Had a brilliant experience here today with the bike team. They gave me honest, impartial advice on a bike I had bought secondhand as a replacement for my daughter’s stolen one. Even though they were short staffed, under pressure and seemingly a bit unappreciated by senior management, I was really touched by their kindness and compassion. Thank you bike team at Halfords new Malden, this 5 stars is for you!

The bike team here are nothing short of amazing ! Not only do they have a swift and precise service but they will not try and sell you something you don’t need. I bought my bike here 7 years ago with a few minor upgrades it’s running better than ever !
Word to the wise “ if you buy a new bike TAKE the 3 year care plan” £80-£120 depending on the bike only pay for the parts when needed all labour included. To put it in perspective I paid £220 for a fix with labour at my local bike store when my plan ran out ! Thanks to Dave, Bobby and I think Sam who have really gone above and beyond. Keep up the food work ????????

Went to Halfords with my mate this evening to pick up a radio for my 06 Ford Fiesta, having made an appointment for it yesterday. Arrived early just to be on the safe side and we were served almost immediately. One of the guys working there helped us out so much and talked through everything about setting up the radio. He estimated that the setup would take about 30 minutes, but he managed to get it done in under that time. True professional. We also had questions about the radio and he was more than happy to talk to us. Very friendly and helpful. Will visit again. Great customer service.

This is my go to Halfords of the ones local to me, easy parking and generally has a good level of stock, 99% of the time has what I’m looking for, web sight is easy to use and click and collect makes sure out of stock items are ready fairly quickly, staff are pleasant and friendly and generally knowledgable.

Very disappointed over the years alot of money has been spent in this store. I also purchased 2 x bycycle for both my children in the last month. A few days ago I took back a childs helmet which was purchased a good few months ago. The back of the helmet tightner broke of so I took it back to my local halfords. I spoke to a woman named Jess who was very unhelpful, from a safety point of view Halfords refused to do anything to help resolve my issue. If I wanted a sub standard service I would of invested my money elsewhere. As a gesture they didn't even offer me any of their reduced helmets which they are trying to get rid off to settle my complaint. No customer service. Better of going online to Amazon.

Lovely staff who strive to keep the customer happy. A big thank you to everyone involved in the process of my car stereo as I became a bit of a challenging customer when opting for something different at a late stage. Their willingness to accommodate was very much appreciated. Special thanks to Mike the manager and Richard the fitter for all your help. Very happy with the end result! As I sat in the waiting area, I appreciated how often staff get interrupted by customers in the middle of transactions and was impressed by their patience and professionalism.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with the Bike Team. The person who attended me was unhelpful and came across rude.
I also bought an online item to be delivered to this store within an hour as advertised on the website to find our an hour later that there was not stock so I had to wait.
Lastly, their telephone response time is shocking, having had to call over 5 times during midday before getting a response.
I will be thinking twice before I buy from Halfords as opposed to other retailers who treat their customers with more care.
