I recently had my car detailed at Refined Detail and couldn’t be happier. The tired paint was polished to perfection and then protected with ceramic coating. The wheels and glass were also polished and coated.
The transformation is absolutely amazing and now incredibly easy to clean myself, it looks just as incredible as the day I collected it after each time I clean it.
I will be taking my other car to Refined Detail to get the same treatment as soon as I can.

I was recommended to Rich by a local firm that had recently refurbished my wheels. Rich was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He is a absolute gent and professional and carried out a full paint correction and ceramic coat on my 2019 Golf R 9 months ago. I couldnt have been more satisfied with the result and the hard work and attention to detail he put in - my car still looks stunning today! Richard has been looking after our cars for 5 years, from full detailing and even semi-restoration work, through to regular maintenance. My husband is fastidious and Richards work always surpasses his high expectations. Rich is the rudest and most arrogant person I’ve ever met in the trade. He seems to think he is above everyone else and loves himself a little bit too much.
He is very quick to shift the blame onto someone else and disregard any responsibility of his own.

We had only had our car an hour before handing it over to Refined Detail for a week for full New Car Protection inside and out including Dual Layer Ceramic Coating + Glass + Wheels off package.
Considering the portfolio of high-end supercars that Refined Detail are responsible for, Richard still made us feel like our Kia Sportage GTS was given his full care & attention and the results certainly show this.
Richard’s depth of knowledge, attention to detail and skill are both extensive and reassuring.
The results are outstanding and the depth of gloss Richard has managed to get from the Fusion White paintwork is incredible, well worth the wait.
Despite delivery from the manufacturer being delayed several times, Richard still managed to accommodate us, which we greatly appreciated considering how busy he is.
Communication throughout was fantastic including regular photo updates, adding to the excitement before collecting the car again this weekend.
We will definitely be recommending Refined Detail and in fact have already booked our second car in for the same treatment in a few weeks time.

Richard has done excellent work on my classic1970 eType S2 FHC after it had been completely mechanically rebuilt with back to bare metal OEM re-paint. Unfortunately the body shop involved went out of business after the full car respray without the final paint preparation being completed to the paintwork showroom finish.
Richard de-nibbed, wet sanded and then detailed the paint to it's full final wax finish and the car also received a full engine bay detailing as well.
The job he did was fantastic, highly detailed and I am very pleased with how well the final paintwork finish looks especially under showroom conditions.
The car is now ready for sale - Thank you Richard

A week after I picked up a GT4 from Porsche I spoke to a few PPF installers and instantly loved what I saw at Refined Detail. Richard is super meticulous in his explanations, which are all as transparent as the PPF him and his team installs.
I've had PPF on another car and the difference in quality and craftsmanship is night and day. Up front I made it very clear I didn't want to see any edges. Richard took the time to explain some are inevitable and that he would do his utmost best to reduce the amount of edging. When I picked up the car the results were amazing! I was truly blown away. The approach and attention to detail was second-to-none. You know sometimes when you spend a lot of money and you think "That was money well spent". This was one of those moments.
I was also very impressed with Richard's updates. Despite having a full workshop everyday he still the found time to keep me posted. Richard also went above and beyond to rescue me the evening I picked up the car (long story).
A true gent, genuine petrol head and highly professional. I can't recommend Refined Detail enough, and I'll definitely be back with other motors.

I visited Rich after using another local detailer whom I hadn’t had the best service. From the first pre arranged meeting and throughout Rich has been polite, informative and helpful. Once the car was booked in regularly updates were made so I could see the progress. The end result of the new car detailed with 2 stage ceramic coating were nothing short of perfection. Rich delivered on everything he said he would with a professional and personal approach. I have subsequently recommended rich to friends and would not hesitate doing so again. Overall it was refreshing to use someone so invested in what they do, with the product and outcome to match.

Fantastic service from Refined Detail.
Instead of our new car being a build to order we found one in stock that matched our spec in the UK already - so unexpectedly we had a much earlier need for it to have a Protection Detail.
Richard fitted it in amongst his existing work despite being fully booked which I was hugely grateful for, especially given the time of the year wanting to get the paint and interior protected.
We opted for the full new car protection detail, inside and wheels off with 2 layers of ceramic coating. With only 300miles on the clock having come fresh from the dealer there was a huge difference to the paint after Richard had worked his magic. Very pleased with the results and the car is nicely protected.
Great communication through the process with Richard sending images and updates on progress which was great to see. Before and After shots showing the real impact of his work.
Have been a long time follower of his Instagram feed (mostly to enjoy looking at all of the great cars he works on) so was great to meet him. And couldn't be more pleased with the work.
Would definitely recommend!

Rich has done a couple of cars for me, an E46 M3 and a slate grey 996. Both absolutely sensational jobs. The difference was literally night and day.
The 996 is low mileage. Rich still took over 100 paint depth measurements and knew exactly the level of correction for each panel. The end result was stunning. I was genuinely delighted!
Over the moon on all work done. Worth every penny.

Long time follower of Richard’s work but first time customer. He fitted me in with short notice as I had previously had to cancel my booking. Richard also accepted additional work I asked him to do without any hesitation. He is extremely knowledgable about detailing and friendly with it! Richard completed a new car detail for me which also included the aforementioned additional work of debadging, fitting a boot protector and a last minute request to install PPF in certain areas of the car. The fact that he was able to get his trusted PPF installer to fit in this additional work at the 11th hour speaks volumes. The new car detail completed by Richard was fantastic and the quality of his workmanship is apparent throughout. I have been using Refined Detail since 2011 for all my detailing needs be that maintenance on a monthly basis, protecting new cars with correction/PPF and ceramic coatings through to cosmetic renovations on some older cars such as wheel refurbishment, paint less dent removal, leather repairs, new pieces of OEM trim and finally paintwork spraying and correction. the results have always been outstanding as well as nothing ever being too much trouble for them to organise. I am a busy person and to have someone like Richard whom i have total trust in is worth a fortune, i just hope he can keep it going until he retires!!!

Really disappointed, i took my brand new audi s3 for a machine polish as the dealer had left swirls from the service washes. i would have thought with the length of time he had the car and the price he charged that i would be stunned, instead i was met with excuses as to why some swirls could not come out but still demanded full price COWBOY DETAILER SAVE YOUR MONEY GO ELSEWHERE

Rich does a simply amazing job looking after my cars ensuring they remain in showroom condition. From the ppf work on my new M4 to the more esoteric tasks on 10 yr old M3 through to the regular maintenance on our dailys, the work is meticulous and the results always stunning. Owner is stuck up, i attempted to contact regarding my 2009 Fiesta ST regarding some detailing work and he scoffed and asked me if i was sure as the detail probably cost more than the car its self - terribly rude individual, really do not recommend!!

I don't own a 'supercar' just a car that I want to keep looking good externally just as well as I maintain it mechanically. Richard at Refined Detail gave me great advice initially on what could be achieved on my nearly 3 year old car, and also what needed to be done first (some scratches needed respraying before Detailing). After the 'Major' enhancement detail, Paintless Dent Removal, Allow Wheel full Refurb, and finally dual layer SiRamik APT paint protection the car looks fantastic, I'm sure this is BETTER than Showroom condition! I'm delighted and feel my investment in the aesthetics, while being pleasurable for me, will enhance the value of the car too. Richard is not just an expert with whom I am comfortable taking advice from, he is totally trustworthy and a skilled technician. I have no hesitation in recommending him. If you want the best, only Refine Detail will do.

I first used the services of refined detail in 2011 on my then recent purchase of a Subaru Impreza wrx ppp. The finish was excellent and the comments I received once Richard had worked his magic were positive, I was even asked if it was new. The car was 8 years old at that point. I have recently used Richards services again on my 2015 Focus ST. Well what can I say, the car is exceptional and I'm very pleased with the finish, it looks even better than my Subaru did. My partners Audi TT is going to Richard very soon once it's been serviced and I have also just bought a 4 series BMW which I hope also to get into Richard within the next couple of months.
