We reached out to Urbanist having had our initial planning permission rejected by our local council.
Urbanist's customer services was amazing. Ana Popovic was lead on our project, she was always quick to respond, keen to answer all questions and always on top of our planning application, following up with the council and ourselves as required.
Our planning has now been approved and we are incredibly happy with Urbanist's service.

I reached out to the managing director for a proposal for a development I was looking to do. We exchanged several emails and he confirmed interest in bidding. He later followed up with a question and confirmed when I would received the proposal.
I never received anything and followed up to see if there was an issue and again.... heard nothing.
I found this unprofessional and a waste of my time.

I managed to found them through Google and after a quick look on there web page I was sure they will be the right company for the Planning application I needed to do. We wanted an extension. The plans were just drafted, no explanation, the architect was never available and always seemed rushed. Before anybody agreed to speak to us we had to sign strange agreements which made sure you paid in advance and stipulated you could not call, but only email them. When the permission was granted we found out they had overlooked a water line in the garden, so another permission was needed for which they charged again. The plans were not detailed enough for the builders to understand etcetc. Very strange company and we wonder whether the references on here are real.

Despite thinking that we knew what we wanted before the process began, it was evident that we still had lots of questions and they were able to answer our questions and provide us with a final project were are very happy with. Urbanist architecture took the greatest pride and care in our project, they nurtured it as if it was their own, and demonstrated such professionalism and confidence that cannot be found elsewhere. I especially recommend ufuk ircus and Eleanor, as they took on the project and helped us to great lengths, to ensure we were granted planning permission. All the tangible assets of a successful company were shown, great communication, organisation, planning and trust. We started our project with 2 different architects all of whose plans have been subsequently rejected by our council last year. We were frustrated with these results and felt like we are on a treadmill leading nowhere. Then I started searching online for a solution and found Urbanist Architecture blog posts about planning procedures etc.. We initially sought consultation and then appointed them to prepare our 3rd planning application. They listened our needs, continuously brainstormed ideas and developed a strategic design.. When we were first looking for an architect, Mr Ufuk stood out amongst all the others we had contacted because of his pleasant and friendly manner. He got back to us straight away and gave us extremely helpful advice and arranged a site visit for us within a few days. Since then, we have been overwhelmed by the amount of time and dedication Mr Ufuk Bahar has spent on our project. He has been extremely professional when dealing with the council and applying for planning permission for us. He has an incredible amount of knowledge and we would really be lost in our project without him and his team. We would highly recommend Urbanist Architecture and they would be the first people we would contact should we need an architect for additional planning applications in the future.
