I called Rayotec recently to enquire about help and information regarding an upgrade of our 9 year old solar installation to an "optimised" system. This was my 1st time of speaking to the company Rayotec and I was dealing with a representative called Perry. Perry was friendly, charming, extremely professional and so helpful, quite frankly I was taken back with his knowledge and intention to clarify detailed solutions to all my quite specific questions. What an ambassador of Rayotec! Without doubt I knew this was a company I would chose to work with; and after reviewing their independent feedback I was convinced I needed to look no further for my Solar powered requirements . I contacted Rayotec for underfloor heating and couldn't have been more pleased with their service, product and professionalism throughout. They helped me get the right product for me which was very easy to install too. Delivery was super fast so I didn't have to wait long once I'd decided to go for it. When I had a question after the system had been installed they were very knowledgable and helped me out straight away. Excellent service and would recommend them!

Rayotec were incredibly helpful with our queries around their electric underfloor heating and delivery very swift.
The Palziv insulation mat unrolls easily and you can cut to size with a Stanley knife. We taped it down to a board base using a combination of double-sided tape and insulation tape at the seams.
The heating mat itself is a matter of unrolling and cutting to shape - I recommend a bit of forward planning with this and starting where your electric supply/thermostat control will be. We tested the mat before unrolling, before cutting and after cutting to ensure it was all fine prior to the Quickstep laminate going on top (no insulation between). Within a few minutes of being on you can feel the floor warming up and it gives a comfortable room-wide warmth rather than being blasted out from a single place like a radiator.
Am so pleased with the whole system as were the electrician & carpenter who connected it and did the flooring.

Excellent service as always having had both Solar Thermal and Solar PV panels fitted by Rayotec many years ago.
Our 9 year old inverter ceased working, the company were contacted last Friday and a new, more efficient modern inverter was fitted this afternoon (Tuesday). This says a great deal about their customer care especially in these trying times. Their engineer was both friendly and professional, completing the replacement in well under 2 hours, leaving us with a system showing healthy charging in the sunshine.
One could ask for nothing more.

We had our annual inspection of the solar installation and it was found that one of the converters had failed. Rayotec checked that it was still under warranty and then arranged to get a replacement sent to site, installed and then had the faulty unit returned to the supplier. The whole process was very simple and I was kept informed every step of the way of the shipment and estimated date of installation. They really do care about customer service. Thanks

Rayotec installed our solar thermal array ten years ago and it has performed faultlessly since then. Recently we had them back to decommission the system to allow us to change our DHW cylinder. They have just returned to get it back up and running again.
All our dealings with Rayotec have been exemplary. Communication with them was always excellent. It was always easy to get someone on the end of the phone when needed and we were kept informed in detail by email about all aspects of our work. When a technician visited our house they were always extremely professional. They were polite, tidy and, above all, very competent. I would highly recommend them.

I have decided to post this review because I have been totally impressed with the service I have received from Rayotec following a problem with my Solar PV system.
I made a call to Rayotec when my Inverter appeared to go wrong! I gave the details about the problem displayed to a very helpful lady called Mina she was unsure of what the problem was and called me back once she had spoken with one of their engineers. They gave precise advice on what the problem might be and we were able to get it fixed without the need for a call out from them, many companies would have taken the chance to make a call out and charge of ££££'s but they gave sound advice and clearly know what they are talking about. I am sure that due to my system being 10 years old now, I will need to make a call to them in the future and I have no hesitation in doing so, in fact its quite a relief to have a company that i'm sure I can trust (so many terrible companies out there giving wrong advice and charging huge amounts to do so !!!)

Rayotec have reviewed our solar panel system and disconnected a broken panel. They have been very easy to deal with and provided clear costings and information in advance of their visit. The engineer was very competent, efficient and on time. Everyone I have spoken to at Rayotec has been friendly and helpful, they even found a replacement panel for me on Ebay!

Technical advice and point of sale from all staff has been second to non. Steve has been especially helpful and has great knowledge of the products that are available.

We use Rayotec UFH in all of our rooms and find it to be really good quality and good value. The customer service from Stephen and Faris is always great too!
We recently had a very large project and Faris helped to go through all the requirements, different flooring types and methods of installation and control systems and send comprehensive quotations. For someone who know very little about UFH he made the whole process really simple.

I ordered two under floor heating mats from Rayotec. From my initial enquiry through to placing the order, their Email responses were prompt and helpful.
Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size of one mat and phoned the company to ask if they would accept a return and send a replacement. Every person I spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful and the whole process was smooth and straightforward.
I have dealt with many companies while sourcing materials for our new build and Rayotec is without doubt head and shoulders above the rest for customer service. I cannot fault them from my initial enquiry right through to sending the replacement item. A superb team. Thanks all

Easy appointment system with a friendly engineer arriving on time and suitably briefed about our issue. The engineer, David I believe, and his assistant/apprentice were happy to access our rather cluttered loft area to tackle the problem of patchy generation. Once established that our inverter - as suspected - was at fault, they consulted their office to check that the spare carried in their van was compatible and connected this new inverter to our system which now works perfectly. Very satisfied.

Please beware with their Solar department as you can end up spending a lot of money for nothing. I am being asked to pay £210 for a 20 minutes inspection although the reason they could not carry out the full service of the solar thermal heater was the model of the heater we had. If the model is this critical to a booked full service, why didn't the person who I booked the service with mention this and asked me to confirm the heater make/model before booking the full service? Also beware that their T&Cs are not at all customer friendly - they are basically all to do with the company making the highest profit at any cost.
When I complained, I expected them to deal with it with reason as mine was not a full service nor a call out but instead I was given the same explanation every time and infact they said even if the engineer had left because he could not carry the full service, they would have still asked me to pay £210. So please be extra careful. Their reviews on which may be biased too as the person I spoke felt very confident that my review I have written to which.co.uk will not be published as they will definitely side with the company. Anyways companies like this should be reported and reviewed. Never again will I contact them for anything after such a horrible customer service.

Repeat customer, bought an underfloor kit for the conservatory and then another for the new bathroom. Love the WiFi Controlled thermostat, so much easier than adjusting an awkwardly placed controller.
When an old thermostat from another supplier failed I knew where to go for a replacement. Steve even threw in free delivery for the repeat business. Thank you

I am one of many who’s original installers went out of business recently so I contacted Rayotec when I realised my panels had stopped generating during this all of this profitable sunshine in the hopes of assistance.
The Gentleman I spoke with was able to pinpoint the problem and got our system working in a matter of minutes. I will undoubtedly use Rayotec again moving forward and would happily recommend you to anyone facing similar issues.

I wanted our 5 year old solar thermal system serviced. Rayotec inspected it for £213 and reported it faulty due incorrect installation. Quote received for £1320 of remedial work. I challenged this but no reply was received. Contacted the original developer /installer and second inspection made. System serviced and topped up, 45 mins work £75.

Paul arrived on schedule and my wife showed him where the control panel and tank were located. I showed him where the rest of the system is (in the loft). He was polite, helpful, explained what he had done and why and left everything clean and tidy. I found him to be friendly and efficient and would be happy to recommend him and Rayotec .

Escalated things to the management and Reza came across as very stuck up and refused to help as it was not a rayotec installation.

Good afternoon, we have just completed a new Solar Panel installation for the Environment Agency at Red Kite House in Oxfordshire.
The company we used was called Rayotec and can I just say what a pleasure it was working with such a professional company, from start to finish the works were exceptional.
We had a install engineer called Paul Elliot who was polite and hard working and his knowledge of Solar heating was second to none.
All of the H&S documentation was supplied before works commenced and O&M manuals were issued after completion and handover.
Mina Sabba the contracts manager has a very hands approach and kept me supplied with all the answers to any queries I had.

Sol Services will be using the company again for any Solar Heating works.
