I have only just joined this practice but my good lady has used them for years. Im first experience was when I went online to register it said to download the form but I couldn't find them and I like to think I'm a bit of a geek, so in the end I gave up and rang them and was told that bit was being updated so I would have to go down to get the forms, this was a bit of hassle as I was trying to avoid going out. I duly went down the next day and got my forms, which I tied in with my dog walk and the lady on reception has to be the nicest person so friendly and warm. She gave me the forms and explained what I had to bring with them really clearly. The forms were nice and straightforward which was a nice change from most forms you get. When I returned the forms I again combined a dog walk at the same time, it was a different lady this time but again was super nice and she took my forms and ID, it was lease than a minute and she had scan the IDs and returned them to me. A massive bonus as my boy was super impatient. My good lady who has been with them for years said that they are always super nice and very friendly. I would recommend this place as I feel super confident that if I needed them I could count on them.

Trying to get an appointment here is near on impossible! Your on hold for hours in the morning...never have I seen a GP surgery ran like this before, Then trying to make me feel bad for using an emergency appointment! I was told to go up to the walking centre instead! In a pandemic! Dr Rana is the best doctor I have seen which is why I haven't moved else where done so much for me over the past couple of years!

I am just writing in support of Alpine House Surgery and all the staff there. I have been registered there for a number of years and have found the practise to be efficient and helpful for my requirements. I recently had my Covid-19 vaccination there and from the initial telephone call to the day itself I cannot fault any aspect of their organisation or delivery. This was done in a professional, polite and efficient manner. Well done to all who continue to work hard for us at this difficult time.

I have been at this practise for less that a year. I feel their duty of care is disgraceful. I phone for an emergency appointment today for my 1 year old son that’s had a cough for 3 weeks now and had corona tests done and it’s negative it’s got to the point he can’t get any sleep from it and I was told to ring back at 8 tomorrow. I understand everyone is understaffed and overworked but not everyone can ring dead on time when they have a poorly child that isn’t sleeping ! The last time you fobbed me off for weeks it turned out I had a bad kidney infection. I think it’s about time CQC looked at your 2.5 review.

It's hard to get an appointment here but when you do get one the ladies at the desk and a lady called Joanne have been very helpful. I'm in a lot of pain and very tired and broke down over the phone. Joanne was great help and tried her hardest. Would like to say a big thank you as it looks like I may get a good night sleep now

I’m new to the area and recently registered with the surgery. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. The doctor I spoke with was also very helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend this practice.

Most of the reception, nursing staff and doctors are friendly and helpful, but there are is a definite lack of funding which the surgery can't control and causes appointment problems etc. In the last few decades the population in the local area has increased dramatically, and a larger surgery is definitely needed long-term as it serves a population in excess of 12,000. In the 32 years I have been with Alpine I have never had a problem. Unfortunately recently it took over a month for my life insurance medical report to be signed off.

I couldn't get an appointment, I tried on 3 occasions and each time was given an excuse why I couldn't be seen. Having long term health problems it is vital for me to have medical care when I need it. As a result I was forced to go without my prescription which caused horrendous withdrawal symptoms..

It's rediculous that you have to ring first thing in morning to make an appointment. I'm at work at that time, and don't have the time to stop working, to be waiting on hold for half an hour to probably be told there's nothing available. The Appointment system is a joke.

Don't offer better appointments for people who work. Should keep a few slots back a day as I have to give notice at work can't just turn up to a walk in clinic 8.30 to 10.30 I need to pre book a time because of work.

Saw our little boy several times over the last few days, all the doctors we saw were friendly and helpful, as were the reception staff, very good experience, especially when you see how busy they are

I have found the reception team to be more than accommodating compared with my previous surgery. The care offered to my children has been very thorough & no sense of feeling rushed in the appointments. The new sit & wait emergency clinic is not without its problems, particularly if you are working as not sure on the wait time. Also if small children are waiting it can be quite fraught. But overall no system is perfect & times are tough. I think the surgery is covering a large population also.

Absolutely terrible service. You can never get through and then it cuts you off to start again. I rang bang on 8 and somehow 13th in queue. After cut off I'm 22nd WTF. Ridiculous service.

Can not express how brilliant this GP practise is even with the never ending expansion of mountsorrel and surrounding villages that this practise has to cope with. I've been with this practise for 21 years and still to this day I can always get an appointment with my GP on the day when needed. The on-line booking system is great and with that you get appointment the next day and onwards for 3 weeks . I had my very first experience of the new walk in system that is being used now and didn't have to wait long at all to see a Dr . Staff are very friendly and always willing to help .

I was here due to health problems. I kept going to see a Dr Ellison who has not got a clue and doesn't take his job seriously. I personally think he's given up. He could not work out why my hand foot was numb. I just registered at the linkfield surgery. And new after 3 visits. Why it's was like that. I feel sorry for the other people who go there r u getting the right treatment and care. If not complain. But u still won't get anywhere.

The surgery had an extension a few years ago to add capacity, but this has in my opinion failed miserably. Mountsorrel has seen an unprecedented number of new houses and this has placed huge demands on the surgery, which it simply cannot cope with. This has had a massively detrimental effect on the service it provides. Recently I have had to wait 1 month for an appointment to see a doctor, which I find totally unacceptable. This was after spending 20mins on the phone just to talk to bookit !!! The walk-in service in the morning is no use what so ever if you are working as there is no guarantee you will see a doctor. Trying to make an appointment when you work is ridiculously stressful and near impossible. I think that the management need to a good had look at the way Alpine House is going, as the service is abysmal. I my opinion Alpine House is failing the community. Grossly disappointing...!!!!!

Absolutely ridiculous surgery had my daughter registered 6 weeks and she has still not been seen sat and waited 15 mins was position 22 in the que to be told there's no appoinment baring in mind ive tried everyday this week. After a ten minute debate on the phone about how could it be possible yo get an appointment when I'm doing all they ask they hung up the phone. I wanted her seen asap but all the appointments seem to disappear between 8am and 8.01am Its dirty always smells and the receptionists are lazy and unorganized

This practice used to be a wonderful local surgery. It has now been extended and has lost the staff with compassion. It is impossible to phone up on the day and get an appointment. When you do eventually get an appointment the reception staff are lazy, and would rather chat about how terrible the patients are, than to actually help any patients. Most of the GPs are rude, impatient, don't listen properly and run the risk of misdiagnosis. My 7yo daughter left the surgery in tears as the GP has been so blunt and harsh with her that she was terrified. His bedside manner was disgraceful.

Do not phone to make an appointment unless you have an hour to spare as you can never get through. I have tried!
