Always a pleasure going to the Brighton Wahaca! My partner and I went for our first dinner out in a long time, the staff were more than accommodating and so friendly!
Food was fab as always! The manager seating us was so kind as I asked if there were any heaters available, there’s weren’t for a little bit so he sat us and then as soon as there was a heater available he came and changed us. We also got some Churros on the house which was such a lovely gesture!
I also would like to thank our waitress Astrid and the manager who’s name I didn’t catch seating customers!

Service and layout was excellent with really friendly staff.
The food was sublime and the waitress taking her time to explain the menu was really appreciated as it was my first time there.
Will certainly be returning!

Service was great and food was passable. Their tortilla chips are disappointing, and the guacamole was awful. Not sure how to botch avocado dip, but we ordered 2 lots and it was bitter and inedible, so avoid this - especially considering the price. Everything else was fine.

The sharing platters as re incredible and such a great way to taste a variety of dishes and flavours. Always fresh tasting, healthy and delicious. Filling without any guilt....making more room for cocktails!
On my last visit however the churros were quite overdone and with barely any sugar, which was disappointing.

Great when in the restaurant. The tacos were not as good when as a takeaway (usually amazing when ordered fresh) Still worth ordering for the nibbles and quesadilla.

This place never fails to impress. Whenever we go , the service is great, friendly & prompt. The food is second to none & the wine well lets not go there. We try to go for late lunch there every 2 weeks or so. The staff always seem to remember us

Second time I've been in two days! SUCH good food, amazing taste combinations and all well-priced, too. The wait staff are really attentive and friendly too, even on a Saturday night. I went back tonight by myself because I just wanted more! Will 100% be back.

I have not been able to stop singing this restaurants praises. I have not enjoyed a meal out during this pandemic until I came here. The staff were exceptional and helpful. Both me and my partner have allergies that they took very seriously. The food was more than we’d hoped for; delicious and arrived very quickly. I cannot wait to return as this is literally my new favourite place. I wish I had taken the name of the young woman who served us, been a long time since we received 5 star customer service despite covid rules. Just an utterly pleasant experience!

Lovely waiters/waitresses. The food was incredible and such a lovely atmosphere. The guac was amazing and the crispy cauliflower bites were mind-blowing. I would definitely recommend this place!

Very nice place! Been there today and surprised by efficient use of menu, electronic bill and even possibility to pay online! Staff was quite friendly and explained how things work, asked about allergies&previous experience. Really good and filling food with good variety. Nicely served as well. Good and sturdy glasses and fairly light food plates and baskets were nice change from regular stuff you see in most restaurants. Will be happy to come back again.

It's been ages since I was last here, but every friend who's come to Brighton to visit me has been taken here. I loved the ribeye tacos, but the new steak and cheese tacos are extremely tasty. We eat a lot of Mexican food at home anyway, but coming here is always a very nice treat, and the staff are always great.

Yes the food is amazing, and great value for 2 people when getting one of the classics as well, but what is mostly great about that is the staff. They must treat them well and respect them, because they were smiley, friendly, give advice and do make you feel welcome when it is your birthday (offered churros for curtesy!). Not many places in central Brighton I can say that, but this is by far one of the best. 5 stars for the staff, only because there’s no way of adding a 6th.

I hate leaving bad reviews on restaurants, usually I would just leave and not return in future.
The service started off well with our shared nachos coming out at a good rate, as well as the tasty cocktails. However, my main came out and we had to wait sit and wait an additional 20 minutes for my partners main to come out. When it came out, the dish itself was red hot but the food was a little over room temperature which would suggest that they had it microwaved. When the bill arrived, our server had the cheek of having the 10% service charge included in the bill and no offer to rectify the poor service provided.
I think we have food poisoning. Since coming home, my girlfriend has been sick a few times. I am appalled that we were offered reheated food after a blunder in the kitchen by forgetting to bring it out. I will not be returning any time soon.

We were short on time as we had to get to the Dome for a concert and asked if we could be served quickly. They said we could and recommended the tapas. Neither of us had our glasses either so couldn't read the menu! So we asked Selene, our waitress to recommend dishes. We went with her suggestions and not only did they arrive really quickly, but they were all really tasty too. We really enjoyed our meal. Very helpful, great service and we got to the Dome in plenty of time for Gary Numan.

Just jum ???? definitely try these Mexican Tacos and a mezcal. The seeet potatoe from the oven is a must try. Also they serve gluten-free and vegan ???? the manager will come get your order :)

Wahaca is incredible, it's like tapas but with beautiful and unusual Mexican food, great tasting combinations that I've never heard of.
Food comes out as and when it's ready rather than all at once, and there are nice beers, cocktails, and generally a nice vibe!

Good quality Mexican street food. Service was very prompt and polite. The sharing platters are a generous two people portion. Whilst sat near the kitchen area I noticed a low frequency vibration sound (a bit like the reverb you get if a microphone gets too close to a speaker) I asked the waiter but feel it may have been the sound of some cooking equipment. If I visit again I will choose a seat away from the kitchen.

Actually upped the rating on review. Really enjoyable evening here. The only thing would be the wait. (It was a Saturday and we hadn't booked, but a 20 min wait turned into 50 mins, our fault for not booking, but I'd have preferred to be told it was an hour. We'd have grabbed a drink and waited). Food, spot on. Service was great. I'd not hesitate to go back.
