The man who came, Paul, was very helpful and fixed the leak, which was what was most bothering me. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day so he was not able to ascertain whether or not the system was working. We think it is not. He outlined what needed to be done if it is not and said he would send us an estimate of the cost. Hope to get that.

It’s refreshing talking to people who really care about what they do.
I have been receiving cold calls from “companies” claiming my installers had gone out of business and I was over due an upgrade, I called the people who installed for us and they had in fact gone out of business however I didn’t understand why I needed to upgrade.
I looked online and found Rayotec, my call was answered almost immediately, Perry in Solar quickly explained that there are hundreds of people getting these kind of cold calls and they’re almost always fraudulent.
After going through my system with Perry he concluded that my system was perfectly fine the way it is, he answered every question I had in a very professional but friendly manner and provided me with a fair quote for servicing as my installers were no longer around.
We will definitely be using Rayotec moving forward.

We contacted Rayotec following a tube in our Solar Thermal hot water system being damaged by a third party. We live in Bucks and Perry Viner from Rayotec explained that he doubted their quote would be competitive due to the travelling distance for their team . He still showed concern and clearly explained what work needed to be done. Not only did he then send us a link to the MCS website, to enable us to find a more local company to do the work but answered further emailed questions that we had. Based upon this telephone and email contact, we have been very pleased on the assistance we have been given.

We contacted Rayotec when our solar water panels stopped providing us with hot water.
My point of contact at the office was with Mr Viner, a very helpful and polite gentleman who asked me numerous questions regarding my solar to try and diagnose if a fault was present.
My solar was in dire need of new glycol as the last service was completed over 6 years ago, we were never told about the up-keep of the system.
Mr Viner provided us with a fair quote for the works and we were scheduled in with no fuss.
I would have no hesitation at all in using Rayotec again in the future.

DO NOT BUY WIFI THERMOSTAT FOR U/F HEATING (not Neo)
I purchased three room kits with the wifi thermostats that didnt need a hub connected to the router. The room stats are cheap rubbish, all three would not calibrate to the room real temperature or if they could, there was no way of finding out how from the rubbish instructions, two of them initially connected to the wifi then simply stopped working, one never connected at all. One room was subsequently boiling as the room stat thought it was 14 degrees, another needed to be set to 25 to work at all. Rayotec response - from the guy who wrote the instructions, after multiple emails and calls was 'send them back to get them replaced' with three more that wont work!

I called in last week and spoke to the Solar Team who went above and beyond to help me.
My family had solar installed by a company who have since gone out of business, I spoke with Perry regarding the concerns I had about my system, he talked me through a hard restart and thankfully since then my system has been fine, just in time for the gorgeous weekend just passed.
I can’t recommend Rayotec enough, look no further for anything Solar Powered. We will definitely be using them for all our future maintenances.

Contacted Rayotec to assist with my Solar PV issue. Original thought was the inverter and having discussed everything with the company the engineer (Dave) visited me and discovered that the problem stemmed from one of the panels.
The engineer carried out the tests needed and isolated the offending panel, leaving me with a working system.
If I am able to find a replacement panel then Rayotec will fit it for me. Bearing in mind the particular panel is no longer manufactured the engineer gave me all his expert advise for the options to move forward.
There was no issue with him returning the new inverter back to base and refunding me the cost difference from the deposit already paid up front.
Everything was done in an efficient and friendly way and good communication with Perry and his team throughout either by email or telephone.
When the inverter does inevitably fail, as they do not last for ever, I shall be happy to use the services of Rayotec Ltd.
in summary: A very helpful and friendly team to deal with.

I have to say I never tend to leave reviews but simply had to make an exception with Rayotec.
From start to finish I received professional advice from the Solar team.
I was put through to Mr Perry Viner and I can safely say this man knows his stuff. He made sure he had as much information on my system as possible, asked me many questions to try to narrow down the problem. He then booked me in for a maintenance visit with one of the engineers, I work a really tight schedule but he made sure I was booked in for a date that worked for ME. Not something you get with many companies.
The following day Mr Viner called me back after having got in contact with one of his engineers and asked me to run through a couple of things. He then asked me to try restarting my system which I did and the inverter started up as if nothing happened and has since worked perfectly.
Don't hesitate to contact Rayotec if you're experiencing problems with your Solar panels. I've spoken with a few different Solar companies and these guys truly care about their customers.
10/10 Service from a lovely family ran business.

They then contacted me by phone to discuss it further and suggested a solution. A visit was arranged but the suggested solution fixed the problem so the visit was cancelled with no problem. I found them to be very helpful.

Recently had electric underfloor heating installed in the whole of my ground floor rooms(60+m2).
From my first dealings with this company I was impressed with their knowledge and overall helpfulness.
My main dealings was with James who I can not speak more highly of his professionalism.
From quote to installation was a matter of weeks. Excellent communications throughout, so not left once you handed over your money.
Arrived on a Saturday(I know) , from start to finish kept me informed, explaining everything along the way. Cleaned up and instructed me on the use of the Thermostats.
Forget "Warm up" go for this company, far superior product and installation service at a far cheaper price.
So thank you from one grateful customer who wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

BEWARE of the Solar Maintenance department! In trying to avoid the Cowboys I thought to look to Rayotec, a long established Company. HOWEVER the Manager of maintenance is a SHARK!
PLEASE make sure you read & fully understand their terms & conditions when you engage them & certainly before they send anybody to your property.
Their engineer recharged our system (Supplied & Installed by a Company no longer trading) checked it was operating correctly & sadly on the hottest April day since 1986 mysteriously left the system OFF. That afternoon it reached 128 degrees, heat & pressure then caused a leak on the roof. Scaffolding, 2 roofing engineers & £882 later, a pipe/ joint is the problem & is removed in the hope that it can be replaced.
A week later an email arrives stating “I have discussed with Karl his findings and he said that whilst he can get the system running, if required parts were available, but further problems would be likely in the future. The special flexible connectors between the solar panels are special fitting provided by the solar panel maker / installer and we have no means of contacting them”.
So now I am left with a missing pipe & no Solar at a Dead End! Yes wait for it ...”Read our terms & conditions”! Would I recommend Rayotec NOT A CHANCE! AVOID!
A simple Google search finds a German supplier with a £13 replacement pipe kit …

Have laid new engineered wood flooring in our notoriously cold front hall with Rayotec Underfloor heating system and we now open the front door to a invitingly warm hall now! I would heartily recommend this heating system to anyone wishing to avoid ugly radiators.
