Went to look at a new bath, also in other places too. Went up to the showroom area as I want to be able to see the bath I'm buying, well the guy who was meant to help us wasnt very helpful considering he was a salesman within the showroom. All I wanted to know is if they had any deep baths, as a standard is too small. He pointed out one bath and said that he thinks this is the deepest, he couldn't tell us exactly how deep or even bother to go get the information that I'm sure he would have had access too as they want to sell their products, or so we thought! We ended up getting more information from the bathroom booklet that they had. Very poor service from a showroom!

Very poor experience from girl on check out. Bored. Product mispriced. No apology. Will be shopping elsewhere until Wickes get their act together. 1. Put up accurate prices. 2. Teach staff to apologise to customers for errors. 3. Smile and talk for fxxx sake you have a customer service job the clue is in the description.

The shop is very spacious, with the layout well design after the renovation. The items that the offer in the shop is very extensive. You can buy good quality items at a reasonable price when they are at bargain sales.

I was never a fan of Wickes until recently mainly because it was always easy to get materials but I do now use them a lot. Mainly for large materials like plasterboards and basic sanitary ware. Good prices and always in stock.

A click and collect order. A cheap external door which seems of good quality ( time will tell) competitively priced. Very good customer service and polite staff.

Naughty naughty. Bought some treated wood on click and collect. Gave me two pieces that were badly split, out of 4. Asked to replace them. Just because I didn't pick them out myself doesn't mean I don't mind being given bad quality stuff. Shame on you wicks.

Staff couldn't be bothered to ring or find somebody to find what I asked the assistant for they said no we don't sell it so I went to B&Q son bought my pea shingle there then looked online and Wickes do sour pea shingle so 1 out of 10 for Wickes customer services very bad

Ordered some timber for a diy job in my garden. The delivery was expected yesterday, but now they says me it's planned' for tomorrow. Unfortunately I took one day off from office to do the job today!!!!. No text message, no email, no apologies whatssoever. I'll spend more.money elsewhere next time, rather than deal with this people again.

Tried to use our gift card in the Brighton store. They said they couldn't process them at the moment as they weren't scanning properly. I asked if they could find out how much was on the card and honour it anyways, seeing as the gift card was bought in good faith that it would be honoured. They told me it was a nation wide issue. It was a rather young acting-manager and he refused to phone anyone higher up the chain of command. We left disgruntled, then when we got home phoned customer services, who said they hadn't heard anything about the problem and could indeed let the store know how much was on the card and it was up to the store's discretion to honour it. I had to phone back the store and tell him how to do his job, then wait for him to phone and check with higher management after all. We then had to go all the way back to the store, where the man/boy manager had been told to honour the gift card. Wasted time and journey for us! Not impressed by the unhelpfulness. Hubby had taken the day off work to do the job but it took half the day to just buy the tools we needed using a pre-paid card that we trusted would be honoured. Could have been dealt with so much better and faster if the manager had tried to be more helpful and think outside the box a little.

Although all timber is stored in store unlike other Wickes I've been to, the staff here are very ignorant and unfriendly. Would only go back here if I was absolutely desperately needing something.

Care!! They overcharge, esp 'sale' items. Tried buying 'sale' paint from their sale section, they attempted to overcharge as it didn't have the right sale ticket on it. Despite being disabled, was forced to go back to swap for an identical tin which had the'right' sticker on. Cashier and Manager customer service is non existent at this store (manager may not even exist, or just hides behind a telephone). So take great care that they are not overcharging you too.

APPALLING service - I ordered click and collect, Wickes took the money, website crashed on confirmtion page. They admit they took my money and didn't provide the products but refuse to refund. Customer services line just fobs you off, the facebook page asks for DM then ignores it. Lost £70. NEVER AGAIN

Compared to other DIY stores, Wickes I think is the better priced one and better with deals. I would say look out for the "buy 3 for £xx" deals as they are pretty good value for money. I got that for my sand and cement and plaster bags. I like the new refurb of it which was completely recently and it's laid out a lot more nicer. The staff are friendly and helped me load my car - just ask. I have it 3 only because of delivery problems. Delivery is offered free on the website if you spend over £75, but when I wanted delivery I was charged £30 . It wasn't clear to the staff or to me why this was the case and in the end it was assumed that £75 had to be spent on that one particular product, not £75+ on a bulk order . If that is the case, I think that's not fair. My items were around £130 and paying £30 on top was painful. They took off £10 for me so that was nice, but still not good practice to have the '£75+ order = free delivery' on the website, but not followed through in store OR online . There was no clarification at all and it's something Wickes should sort out ASAP.
