I went here with a minor injury that needed medical attention and a tetanus injection. It was easy to find following the signs from London bridge station., Staff were professional and polite, from the reception and checking in which was easy and the security staff showing people the way at the entrance. I was treated quickly (less than half hour) by an ENP (emergency nurse practitioner) who gave me local anaesthetic, dealt with my wound, a tetanus shot and advice and what to look out for. The whole visit was over in an hour. Very professional service and high standard of care,

I fell off my bike and dislocated my shoulder yesterday, and thankfully I was near this Urgent Care Centre. I walked, and before I could even explain what happened to the receptionist, a practitioner saw my shoulder and rushed me into the first open bay. Within 5 minutes, my shoulder was snapped back into place. Within 30 minutes I had x-rays taken upstairs. And within 45 minutes, the entire ordeal was over with and I was on my way home. Along the way, I was treated professionally at every step. I'm so grateful to have had this accident so close to such a great centre.

My husband and son came to the centre this evening, only to be greeted by a very rude and very surly elderly receptionist who showed zero empathy or sympathy towards my son who recently had a serious shoulder operation and needed some advice regarding his wound. Another nurse showed more empathy but this other lady was awful, if she doesn’t like working with the public she should not be working at the centre, just totally unacceptable. My son is a placid lad and just needed reassurance not his head bitten off.

My experience with the centre and the doctor/nurse was very positive compared to other A&E or care centres I went to. As always, you need to expect long waiting hours but the GP thoroughly checked on me and diagnosed a chest infection. I was prescribed the needed drugs and released after 3 hours in total. I would recommend it.

I think this is a great resource supporting NHS services so consequently they are busy. I personally waited 2.5 hours to been seen but that was because they do ensure that more urgent cases are prioritised. I found the staff courteous and helpful. and I am grateful for the excellent service I received whilst feeling unwell.

Been checked and provided with medicine. To all as.hats who give 1 star. This people working 12 hours on daily bases. They do there best to help, stop saying horrible things because you had to wait couple hours. I spent 4 hours waiting was tough but there was so many injured and sick, who need help before me. It's could be better ut it also could be so much worse.

Straight up one of the best Urgent care departments ever. The hospital is well kept, staff were very friendly/helpful(It was my first time so I didn't know where to go) and I was seen, assessed and discharged just under an hour and a half after I arrived. Kept informed on what would happen to the X-ray and my contact details

We have visited the minor injuries department at Guy's few times and always have had excellent service. Receptionists, triage nurses and GPs are a dedicated team of professionals. Can get very busy. Always very grateful for looking after us.

I will not be returning to this urgent care. My first experience here was when I took a friend, and we had an excellent experience. We were taken into a doctor in less than 30 mins and the doctor and nurses were very sweet and understanding to her case. I went by myself over the past weekend, and didn't have a doctor I loved, he didn't really examine me, but was able to diagnose me with a test and prescribe me antibiotics for my infection so I was happy enough . When he was prescribing them to me, I let him know that I do have an allergy to penicillin and am generally very antibiotic sensitive. I almost always have to change to something else after my first antibiotic prescribed. He thought I was full of it, but sure enough I was back here 2 days later after noticing some strange side effects to my first antibiotic. I had to wait 3 hours for a antibiotic change that could have been resolved in 10 mins, as I'd already been diagnosed with an infection, but the recepitionist and nurse were persistent that the doctor needs to examine my allergic reactions first which is why I will need to wait to see someone to give me a proper examination. I'm now seeing a new doctor different from my first experience that also didn't believe me that I had sensitivities to antibiotics, after telling him my throat was feeling swollen which again 0 examination (after the receptionist and nurse kept telling me that the doctor needs to do) He was pushy with me and frustrated with me as I didn't know what Antibiotics I wasn't allergic to, which is unfair as I have not tried every single antibiotic on the planet. He was rude with me, when all I wanted is new treatment. I think this urgent care is extremely inconsistent with its care. Some staff are good and some are not very good! So one time you will have a great experience, next horrible! I would rather pay privately for a better experience when it comes to my health, and wellness, unfortunately not everyone can afford to do that so they should become more consistent with the service they are providing!

Absolutely recommend this urgent care centre for non emergency walk-in issues. Easy to access from London Bridge station with plenty of signs, the reception staff are very helpful and friendly. I had a short waiting period and was seen to by a lovely doctor who was very knowledgable, caring and professional! Even for a Sunday afternoon, this was an easy and efficient trip to the hospital.

I’ve been here twice and I’ve been lucky enough to be waiting only one hour to be visited. Staff is great, very nice and helpful.

Absolutely awful. Wrong opening hours written on google and DESPITE calling ahead to confirm and walking all the way here in a lot of pain, I got refused due to 'hitting capacity' with only a few people in the waiting room. I was met with a complete lack of compassion by all 4 members of staff sitting at the front desk looking like they were doing nothing and quite frankly like they just wanted to go home. After an attitude of 'theres nothing we can do' and 'we dont control google, do you expect us to stay open 24hours', I was directed to go to Waterloo despite being in a lot of pain to walk. In the past I would have said this was quite a caring unit but clearly, that's completely changed!

Great service. Arrived in the morning at 1050 and was seen by nurse specialist within 10 minutes - up to x-ray - again only a 10 minute wait and then back down to the unit where I was seen immediately by the nurse practitioner. The same lady called me later in the afternoon to say they had found something on the x-ray and would I return to collect a boot and crutches. It was a quiet day though and I can imagine it can get very busy and they have limited capacity. I'm keeping the review at 5-stars as this overrides the rudest reception staff person ever - who refused to send my notes over to the fracture clinic at Lewisham Hospital which necessitated an extra journey to hand deliver them myself in order to make an appointment for a future date. An equally rude reception person at Lewisham too very much spoiled my experience. Really it takes no extra work to be nice.

First time and probably the last time I use the Urgent Care Centre at Guys. Turned up only to be turned away because they were too busy. I thought Urgent Care Centres were designed to take the pressure off A&E ????????‍♂️

Have visited their Urgent Care Centre on Saturday with a high temperature, swollen lungs and severe pain in my throat and ear while swallowing. Not only I have waited for approximately 2 hours until someone called me over but even then I have not received any appropriate service or medical help. They have given me paracetamol to reduce the temperature and tried to convince me that what I was feeling was absolutely normal and it was not more than just a virus. After a 5 min consultation I have been prescribed with ibuprofen and paracetamol while the man completely ignored my complaints in regards to the pain in my lungs and ears. Two days later the state of my illness got significantly worse as I could barely swallow and eventually I realized that there is blood coming out of my lungs. After another hospital visit in Kings College I have been finally prescribed, though after a good 3 hour wait due to lack of staff, appropriate medication; antibiotics and strong painkillers, while being diagnosed with tonsilitis which could have had severe consequences if I waited for another day or two. All in all, pathetic and very negligent service that made me as a foreigner in this country very discouraged by the health system and people that work there.
