Excellent service, they explained what they were doing and why. While you wait aircon check and recharge, got there with no aircon and drove away chilled. Can highly recommended.

Contacted them for a price via email (no answer on phone) on a to refurb my alternator. I gave them the numbers off the alternator and they advised it wasn't a number they recognised. I then sent a photo of the Bosch sticker and they have not bothered to get back to me.

Hottest day of the year and my aircon breaks down. Dropped in on the off-chance. The guys checked and confirmed leak but asked for no payment as car still under warranty. Helpful and honest. What more could you ask for?

Simon at SAC was really helpful. He sourced a replacement for an old and unsual compact tractor alternator which had to fit in a very small space, he got it spot on and did it quickly. He was then very helpful over the phone when i found the wiring was slighly different and needed help with it. All now working and the price was fair. Helpful and friendly to deal with, I will use SAC again and recommend them . Many thanks Simon

The guys here know there stuff, went to a place to have air con filled guy told me air con compressor needed replacing. I was looking at a bill for about a grand. Then I remembered these guys, they did my altenator on my Range Rover sport a few years back. Straight away they did some tests, no issues. Air con as good as new. Top lads

Do not use this company got air con filled for £58 and only lasted one day so I returned to sac air con specialists to be told well at least you know now the car has a leak unbelievable service after they supposedly checked it for leaks before they filled the car I also returned on the same day as a lot of liquid was coming from under the car the main guy informed us this is correct and not to worry can’t believe they call themselves specialists and now have been told I won’t get much change from£300 to fix the problem that they should of picked up in the first place was not offered a refund so wasted £58 for 1 day of air con !!!

They tried to cheat my friend. When we went to refill the gas, they told that AC pipes were damaged. Repair work could cost £300 approximately. Been to a different place , they said pipes are perfectly fine , and refilled the gas for £55. Not at all recommended

My Golf died a slow death with the starter motor finally giving out. Booked it in with SAC who quoted a price instantly, for supply and fitting, which was very reasonable. Got given a push to get me down there and was served quickly and politely. Phone call saying it was done and picked up, again very friendly pickup. The car has started better than any time since I've had it. It actually makes me wonder if it had been changed by the dealership when I had it seen to before - that's another story.
Strongly recommend them to anybody with starter motor trouble.

Decent for refurb alternators. Avoid at all cost for ac refills...i have personally had the ac refilled 3 times within 1 month... Owners and workers all have something different to say each time.... Rather use a different company and save myself from these cowboys....

These guys destroyed the alternator of a rare chevy by trying to modify it to get it working and broke the primary brush holder. Regret taking it to these guys. 2 weeks they had it, kept saying they've ordered parts, but returned it back to me saying it's not fixable by them. They had received the alternator in working condition just that the dashboard light wouldn't come on when you put ignition. I took it apart after I got it back from them and found screws missing, and most of all, broken brush holder, The brushes were missing, so even I can't fix it.

After Amazon let us down on delivering a new alternator for our 1969 Renault Estafette, I whipped off our original alternator and took it to SAC with our tale of woe, and requiring a working vehicle by the next day. By luck, Simon was on the front desk and simply couldn’t have been more helpful during our predicament. Whilst also managing my expectations, I walked out confident that if it could be rectified, it would be and that’s all I could ask. True to his word, Simon rang me within an hour and explained the fault he’d discovered and would attempt to fix. Again, Simon rang within the time he said he would and informed me the alternator was ready for collection and the price was extremely reasonable!
It was brilliant to be able to walk into somewhere who took ownership of an issue and exuded confidence in their ability, even on a 50 year old vehicle! I was contacted when I was told I would be contacted, and treated brilliantly in every aspect.
SAC should be rightly proud of the service they gave me.
