let these guys go around stealing and when people give them a clear path to catching them they're too lazy to follow up on it. Makes me sick my tax money is paying these guys to sit around and do nothing.

After seeing a funny meme I decided to check out the reviews ????♂️ I give 5 stars! I have met, know, and dealt with some wonderful police officers. I was once pulled over by constable Noel and I must say everyone should be more like him! Patient, understanding, calm, yet stern as it should be. I have had one or two officers where I felt like they were trying to provoke something out of nothing at the front desk two years ago. I’m sure they deal with a lot but I went to help retrieve a lost item for a friend who has a mental health issue and the hot headed guy at the front desk seemed a little excited to get a rise out of my friend even though she waited back because of her illness’s and previous encounters (also illness related) But every human is different and I know it’s a tough job but every situation in life is unique so go in open minded assess each situation as it unravels.
Rant over. Overall summery Officer Noel rocks, treat cops with respect and you get respect back.

Called 911 for a trespasser lurking in mine and my neighbours yard, and no one showed up. My advice is get a gun license and deal with it yourself, cause the cops won't show up and don't really care what is going on outside of their 5 mile zone surrounding their police station. This is the second time I have called and no one shows up. No wonder people 'swat', because it is the only way to get them to show up. What a disgrace. What is the point of an emergency service if you don't respond. They should be known as never responders rather than first responders .

Requested a police report near the end of July, paid over $50, and waited more than six weeks to receive it. Upon opening the document, I discovered that it was not embossed with their seal and my place of employment would not accept it. I now live in Windsor, so I called and asked if they could send a new one with the embossment to which I was told I would have to come in person. I do not own a car and London isn't exactly a hop, skip, and a jump away from Windsor. I ended up having to request another police report from Windsor Police and since I required the document by a deadline (which was no problem when I requested the one from London) I had to pay express fees on top equalling $105. I have now paid +$160 for a piece of paper. Absolutely rediculous!

To get a criminal record check we have to wait for a month , to investigate about the financial fraud they need at least a year .. I never had such a experience anywhere in Canada

Would given zero stars. I saw my neighbour beaten by 6 officers. He is young and black. It did not look good watching men in their 40 with grey hair beating a 20 something kid. I later find out they didn't even charge him?!
This farce is what your taxs are paying for.

I just had to deal with a police officer (Isabel Cassidy) about a domestic issue. She told me that there is nothing that she can do. She almost seemed annoyed that I was bothering her. She is absolutely outrageous. I can not believe this is a real police officer. How does she even keep this job. I hope all of her friends and family see all these reviews about her on Google and what the public thinks about her. I'm clearly not the only one. You can't ignore this. How is she still employed and not been investigated. Despicable person!!!!

Prompt Service, very friendly. Much like a review for a resort.. please filter those that sound outlandish and exaggerated. Many people who do not get exactly what they want throw stones. What they don't realize is that most people really never have to call the Police.. for anything.. especially their daily problems ( you know who you are., sort it out) . I was involved in an accident and they were more than helpful and compassionate.

During a serious crime I was the victim of many years ago, the response was excellent from beginning to end. Recently there was an incident on my street where a crime may or may not have occurred. For almost two days and nights, in two cruisers - one in front, and one in back - the officers just sat in the cars doing nothing that I could see. I realize it is necessary to secure scenes, but is there not a better way to do it than to employ highly paid officers to babysit a house for all that time? Perhaps use auxilliary police being paid much lower wages? I know it sometimes appears that officers tend to ignore obvious smaller drug deals on the street, etc., but I believe these people are often watched in order to find information on bigger criminals. We would need factory sized warehouses (a lot of them) to house all those addicts openly making small purchases. Often these low level addicts are little more than victims themselves. I have always found officers to be kind and helpful, which is not to say that I trust these attitudes. Manipulation is the name of game on both sides of the fence. If you are a law abiding person, that should not matter. They have been most polite and helpful in all cases I have been part of. Lets not blame the officers, lets have a closer look at the way the budget money is delegated and spent.. Also, I have been an activist, and yes, received more scrutiny than others and I find this is sometimes warranted. As for several cars responding to one call, perhaps a little 'overkill', but do we really want our officers getting killed at the rate they are down in the USA? When cops swarm, in my experiences, it is usually because they are dealing with known bag guys, in unknown situations; or domestic disputes which can be very violent for the police as well as the participants.

Bought and paid for by the Hell's Angels, they won't even close down an illegally operated Marijuana 'Dispensary' that is selling laced marijuana which has caused lung infections in at least 4 people that I know. PSA Don't buy from 'London relief center, or TMT Compassion'. They are both owned by Hell's Angel's and are operating with impunity selling terrible laced garbage.

Spoke on the phone for a general question and the woman was SO RUDE! I was nothing but polite. Then after she had (very rudely) answered my question she promptly hung up on me before I could ask a question based on her answer.
HIRE NEW STAFF!!
I've never seen staff, especially at a police station, so rude and inconsiderate.

"Officer" Isabel Cassidy is an absolute joke. Does not care about her job at all. This is exactly why she is working the front desk at the police headquarters. She's far too incompetent to work the streets where the job is important. That's how relevant she is to the Service.

Police Chief should be fired! My wife and young toddler attended Tim Horton's on Horton & Wellington Street (20 March 2019). An individual with a 6-8" knife tried to enter the store and threaten customers. He had accosted individual's only minutes earlier on the street. The Police were called and told of the urgency but have since failed to attend the scene (at the time of writing it has been almost 1 hour). I am appalled that the Police do not take such a matter seriously. There is no excuse in my mind for such a failure of public duty. London Police are a disgrace and in desperate need of new leadership!

if you have a complaint, document EVERYTHING including when you called and contents of the call, who responded or didnt respond, any paper, online, witnesses to their abusive and negligent behaviour and then file a formal complaint with the OIPRD. google their web site and download or file the complaint form online.
do NOT let these thugs 'get away with it'. theyre counting on your apathy and laziness and ignorance of the complaint process.

Whatever your circumstances are, we should always keep in mind that they are humans and we should treat them with respect, they will treat us with respect. The police men and women have done a great job at keep the city of london peaceful, and we should all greatful for them, becuase they put their lifes on the line everyday.

The police in London are bored and overpayed. They follow and treat activists like criminals, avoid real police work, and swarm with unnecessary numbers to a single call. The Community Oriented Response (COR) unit is the biggest bunch of bullies in this town. One night I was using wifi outside of Starbucks, and three officers that recognized me used that opportunity to violate my privacy, harass me for more than half an hour, and threaten charges that didn't exist to try to scare me. There should be a zero stars option for this "service".

Last night I was grabbed by the throat and pushed to the ground showed the cops photos as it took the police 2 hours to show up and the crack head even said he did it and yet the police tell me they can't do anything about it but yet if a boyfriend hits his partner he is in jail but when a male drug dealer attacks a women it's OK I work my ass off everyday and pay my taxes and u so called protect people do nothing think it would make a good story for the london free press police wonder why the public Hayes them so much they are useless and only help there own family's I really don't understand why we even have police in London when all they do is nothing

I can understand the frustrations people have, but keep in mind these people are BUSY. It's not just law enforcement they are tasked with. I live downtown and it's only the LPS that is keeping order down here. It's not just criminal events, but they're often the first called for social services. Drugs, homelessness, poverty that are rampant down here.

Today, at around 5 PM, I dialed 911 to report that I was assaulted and threatened with being knifed at the rear of 301 Baseline Road West. I provided the operator with all the details and as of right now, 10:26 PM on Wednesday night, I still haven't heard from nor received a call from LPS.I do NOT feel neither Served nor Protected.
