The Car Wash Company Tunbridge

I have never had such appalling customer service in my whole life. We arrived back to collect our car and it was still muddy and not cleaned properly. When I explained this to the staff they were so rude and told us not to come back. The man hissed at me which was incredibly intimidating. They have prime positioning for car cleaning and do not deserve this position. I urge you to please spend your money to a company more deserving.

Very poor all round. I have emailed the company directly - I have still heard nothing 4 days later (they say they will get back within 72 hrs). Feel as though others ought to know about this place, and please avoid!! Much better and cheaper options elsewhere in TW. I booked a £60 Diamond car wash. On returning to my car, the car was streaky in places especially on the inside which looked as though a dirty cloth had been used across the dashboard and trim. The boot had been fairly muddy and there was/is still evidence of this. Also I received a car parking ticket, so a fine of £25! Its the first time I have used the service, and I had assumed that if I am paying £60 for a car wash, then the £2 (ish) car parking charge would be included in the price... obviously not. The staff did not communicate this at all to us. I suggested to them that when they talk to customers at the booking stage, they should advise customers to book a parking session. They looked at me blankly. It's evident that The Car Wash Co leases out a number of spaces in Victoria Place Car Park, hence the public cannot park there unless they book a car wash (we've tried to in the past when the car park was full) This means that the car parking session has in effect already been paid for! All in all, a very unsatisfactory experience... mediocre service and appalling communication.

Very disappointing experience at the Tunbridge Wells (Royal Victoria Place) site. I looked on the website and decided I wanted the Platinum service for £27.95, I have a regular car, so this should not have affected the price. On arrival at the site, I was quoted £50 which included a special wax (which I didn’t need or want). The guy was quite persistent about up-selling the special wax. I pointed out a much cheaper price scheme to the guy and said I didn’t want that kind of wax. He then lowered the quote to £37. I showed him the price points on their website and his response was "we don't do that". So I got back in my car to leave when he again lowered the quote to £30. At this point I wanted nothing to do with the company as it felt like they were trying to make some quick money. A very disappointing and extremely frustrating experience. A shame I have to even give it 1 star.

Very poor quality of cleaning, looked ok in the car park, but when you get outside you see how much dirt is still on your car. Don't think they even bothered with the front of the car, leaves, cobwebs and dead flies were still on there. Think they might have just opened the door to look inside and then shut the door again because nothing looked clean inside. Still had mud marks, lots of dust and bits of dirt laying around. Definitely not worth the price. The one at the garden centre is much better and not too far away. Update.... 19.09.2020 I have been waiting 4 weeks for a refund as promised by Bill.. The car wash company are not replying to any of my emails. I don't know how this company is even running terrible car washes and even crapper customer service. Absolute joke.

I thought the car wash was ok until i parked at home in the sunshine to find it was still filthy on the wheels and in a few crevices. The waxing job was done terribly, could have been done better by a child. £20 for it to look pretty awful if i'm honest. At least before it was dirty all over and not half clean. I contacted support but I'm guessing i wont get my money back.

Absolutely Unbelievable. I came back with a free gold wash card that said "we'll do better next time" on the front after having a bad experience last time and they still don't clean it properly? Dirty exterior, interior covered in greasy product that makes the wheel hard to hold, and the glass, which by the gold wash description is meant to be polished and which I had specifically asked to be cleaned has been left completely untouched. There was also another very unhappy gentlemen taking pictures of his car next to me that was also clearly not content with the service. I wouldn't have paid £10 for what I got. Let alone £25??? Absolute rip-off.

Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the quality of the gold cleaning service. From the outside and in the dim light conditions of the car park it looked great. But as soon as I got in and drove away (rather hurriedly due to having an over tired and hungry toddler in the back seat!) I noticed all the chrome work inside was smeary, the windows were smeary, there was cleaning product residue over most of the interior. I also noticed a wet looking patch on the back seat. I emailed the company and was replied to within 48 hours. When I replied again saying that the wet patch on the leather hadn't dried and I was concerned it was an stain on my otherwise unmarked brand new car, I didn't hear back with any assurance that it wouldn't happen again should I wish to return for any further cleaning. I think that level of customer service is inadequate. And having paid over £20 for that level of service has left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I’ve just got home to realise that my car looks no cleaner than when I started. I’ve also got 2 new scuffs on the boot which I had never noticed before. Quite annoyed I spent £20 on something where I could have done a far better job. *EDIT* a day later, I decided that I needed to clean my car myself to discuss 2 scuff marks on my boot, a patch on my roof where paintwork has been removed and a bottle of car shampoo has been stolen that was in my boot. I cannot express how angry I am. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

This is a hand wash car wash place within the car park. They've cleaned my car ok, but not to my standards and it's not cheap, so I am not going to use their services anymore. It's a shame as it would've been convenient to get the car cleaned whilst shopping in the shopping centre!

It's OK but getting to expensive

After 2.5 h waiting I pick up my car. And special key for alloys is missing and car brand flashlight what I check after I back home. Menager on site said that if I dont have photo of that before I left my car I cant prove them anything. Plus car still is not clean like shoud be! Police is on investigation with that. And look how dirty staff they are using to clean car. Disgusting!

Avoid at all costs. Absolutely ripped me off. Came back to the car after they said they needed 2vhours to clean it & it looked slightly less dirty than before. Just wanted their money!

was really disappointed with the quality of this cleaning service I paid £20 for an inside and out and it was done to such a low standard I had to get the hoover out and do it myself all the obvious places they forgot and muddy marks everywhere all over the side of the car still will not use this company again
