A total rip off. Saying £9 all day parking but it is actually £31. In the centre of London I paid £30 for full day. This was Brighton!! Seriously with all spaces allocated to cyclist and pedestrian by the beach, I am not surprised with this sort of opportunistic businesses to pick pocket people in day light. With this expensive charge they could at least wash the staircase which was disgustingly smelly!! Never use this car park again.

Have parked at this RCP car park a few times now and everytime I do it gets better and better.. The views from the 3rd floor are stunning; it's also a very private car park, so secure and safe..it is so quiet compared to other car parks in Brighton.. You could litteraly leave anything on display there and it won't get noticed.. I felt a bit nervous at first about exposing my valuables.. but the quiet, ambient atmosphere soon leaves oneself free of concern and self awareness in the comfort of familier and welcuming surroundings. It can be a bit windy on the 3rd floor though so good to be prepared if you experience any mobility issues.. The car Park staff are vey attentive and they have a very conveniently placed pop corn machine by the pay meter and control room if you get stuck there longer than you may have first expected.. Useful also if you find yourself left with nothing else to do than watching TV or CCTV. Highly recommend this place for thrill seekers and for seeing exhibitions in the local areas. It is also great value for money as well for all day parking if you arrive there between 6am and 9am..Thanks RCP for an unforgettable parking experience. In my book RCP should stand for REAL CLIMAX PARKING.. just brilliant.. Thanks again to all the staff there; a big thumbs Up from me ????

Large banner at the entrance offering parking all day for £9.00 only. Then you come back 4 hours later and they charge you £31.00 !!! When asked, I was told is all in the small print. Seriously??? Absolutely misleading On top of that, the place is in need of urgent renovation and cleaning. Stinks urine everywhere and the toilet is neglected. They felt embarrassed to let me use it and warned me before going. Probably worse parking I have ever been. Deserves zero stars

Had a very bad experience. The payment system got down and had to wait for more than 30mins. Also had to pay £17 for just 2 hours including the time i waited because of the system error.

DO NOT PARK HERE !!!!! Day trip to Brighton on a Saturday. You see these prices in large print as you drive into the garage - £5.50 and then a £9.00 day rate charge. When we returned to the car less than 5 hours later the price was £31.00!!!!!!! It is a dump of a car park. My girlfriend was scared to stand alone anywhere in there as it was badly lit and very seedy. It isn't close to things of interest, or the sea front. What a joke! We feel badly misled by the signs. Had we seen anything that even mentioned that the price would be so ridiculously high the we would have reversed out at speed. Who stops in the entrance of a car park to read the very fine print?? Soured a lovely day out. AVOID!!!!

Hideously expensive like all parking in Brighton, smelly, clearly the money doesn't go on maintenance and cleaning, particularly in the stairwells. Convenient for city centre and hotels though - providing you get there early enough to grab a space, and providing you can open your doors once in one of the very narrow spaces. I would say avoid, but if you need to park in Brighton, it's better than parking on the streets.

Safe place to park your car. Nice staff. A bit pricy, but have some deals depending on the time of the entry and leave of the car park.

RCP's MD, Shapoor Naghshineh, has this to say about their car parks: "It’s ‘going the extra mile’ that helps RCP Parking Ltd ensure that our car parks are the friendliest and the most caring. That's our goal and we genuinely believe it! It’s our RCP people who bring real meaning to the ‘Have a nice day’ philosophy." I'm curious as to what a caring car park would really be like - I suspect Mr Naghshineh may have been having a little joke when he penned this description. It certainly made me chuckle having used the Brighton car park. It's a pretty unappealing place with spaces that are tight even for normal cars, let alone SUVs. There is generally a faint smell of urine lurking about too which always makes me feel slightly ill at ease if I leave my car there. Here is another paragraph from the RCP "About Us" page: "Our well-run car parks across the country offer real value and great service to the many thousands of people who park with us every day, conveniently located in town and city centres." Here are the prices so that the real value is visible (at 7 Jan 2020): Charges: £5.50 Up to 1 Hour £11.50 Up to 2 Hours £16.50 Up to 3 Hours £21.50 Up to 4 Hours £31.00 Up to 24 Hours £9.00 Early Bird (Entry between 06:00 & 09:00, exit before midnight) £6.00 Evening Rate (Between 17:00 and exit before 03:00) The evening rate is handy for the cinema in the North Laine - the only reason to use the car park.

late night parking here is much cheaper (after 6pm) than other car parks and it is perfect for the Laines restaurants and the Dome.

Decent pricing (compared to normal Brighton prices), £9.00 all-day parking but only on 'early-bird' conditions (arriving before 9am)

Booked online and found it pretty easy, not too much of a walk to town but a bit uphill on the way back if you have heavy bags.

Centrally located but the parking spaces are too narrow for larger vehicles. Therefore can be difficult when parking next to one and then getting in and out of the vehicle. Expensive to park too.

Complete rip off! Dirty car park with cramped spaces and extortionate prices. the only redeeming feature is a friendly and very helpful attendant. If you're not stopping too long or its after 6pm have a look for a bay in Spring Gardens, the road to the left of the carpark entrance.

BEWARE !!! On 26th December 2016 I parked my car for a couple of hours which cost £14. I put 2 x £5 notes and 4 x £1 coins in the machine but the machine did not register 1 x £5 BUT KEPT IT!!! and I didn't have another £5!!! Fortunately there was an attendant but he said he checked the system and there was nothing wrong with the machine so an argument ensued. The attendant did let us leave but said he didn't believe that the machine was faulty and he was unable to open the machine anyway and check it.

Old, dark and overpriced. Even if I was homeless and this was the only shelter I could find I would probably take my chances on the streets.

Parked as Premier Inn customer with validated token. Had booked 2 nights stay and expected to pay £20 for 48 hours. In fact due to a car accident left at 7.45pm on the 2nd day but we're charged £24. Why? Too distressed to query at the time but are complaining to Premier Inns.

The machines were out of synch with phone times that auto update to GMT. Therefore what we expected to be £8 all day parking was charged at £28 for less than 60 second outside of the start time. Absolutely would not use this car park again.

It cost us £14 for just under three hours parking at lunchtime. Extortionate, yes - but actually for us Brighton residents it's often cheaper to drive and park than to take the bus. I feel sorry for visitors though.

Stayed at the premier Inn in the town,it was roughly a 5 minute walk away but with heavy bags that was annoying and 2 young kids. As I stayed at the hotel the car park was £10 for 24 hours,I arrived on the Monday at exactly 11.46 am and left Sunday at 11.51am and was charged £15.noone around to query this, website is rubbish every time I've tried uploading it I can't. Will never ever ever use this car park again

Very expensive and lots of odd parking bays. Navigating out by foot is also an unnecessary adventure with the unclear sighs and blocked doors etc
