Today after work I was trying to buy beer. I been ask to show my ID and I was so surprised as my look doesn’t even look close to 25 but when I show my driving licence on my phone they told me that still I have to present them document as original. Store Manager/Supervisor came to me and was much younger than me and still told me that I can’t buy beer so ridiculous as a father of two kids I can’t buy a beer so funny situation. I hope they will improve this.

Click and collect here is very confusing. Need to scan a QR code to get a link to collect which then allows you to alert staff you have arrived to collect your shopping. However no one without a charged smart phone or internet can do that! As there were no staff present to help I had to wait 10 minutes for someone else to turn up to collect items to ask for my shopping by which point I was about number 4 in the queue so the whole process took over 30 minutes. When the staff did turn up they were very friendly and helpful but it's clear Tesco Click and Collect needs some more thought.

Tesco, just like any other Tesco, great range of food and drink, prices will have gone up by the time you get from one end of the shop to the other.

Please please please STOP panic buying there is no need to do this. If we all shop like we always do there would be plenty of of stuff to buy. We all need to take stock of what we are doing, and think about people that may become ill. And also the elderly and people that may have long term illness.

Do not go for the wine sale, there are no boxes to put bottles in. Come on management, go to Sainsburys to see how a wine sale is done!

Check out person didn't notice two items had been reduced. When pointed out to him told me three times he couldn't do it. Had to ask how to correct it. (customer services) so another queue. No apology.

I was quite disappointed when during my shop last week, I was selected to have my shopping checked at checkout. This in and of itself is not what was disappointing...most disappointing was the young chaps complete disregard for public safety during this trying time who came over, no gloves or mask and proceeded to rummage through my shopping while not adhering to social distancing guidelines. I was in complete shock and left feeling angry, and of course a little bit worried. Please impress upon your staff that social distancing guidelines must be adhered to and in the case of needing to check shopping, to do so with a mask and gloves and to ask the customer to step back to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Having realised at checkout that I had lost my credit card. The staff could not have been more helpful. They checked all my shopping through and kept it at customer services until I got back. Sandra the supervisor and the cashier and lady at customer services - all friendly and helpful. Thanks to you all.

On Friday last I shopped early but was disappointed to discover that one small paid for item had not made it home with me. I returned some hours later and was so very impressed with all the staff members that helped me locate the item that I had foolishly left at till number 12. Not one of them displayed any impatience despite the current crisis. Many thanks.

Used to go regularly but store seems grubby and staff rude - especially managers! Also tesco don't seem to realise that we are all trying to cut down on the amount of plastic we use?? Happy to say there are much better, cleaner and more professional supermarkets near by.

I really love the orange Juice machine! This shop is well stocked. Very friendly staff and always helpful. Not expensive like other supermarkets and you also can collect points on your Tesco card. The quality of food and baby clothes is getting better with the years and I feel confident when buying fruits as they're excellent quality and lower in price. Thanks Tesco.

I only wanted some beans and loo roll! Don't you think you should be putting restrictions on the amounts some of the nutters are buying so normal shopper's have got a chance?

The click & collect service is absolutely rubbish. The soonest slot available was in a week time , but since a lot of the things we need were showing up availability we decided to book it and wait. Arrived today hoping to get our supply and 3/4 of what we ordered is not available!!! Thank you Tesco for keeping us waiting for a whole week for nothing... Tottaly gutted!!! Useless service!!!

Big superstore, stocks a very wide range of product including specialist food. Easy to reach by car with plenty of parking spaces. Also has a coffee shop and toilet facilities. Only downside is that it's far out of town so you need to drive or take the bus to get here.

Just had my car cleaned, not impressed, got home and had to re clean areas of the roof, front grill was dirty and wheels not cleaned on one side. Cost £10, would have got a better job in Ansty at the shell garage car wash for half the price.

Some staff have extremely poor customer service skills and either ignore you or act extremely rude to you. Avoid if possible!

Went in today to look at new S9, wanted some advice. Sadly the 3 staff 2 women and 1 man were to busy talking together. One woman was plaiting the other woman's hair. Completely ignored us, unfortunately I left my camera as wld be good to share their great customer services!

The security guard and manager did not let me go to the store with my son because he was sitting on a small bike. Trolley are bigger than my son's bike. I showed this manager. I told him my son would be screaming if he got off the bike. did not help. We had to leave the shop. I understand that is probably right, but it was a really small bike.My son is four years old, so the bike is really small . I hope it will be treated the same way. I'm not happy with the tesco manager in Burgess Hill

It's a good store - it generally has what we want, apart from Madeira, which I have to buy elsewhere. Occasionally they run out of staples like Weetabix.

Got a lot worse in the last 12 months. Very average supermarket. Staff generally look like they cannot wait till their shift ends, I don't blame them. They ruined the car park redesigining it. Avoid it unless absolutely neccessary.

Big store, loads of produce but I was annoyed one day when I was buying redbull. I was unshaven and my truck was parked down the road and I was refused redbull without I.D. customers near by were laughing. I'm 35 and was unshaven in work uniform aswell. Normally I'd be flattered but I was busy that day and was made to leave it and get ID which was in truck down the road and didn't have time. So I grabbed another pack of redbull and went to self service checkout but before paying I said to staff. Do I look old enough to buy this and the staff laughed and I explained why I asked and that I've just grabbed another to pay elsewhere because it was just silly. Too much hassle for redbull.

Visited this store for the first time this evening and won’t be going back. Half the shelves were empty. And the rest looked like they’d been ransacked. There were various items randomly placed, a cheesecake in the fruit isle for example. The store is poorly lit both inside and out. We wanted ice cream but unfortunately the Ben and Jerrrys on the end of the isle were not frozen at all. Some other ice cream tubs were so frosted over you couldn’t make out what they were! The store was in an appalling state and we couldnt wait to leave. An extremely poor example for Tesco. A superstore this certainly is not!!

Food is so much fresher than waitrose , i know somebody that worked there and the fish was left outside the frezzer for hours before being served on the counter Also free to park with out the risk of a ticketing agency giving you a 80 ticket for using there store like waitrose

The team members here are lovely, but I cannot say the same for the management who have delivered poor service to myself and my partner on more than one occasion. Over the past six months we have had to bin vegetables which we have purchased, that have been rotten inside (although still well within their use by or best before dates.) The clothing section is consistently decreasing in size, which is a real shame as the Shoreham and Horley branches both have a superior range.

Tesco Hassocks is a bit of a mess at the moment. I'm sure the analytics will be correct but the signage is poor. Other than slow customers on a day out, seemingly, it's ok.

Busy. Not enough tills open EVER. Prices keep creeping up and branded goods getting smaller but prices dont. Supermarkets dont really, in my opinion offer value for money anymore. You just turn up, take what you want off the shelf and pay the price that it states. NO CUSTOMER CARE at all and the profits keep rolling in.

Don't bother calling the store number. It takes you through to an office mid country somewhere and they have no idea what's going on in the store itself.

Really poor customer service. I buy their unsliced loaves of bread and I asked a member of the bakery team for one of the plastic wrappers that they use to put the sliced bread in. He refused to let me have one. I told him that bread does not keep for as long in the new paper wrappers and he said he had been told not to give customers the old sliced wrappers. He held one of the new paper wrappers open for me to put the loaf in, which tore down the seam between the bag and its plastic window as we tried to put the bread in it. I left the bread. It seems a shame that customers appear so low down their list of priorities.
