We went to Pooja in Kingsbury- we asked for bhel and all chutneys separate - due to allergies and illness. We were refused and they said will not give us the chutneys and adamant they will put it in the bhel. We asked for explanation and they said we don’t give it separately which is NOT TRUE - family got the same order a few weeks ago and guess what they got all chutneys separately. So why were we refused this time? It was not an unreasonable request. We received the worst customer service, unfriendly staff and and no regards to our dietary needs. Anyway we ended up in bansuri kingsbury - without prompt all chutneys for our bhel was provided separately, with amazing customer service.

Poor quality sweets (Pooja Sweets - Kingsbury). Poor customer service too! Place looks run down and not very well kept (hygenic). Bought some Jalebis, very sub standard. Will not be returning.

One of the good Indian sweet and savoury shop. My only suggestion please provide customers good tasty chutney as well with savoury products. The one you provide is not good at all yogurt mint one. Most of the savoury shops provide at least 2 different types mainly tamarind and chilli base. Your chutney doesn't compliment your savoury products at all that's the reason I gave 4 star. I visited your shop week ago to buy few savoury products and I was really surprised you don't make any hot chilli based chutney as informed by one of your staff.

This is first rime I placed an order on 25th July 18 and it supose to be delivered on 27th July 18 but instead of my delivery I received a phone call from a lady telling me I not going to receive it till Tuesday 31st July 18 ! The excuse was we run out of low calorie sweets and person who make them was off. To me running big business like this online retail and excuse was ridiculous and where as I paid for next day delivery i think you should stop this next day delivery like to attract the customer

Went on Diwali. Bought 10 somosas. Of course wanted a box due to the special occasion. First manager said she's won't give box due to them being warm. So i said i will take the box separately and fill up once cooled. Then said no we don't give a box even if you buy 1000 somosas. Then said will only give if I pay. For 35p they could have made a regular customer happy on diwali. So many excuses before explaining that there's a charge if you buy savoury no box. Rude and embarrassed me in the shop as everyone went silent. Made to feel unhappy unnecessarily on a good day. For what was eventually down to 35p. Could have been honest straight up versus making up a whole host of excuses.

Was in the area and thought we'd try this place as there was a big queue. Great products and prices were super cheap too. We only had the hot food and savoury products so can't attest for the sweets but the savoury was all great. Dokla, samosa, Pakoras.

I am concerned about the fact that people tend throw stale bread and seeds outside Pooja in Kingsbury . This habit is unnecessary and unhygienic, it invites vermain such as mice and makes the pavements dirty and people step into this and carry it inside the shops. The management can do something about this, they could put up a notice on their window to discourage people feeding the birds. They can get together with other shops and take appropriate action as it is our duty to keep Brent tidy.

Very very bad customer service.
Went to the shop to get kaju katli. Guy in the shop showed me a box of 2.5 kg.
Asked him to pack in 2 separate box of 1kg and 1 box of 500gm.
This moron actually kept some of the content from the original box saying that all the other 3 boxes now weigh 2.5 kg.
Argued with him but it seems they charge for boxes. Gave an additional £1.70 to get the remaining sweets packed.

Thank you for the response.
Firstly the guy at the counter didn't give me a choice that i will have to pay extra.
Secondly he said that the extra charge is for the boxes and not labour.
Last but not the least he still kept around 100 grams of sweets saying that now the total of 3 boxes is 2.5kg and he can't pack more.
I'm not complaining about the quality of sweets or not even the extra charge but the way you treat your customers.
