I don't use the word "outstanding" very often but the service from Attenborough Jewellers and Pawnbrokers has been nothing short of OUTSTANDING.
Nothing has been too much trouble for them. The team helped pull together a stunning ring for me to give to my wife for putting up with me for 20 years. Charlton took the time to hand pick the diamonds, sapphire and ring mount. They created something totally bespoke.
My wife was blown away by the rings beauty.

My fiance and I have just bought our wedding rings from here. We didn’t intend to buy them from a pawnbroker - we just went in to browse - but the range was so nice, they can adjust them, and Darren was really kind, knowledgeable and not pushy, so in the end we went back there. I have just picked the rings up having had them re-sized and we are thrilled with the appearance, sizing and quality. We’ve paid less than half we would have done if we had bought them new. Highly recommended, and thank you so much Darren - you’ve made us even more excited about our wedding than we were already.

I dropped in to have my favorite chain necklace mended and Brad took care of it brilliantly. The gold chain has a brand new link and it's like new again! Attenborough’s did the most fantastic job resizing, cleaning and redoing all the claws on a really old (we’re talking 1890’s!!) ruby and diamond engagement ring. I honestly could not fault the service. All the staff my partner and I spoke to showed an absolute passion and knowledge for jewellery, and we could tell they really understood the sentimental value of our family ring. They were speedy with the service (2 weeks from dropping off to collecting, for quite a lot of work) and completely transparent with all the pricing options, so we knew exactly what we were getting. I’m looking forward to using Attenborough’s again. Great to have such a reliable local service.

I took my watch to have the battery changed think it'd died. Apparently not! The little knob on the side had somehow come out (never thought to check ????????). I was served by Brad (better looking than Pitt ????)and he was absolutely amazing. He even fixed the loop on the strap for free. Fantastic service. Keep it up. ????????????

I had a Swarovski pendant earring to make into a necklace, and four jewellers had turned me away as it was too small a job. This is a very sentimental piece from a family member. Brad was extremely professional explaining to me the best way to go about it, and had it fixed in no time at all. Excellent service, would highly recommend for any repairs or purchases.

Popped in to Attenborough's to see if they could fix a broken necklace. Darren got out all the knots in the chain and then added a new clasp so I could wear the necklace again. Best of all, Darren refused to take a penny from me for his help! Highly recommend Attenborough - and Darren especially - for their friendly, personal service

Attenborough's was recommended by a friend of mine and I can see why. I called them yesterday to see if I could pop by and chat about selling my engagement ring. I turned up today and he remembered me. He was very friendly, informative and very fair. I was previously quoted £600 from Hatton garden but he offered me much closer to my asking price. I would definitely do business with Brad again and would recommend them to friends and family. Thanks again Brad for all your help. I can now give my daughter a great holiday with the cash.

I went to Attenborough Jewellers one day upon recommendation from a friend of mine. I was first served by Brad who was really friendly and welcoming. He was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in assisting me purchase some gold rings. He was patient with me as i proceeded to try on (almost) every ring from the shop window. I was really happy to be leaving on my first trip with two beautiful gold rings.
My second trip and i was served by James, this time round i wanted to get some old rings resized and repaired. James assisted me in getting this done, he too was very patient with me and on that occasion i left with a necklace and my trust in them that my sentimental rings would be in safe hands while i left them there to be repaired. A couple of weeks later and i recieved a call to go and collect them and i couldn't be happier with the repairs they had done on all 3 pieces.
I will be going back again soon and have recommended them to friends and family. Great jewellers and lovely staff. Thank you - Niki x

Even though this jewellers wasn't able to carry out the silver repairs I needed (they don't do silver repairs), I would recommend them purely for their decency and honesty. They were upfront and helpful about what was and wasn't possible, gave good advice on the lack of VFM for a ring repair, gave a good guide price for a silver pendant repair elsewhere and directed me to Delan Jewellers on Roman Road who did a good job.
