I have to say, following this post, I visited Pooja for some gluten free items. I have to say I was disappointed with the staff attitude. I wanted some advice on which items I could choose to buy. The first assistant looked at me like if landed from another planet. Then he passed me on to another man who may have been the manager. Trying to explain a wheat allergy was like trying to pull teeth. First he told me I couldn't buy any of the burfi because it's not made in a gf kitchen. I tried to repeatedly explain, my home kitchen is not gluten free either. I just need to know there is not any wheat flour in any of the ingredients. He continued to be somewhat impatient and lacked any understanding of the fact I just want items without wheat flour. He continued to tell me I couldn't have items because they had ghee in them. Trying to explain once more, I only cannot eat wheat. Ghee is not wheat. I really felt regret for even entering the shop at all. The only reason why I remained was becuase I really wanted to try their sweets. In the end the waiting customers in the shop were extremely friendly and helpful. They voluntarily recommended items I could eat. Yes the items are very nice. The price is reasonable and I like the eco friendly carrier bag. If I return, it will speak a lot for their products, because it won't be for the friendly staff. They need to understand allergies and what qualifies as the wheat plant (the difference between wheat grain and ghee fat) and just because they don't understand, they shouldn't make the customer feel unwelcome in the shop.

Good service, bhel from hell (ok not that bad) but for me it felt like it was made with leftovers, very small chunks of potatoes not appetising. Maybe other people prefer is this way

Just been here 5 minutes ago. I come to Pooja Sweets once a year. I buy sweets for colleagues to give them a taste of Indian sweets. This place always lives up to the expectations. In addition, the lady gave me lovely calenders for the new year. No complaints for the food or the service. Top notch!!

My friend bought puff pastry from Pooja and she found Fungus in it. Very unhygienic. No idea how Pooja got hygiene rating 5. Also many of the time found stale ladoo and pani puries. Not happy. :-(

Was visiting a friend in the vicinity and she said this place is a must try. I picked up some Bengali sweets and other stuff for home.. oh my God ! I think I'm in food heaven. Bengali sweets are very very authentic. In a way I'm happy I don't stay close by, would have been very tough to watch the weight ! Already waiting to visit Kingsbury again !
