I have dealt with Lucy Banks (and Ed Meyer) at Savills Cambridge as a buyer and a seller. The advice they give is based on knowledge and facts - everything is logically backed-up. There is no spin or sales pitch. They know they are dealing with (in most cases) somebody's most valuable asset or highest value purchase and they act accordingly. They also add genuine value - ensuring difficult conversations don't get out of hand, keeping everything in perspective and working to avoid any misunderstandings - in what is often an emotional process. My transaction simply wouldn't have happened without their support. I have really high standards ... and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Savills (Lucy Banks) went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the sale went through - this was a difficult house to sell (300 years old, with some work needed) and in difficult times (Covid-19) - yet everything ended up successful. We have used Savills Cambridge both as tenants and more recently for the management of our own property. Having gone through a number of other letting agencies in the area we found Savills to be one of the better ones. As tenants they handled issues with the property quickly and were respectful with regards to viewings at the end of our tenancy. When looking to rent our own property everything was handled well and they managed to let the property very quickly. Overall, we have been very happy with the service provided by Paul, Fiona and the rest of the team.

With Thanksgiving approaching I've been thinking about everything I'm thankful for, and one of those things that came to mind was my experience with Savills Cambridge and my long overdue thank you. Moving from the States to Cambridge was a bit challenging (in many ways) when it came to finding a new home; from finding a good location to a landlord that would accept a pet. Kristina went above and beyond to work with me 3000 miles away, from communicating through mediums that worked for long distances to giving me a remote video tour of the property. Whether you have special circumstances or just moving across town, I would definitely recommend the Savills Cambridge team!

Kristina and Fiona were both courteous, helpful, and truly professional.This is the second time Kristina has helped me rent my apartment in Cambridge. I went back to Savills Cambridge on this occasion again because of Kristina. In both occasions Kristina has shown great knowledge of the market, great communication skills and wisdom in the tenant selection process and helping me see the transaction to conclusion. Fiona also played her part in arranging other service providers to undertake tasks for me in addition to supporting Kristina prepare for the tenancy. Example Fiona went out of her way to arrange the inventory person and someone else to do the EICR for me. Both Kristina and Fiona were very efficient in managing the entire process and truly exceptional. They went the extra mile! Savills went above and beyond to help navigate the buying of our home in Cambridge, which had some outstanding legal matters needing careful negotiation with third parties beyond buyer and seller. Without the proactivity and determination of the Savills agent, the sale would never have gone through, so full marks and then some for an outstanding effort. Professional, resourceful, creative, diplomatic; not words you normally associate with estate agents, but definitely applicable here.

We needed to sell our lovely old cottage, but it needed matching with the right people and Lucy from Savills understands property and understands people, both the potential purchasers AND the vendors. Along with her charming approach to everything, coupled with attention to detail, she brought the whole thing together to everybody's satisfaction and did it all so professionally she puts all other agents I have used to shame (and at 63, I have used many!)
So, whilst Savills are not the cheapest agents, I can see why and value for money was excellent and I cannot recommend Lucy too highly.

Savills Cambridge are a great team - Grace was simply fantastic, she clearly has an innate intuition for the convoluted negotiation process and we could always count on her for open, honest, astute advice. Ed was also a legend - it was a difficult sale - towards the end we were speaking three times a day and I honestly don't think it would have gone through if it weren't for his patience, resolve and adept management of all parties involved. I have a very positive experience renting from Savills Cambridge and I definitely recommend them. Ms Kristina Pascuzzi, the agent who assisted me throughout the process, was extremely helpful: from finding a time that worked for me to view properties, to getting the rental application approved, to helping me plan for my move-in. She answered all my emails in a matter of minutes (!) and she went out of her way to assist me when I asked her if I could visit the property before my move-in date to take measurements so that I could start arranging for my furniture. I interacted with a couple of other people and I can say that they are all courteous and professional.

After starting a rent and being tenant for 3 months now I have an overall positive experience with Savills. If I had to see the performance of the individuals, like Paul and Sophie, I'd give 5 stars without hesitation! Paul was always helpful, accurate, punctual and patient with us in finding our new flat while Sophie is giving professional and prompt support with issues. Unluckily seeing the whole experience apart from the individuals as a whole I cannot give 5 stars due to some organizational or other issues around the move in (unsecure email signature practice, delaying contract execution of signed contract to the last minute, missing keys at move in, very strong chemical residue in the oven requiring repeated cleaning, some other small defects) causing us extra time and effort results in my rating. Still, the overall picture is positive so far and we are satisfied now, Savills is highly suggested as agents for tenancy, they are much better than the agent we had the misfortune to rent from before.

Below comment depended on my experience with Savills Cambridge on 2019. This year on November 2020 I have rented another house with the same team (at the same development) but the experience was completely the opposite I'm afraid. It's been almost 2 months since we checked in the house and there were so many problems that needed to be fixed that I cannot list them all in this limited area. A list of vital items might give you an idea: Smoke alarm beeping every 30 seconds (took 1 week to fix it and it was only the replacement of battery!), broken window, broken bed, broken dishwasher, broken oven, broken microwave, broken (but at least working) hob. I've been waiting for the repairs patiently but this is really too much! I believe they don't give give enough attention to the problems that we have here and that's very bad.
We could have most of them repaired just before Christmas but we are still waiting for the dishwasher to be repaired! There are several less urgent issues that I want to raise with the property management but they're still in the queue :(
The check-in inventory report was also prepared so carelessly that I had to add 35 (Thirty-Five!) new items for the problematic points to the inventory report.
The conclusion of these two renting experiences is; I think we won't rent any more properties after this one until we can find a mortgage for buying our own house!...
